EpitomeGreat1: I guess by now, all those that have speculated that the mails and or the list will roll in by the 7th of October can now find a place to hide their heads in shame.
To speculate is not really bad but to do so with accurate certainty and bravado is just terribly unpardonable. Reading speculations on this thread is just disturbing.
I wouldn't know whether these speculations are meant to heighten fears or to calm nerves. This explains why ENSHI has been very generous in dishing out all the curses that are open to mankind.
I therefore appeal that we speculate and/or 'rumourize'(permit my choice of word) with caution. Otherwise, ENSHI has potential disciples who will be equally generous if not more generous with laying curses on whoever dares play with our collective emotions.
I wish everyone of us success as we await the list whenever it comes out. God or whatever entity you believe in, bless you all. Amen! I am happy. .. You are courageous to have called a spade by its name.... Nice |

ammyluv2002: Then read it again. Besides, there's nothing to revolt here! Like i said earlier, nobody will force any guy to pay if he doesn't have the money to spend so gini big deal?
Secondly, this has nothing to do with the babymama syndrome. Being a baby mama is a personal thing, it has nothing to do with the bride price been expensive. Isn't Flavor a rich guy? Take a look at all the famous babymamas you know.
You guys are the ones making things difficult. You mustn't have the whole world to get married. Don't make it look so big when there's nothing to it. I think, you really need to do some homework at least to get your facts straight unless you're saying 10k is too expensive then i can understand. To be sincere i really laffed out and loud too.... Well first and foremost pride prices are not fixed i have attended so many marriages outside the ibo tribe... The price in some cases is known only to the father of the bride he collects wot so ever the young man presents and often than not he returns it claiming it to be an exchange for what ever beatings, quarrel etc that May ensue btw them in future time... Mind you these ladies are high class both in beauty and profession... I have attended one trad in that same awka where they refused letting us go with the bride just cos of an item missing on the list (a live cock) imagine!!!! Believe it or not our girls are most single amongst the tribes of nigeria and lastly too our guys are most criminal cos they have to raise monies for the very high bride price payment |

ammyluv2002: If truly you are Igbo then you're not well cultured unless you're still very young to understand what it takes to marry a lady in some parts of Igbo land*no offense* What matters most is the bride price of the woman you want to marry which is 10k in my place. You can come with your people, pay the girl's dowry and go with her to your village...she becomes your wife officially. You mustn't bring all the items on the list at once. Most peeps got married that way even till tomorrow, get yourself informed by asking your uncles etc. I'm not sure of all the Igbo speaking states sha, but very sure of my State.
Like seriously? why on earth would take my personal text this serious? Lolsss! Dude, pls don't take life this serious okay I can bet i know much better than you as regarding ibo culture of differnt ibo speaking states.... I am also very aware of the exhaubitant bride prices... All am saying is that unless you girls help kick against it, y'all would continue to get married late if not at all and or the prevailing baby mama syndrom continues to hit y'all. .. My attention was drawn to ur post when i noticed the manner with which you praised the ibo high pride price thing... You were so happy about it. |

citizenjuwon: So, I got tired of rumors and "hear say". I went to Npf website and lifted the phone number of the PPRO, force hq, Abuja(name withheld). I just finished speaking with him now. He is the most cool headed police man have ever spoken with. He took his time to politely explain stuffs to me, when I enquired why we have not gotten any update from them. Hear said:
"The exercise is being handled by the police service commission, but the arrangement is to conclude the recruitment this year, they will definitely proceed with the next stage of the exercise when all is set, you will be contacted via various media".
I could have probed further, but I don't want to abuse privilege, so, I thanked him and hanged up. AND to this end i hereby move the motion for Immediate suspension of further speculations... If you second hit like else specualate at own risk |

ammyluv2002: Lolz...the choice is yours but Igbo chics are very different Ibo chics are different and thats y they marry very late most of them at menopause Can you open your profile and read ur personal text over again If you really wrote that personal text.... I dont think youd be asking a guy to come and spend 300k on you as pride price list... Dont forget i am also and ibo guy |

ammyluv2002: Yes, I'm very sure! A well cultured Igbo man will never agree to this.
As for the bride price,I'm from a small town in Awka South LGA and ours is just 10k plus other items on the list that will cost like 300k. 300k is not that bad...I don't know about other States sha. 300k isnt that bad.... How much do you think a plot of land is... Make I use 300k pay for items on a bride price list.... Taaaaaaahhhh gbafuuuooo.... I rada lay my house foundation with it and marry a pretty Yoruba girl |
