In recent times, KCEE has been under fire for his dress sense, the latest being his outfit to DJ Jimmy Jatt 25th anniversary event. He’s been called a lot of names and he’s never responded to any of the criticism about his dress sense.

But in an exclusive chat with Nigerian Entertainment Today, the award winning pop star said; ‘as far as I’m concerned those that are talking about my dress sense don’t even know what fashion is all about, they just want to talk, and as a celebrity, people just want to pick on you and say whatever they like.

‘For those that know me very well, if there’s anything that I can boast of, it’s fashion, I don’t joke with it. Most of these talks actually started from pictures I posted on Instagram, and really I got the buzz I needed at that time, so I even went on to post more pictures so people would talk more, and guess what, my followers have increased drastically with all these fashion talks.

‘I don’t even respond to them, I don’t take it serious, I’m happy and making more money, so I’m not loosing anything. If you come to my wardrobe you’ll know what I’m saying, I’m a fashion icon and I can brag about it. Sometimes there are some things you can’t brag about, but for me I can brag about fashion, I don’t have a problem with my fashion sense’.

A lot of his critics have advised him to get the services of a professional stylist, however, when asked if he has a stylist, KCEE said, ‘I don’t have a stylist, I style myself. These same set of people that talk negatively about a certain outfit would commend me on another one, so I just see them as confused people. The truth is I don’t get angry at them, rather I get inspired’.

Rising Nigerian actress and singer Seun Omolara Omolaja who is often referred to as “Vilara” by fans, is out with a new shoot.

Vilara is a graduate of History and International Relations from the Lagos State University and has featured in over 20 Nollywood movie both English and Yoruba speaking, since she started in 2003.

In 2012, she released her single “Mofe Baelo” and she is set to release a video next month.

On Friday, August 24, 2014, organizers of the Hip-hop world awards, now the Headies, held their annual ‘All White party’ in London.

Over the years, the all white party has served as the official build up party for the annual awards. The event was held at Clause Bar, 1 Lovat Lane, London, UK.

As expected, the turnout was impressive, with superstars like Ice Prince, Patoranking, Chidinma, Wizkid, Mr 2Kay, Baba Dee and many others in attendance.

However, one of the major talking points from the event was the All Black outfit Wizkid wore to the event. Wizkid wore a black sweat shirt and black jeans with a red belt and gold jewellery. From the pictures at the event, he looks like he had a swell time.

If you haven’t had a one night stand before, don’t worry, we have some tips for you on how to pull one off. That’s of course if you want to. It’s a skill, and requires utmost confidence in yourself and your personality. Here goes:

1. Be prepared – For you to be able to pull off a one night stand, you have to be prepared. When I say prepared, I mean your apartment is clean, you have protection (don’t want a one night stand affecting your entire life), and put on clean underwear. Yep… Lingerie for the ladies and clean boxers for the guys. What you don’t want is to get to the most important part of the night, and turn off your partner by having dirty surroundings or under garments, or even worse, not having a condom with you.

2. Be Adventurous but Selective – Chances are if you’re open to a one night stand, then there’s some amount of adventure is you already. Be open, adventurous. Remember it’s not about meeting your dream man/woman, it’s about the person you see yourself getting it on with that night. On the same token, don’t just grab the first thing available. For ladies, the first drunk guy to tell you how beautiful you are might not be the best idea, and fellas, just don’t go for the first insecure ugly duckling you can catch. You want to be able to look back and think better of yourself after this.

3. Flirt Flirt Flirt but don’t be desperate – No one likes a desperado. The key here is flirting casually initially and increasing the intensity as the night goes. Throw in sexual inuendos but not too direct or creepy. Read the vibe of the guy/girl. You will be able to tell if they want you around through the night or not. Remember that some folks don’t like one person around them for too long so if you sense that early enough then you might want to find another target. However if you do find that sweet one who engages in your flirting, and the vibe is going great, don’t mess it up by either being too pushy, too available or too desperate. Guys I’m looking at you here.

4. Don’t drink too much – Get a nice buzz, and being tipsy is always a good thing. Actually it helps you ease your nerves a little bit, and removes any guilt you might have, but tipsy is where it should stop. Once you cross the line from tipsy too drunk, the whole thing ruined. For the ladies, no guys wants to end up being a caretaker for the rest of his night, and same goes for guys. Plus when you’re drunk you end up being sloppy and that is NOT sexy at all.

5. Close the deal – By time the night is winding down a bit you should know if the vibe is right, and he/she is interested in continuing the night. Your window of opportunity here is pretty slim so you want to close the deal ASAP. A simple, “What’s next after this?“, “Wanna get out of here?“or “You wanna continue the night?” can take you where you need to go. If the answer is a negative, you can attempt to persuade a bit, but if you get 2 Nos, chances are it’s a No. What you don’t want to do is ask for his/her number before attempting to “continue the night.” Essentially you’re closing shop before giving yourself a chance. If you’re not the one doing the asking (esp ladies), then send a positive answer. This is not the time for forming especially if it’s something you want to do also.

In an interview with Punch Nigeria, Comedienne Princess Damilola opened up about her failed marriage. She said her marriage lasted less than a month and she fell ill and had to be hospitalized.
Read excerpts from the interview.

You didn’t say what was wrong with you that you had to be hospitalized?
But you already know. We thank the Lord. The most important thing is that I am alive and better. I appreciate life more. But this one you are asking, e no reach make I sick? After my husband left after our wedding, was it not enough reason for me to be sick? Ah! The Lord is our strength.

Why are you making fun of this?
Ah! I am telling you the truth o. The truth is that we all have challenges in our lives. I have always believed that the challenge is not the issue but how you get up and get over it. I was very down last year. It was my low moment. But with the help of God and the support of my family and friends, I am here now. I am happy.
Are you no longer depressed?
I was never depressed. I reacted like every normal human being would react if she embarks on a lifetime journey and it doesn’t go as she planned it. But God has a reason for everything.

Are there times you wish you weren’t a celebrity especially when you are linked with controversies?
The only time I felt bad about my fame was when my marriage ended. I felt if I weren’t this popular; people wouldn’t have talked about it. So many marriages crash on a daily basis but you will not hear about them. Some people have been married five times but you will not hear their gist because they are not in the eye of the public. People didn’t know that the marriage had broken up until December when I felt I was strong enough to handle the publicity that it generated.
Were you shocked with the kind of publicity it generated?
I was shocked! People called me from all parts of the world including China. Some people cried while some people felt happy. Some guys said they were happy my marriage ended. Some said they were not happy that I even married the guy. Some said I looked older than him. Some said my marriage shouldn’t have ended just like that. People talked and talked. But the only time you know your marriage is successful is when you live with your partner and God calls one of you home. Marriage of 30 years can still break up. It is a bad thing for a marriage to breakup. So you can imagine the unhappiness the parties involved would be going through. Nobody is happy when his/her marriage ends. Some people see me outside and ask, ‘your marriage has ended, how do you feel?’ I will answer them that I am jumping up or how else do they expect me to feel? Nonsense! A comedian once said that ‘complete’ and ‘finish’ appear to have the same meaning but they are not the same. If you marry the right person, you are complete but if you marry the wrong person, you are finished.
Were you in love with him in the first place?
I got married to somebody who I was in love with. At that time, he also said he loved me. Unfortunately, the marriage ended too soon.
Why?
It was due to irreconcilable differences. It is not a thing of joy. I don’t think we should celebrate sadness and bad news. We should be more sensitive. No marriage should end but peradventure it does, don’t make a mockery of that person. You are not even mocking the person, you are mocking God.
Are you giving it another shot?
No! Me ke? Let us struggle first and make some money. In any case, I think I should marry a Chinese or an Indian. If many people agree that I should marry a Chinese, then I will go ahead. But a Japanese might be better. Japanese products are strong and reliable.

Blue Ivy had watched Beyoncé perform songs from her latest album before taking the stage to honor the pop star with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award and calling her “the greatest living entertainer.”

In the videos you’ll see below, Beyoncé cried as she took her award from her husband and her young daughter. She and hubby Jay locked lips, dispelling any notion that there’s trouble in paradise — a show of marital bliss for all the world to see.

Apparently, unfaithful wives want to have their cake and eat it too. According to a new study, women who cheat on their husbands are looking for passion and sex, but they have no desire to end their marriages.

Using data from AshleyMadison.com (“the premier ‘dating’ website for aspiring adulterers“), Eric Anderson, a professor of masculinity, sexuality and sport at the University of Winchester in England and the chief science officer at AshleyMadison.com, observed 100 women between the ages of 35 and 45 on the site. After reading their conversations with potential lovers, Anderson found that 67 percent of these married ladies were specifically looking for more “romantic passion,” aka sex. None wanted to actually leave their husbands and most even painted their clueless spouses in a positive light.

The ‘Stay’ hitmaker, who ended her on-again, off-again relationship with the troubled R&B star for good last summer, sat courtside with pals, including Cara Delevingne, as he played in the CC Sabthia’s and Robinson Cano’s Summer Classic Charity Basketball Game at the Barclays Centre in New York City, and was reportedly annoyed about his surprise appearance.

A source told E! News: ‘Chris wasn’t scheduled to play in the game.’

‘Rihanna had already promised [to attend] so this forced them to be in the same place at the same time.’ The insider added: ‘They didn’t speak to each other at all.’

Rihanna also appeared unimpressed that ‘Chris was showing off the entire game,’ according to the eyewitness. But the 26-year-old beauty, who is rumoured to have rekindled her romance with Drake, didn’t let the incident get her down, as she later partied with a number of other celebrities and her brother in the city.

A source said: ‘Rihanna and Ne-Yo came into Club Finale early on Thursday night. Rihanna’s brother came in later. So did Fabulous and Carmelo Anthony, who both joined Rihanna’s table. Future came in later in the night with Young Jezzy.’ Chris, 25, also recently got back together with his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

U.S President Barack Obama has refused to get doused with a bucket of ice water for the ALS Challenge. Obama will instead take the penalty and donate money to a charity fighting Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Obama was issued the challenge by Ethel Kennedy, the eldest living member of the Kennedy family, an American political dynasty.

‘The President appreciates Mrs. Kennedy thinking of him for the challenge, though his contribution to this effort will be monetary,’ the White House told the Boston Globe‘s Matt Viser.

The 28-year-old singer wants to have a commitment ceremony with Taylor Kinney, 33, outside of the Earth’s atmosphere at the beginning of next year while onboard Sir Richard Branson‘s Virgin Galactic flight.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ‘Gaga and Taylor want to make a pledge for life, and think the space flight is too big an opportunity to pass up.’ ‘It would be typical of her to have the least conventional ‘wedding ever. Of course it would be a simulated-style marriage as there wouldn’t be a priest or religious figure there. But they don’t care about convention, it’s more about making each other a life-long promise.’

Meanwhile, the ‘Applause’ hitmaker is set to perform during the trip into space on the special flight – which will cost $250,000 per seat and she is looking forward to using the opportunity to spread a ‘message of love’. Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt brought out all the stars as the launch of his album “The Industry” and his 25th anniversary event saw the likes of 2face Idibia, Kate Henshaw, Tiwa Savage, Sound Sultan, Dr Sid, Lynxx, Praiz, Ebuka Obi- Uchendu, Vector, Titilayo Oyinsan, Basketmouth, Julius Agwu, Okey Baskey, Omawunmi, Ufoma Ejenobor, Mannie, Dotun, Kaylah Oniwu, Vixen Ekwere, amongst others show up at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.

As far as movie franchises go, The Expendables series is less a genuine attempt to make actual action movies and more a cinematic equivalent of the Lillian Booth Actors Home: somewhere leathery, down-on-their-luck stars can go when they’re in need of a warm bed and a nutritious, fiber-rich meal. “I like using people that had a moment and then maybe have fallen on some hard times,” creator and now-established philanthropist Sylvester Stallone told Entertainment Weekly in 2011. “We also need some new blood in there, a Navy Seal-type, because with the Expendables, none of them have 20-20 vision anymore. They need some help, man.”

In The Expendables 3, the latest installment in the franchise, the recipient of this last-action-hero largesse is Mel Gibson, who hasn’t had much to do since Apocalpyto (public episodes of anti-Semitism, it turns out, are not so conducive to Hollywood careers). Gibson plays arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks (you have to assume Stallone and his two-co-writers used an action movie-algorithm for these names and roll with it, or you’ll get a terrible headache), who, it transpires, was the co-founder of the Expendables with Barney Ross (Stallone) many (many) moons ago. Stonebanks and Ross were the two best friends and paid killing machines that anyone could have, until, as Stonebanks puts it, Ross’s “pesky moral conscience” got in the way, forcing Stonebanks to ditch the merry band of mercenaries and become an international arms dealer.

That’s it, really. And you could be forgiven for doubting the existence of this supposed moral conscience given the carefree manner with which Ross and returning Expendables Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture), and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) off anonymous henchmen in the first 30 minutes. But they do manage to rescue Doctor Death, a one-time member of the group played by Wesley Snipes, who exists primarily to make jokes about tax evasion and engage in knife-throwing contests with Christmas.

After Caesar is gravely wounded in a showdown that simultaneously reveals the existence of Stonebanks, Ross, who’s played by an actor two years away from 70, ditches his team of 50-somethings because they’re too old, which is a bit like octogenarian Hugh Hefner retiring Bridget Marquardt from his coterie of bunnies after she turned 35. This gives Ross the opportunity to bring in a new fleet of characters including Bonaparte (Kelsey Grammer), a sort of recruitment professional for mercenaries who travels around the world with Ross helping him pick out a wrinkle-free crew.

During this montage of scenes in exotic locales, Stallone sports a series of ever-more-extraordinary outfits, including a pork-pie hat and a formal blazer that appears to be fashioned from a Navajo horse blanket. His face, meanwhile, is a shade of mahogany that might cause even John Boehner and George Hamilton to raise an eyebrow, and he has increasing difficulty forcing it into recognizable expressions. When Ross first sees Stonebanks, whom everyone has long believed is dead, his top lip quivers infinitesimally until it almost looks like a sneer—an approximation of what we’re supposed to believe is rage. But his trademark growl, three octaves below a baritone, is as velvety as ever it was in the bygone Rocky/Rambo era.

The movie borrows so liberally from other action films that it starts to feel at times a bit like a BuzzFeed listicle. Stonebanks makes a video and sends it to Ross in which he seems to be doing an impression of Heath Ledger’s Joker, while his short-lived capture at the hands of the Expendables has echoes of Mission Impossible 3.
