After the beef and misunderstanding that the Chairman and CEO of DV8 MEDIA; Waconzy had with Tonto Dike, Olamide, Timaya Davido and his recent misunderstanding with Flavour, he replied positively to Flavours apology and made reparation and also apologised to these celebrities. He cleared the dust, and made everyone comprehend that he has nothing against these companions. Fans on twitter see Waconzy as someone who possesses a sense of Majority and right judgement and NoCoolStory sees the same. We hope he doesn’t fall a victim of any future misapprehension that would cause irreverent dispute. Read More Here |

Jesse Jagz is switching his look – The artiste who’s been rocking dreadlocks for months is now wearing his hair in braids. We caught the talented artiste performing at the ‘Don’t Break D Beat‘ rap competition back in November, wearing hair extensions. We won’t tell you Jesse Jagz has been acting strangely in the past few months. We won’t also tell you we’ve heard from close friends that he’s battling marijuana use. What we would tell you is that Jesse Jagz is one of the greatest producer-rapper-singers who has walked the surface of planet Earth. It’s been a topsy-turvy 2013 for MI’s younger brother; controversially leaving record label Chocolate City in March 2013, setting up his ‘Jagz Nation‘ label and subsequently dropping arguably the best album of 2013 – ‘Jagz Nation Vol 1. An incredible flying car has been developed to let drivers skip traffic jams and take to the skies. The vehicle can be driven on normal roads as well as being flown as a two-seater airplane, as it is able take off and land at any airport, ‘opening the door to real door-to-door travel,’ according to a Slovakian company. Named the AeroMobil 2.5, the hybrid invention was unveiled at AeroTech, an airshow exhibition held in Montreal. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 99mph when driven as a car, but in airplane mode can soar through the skies at 124mph. The prototype is part of an ongoing project by the AeroMobil Team led by co-founders Stefan Klein and Jurak Vaculik, who are based in Bratislava, in Slokavia. Tatiana Veber, AeroMobil spokesman said: ‘We have been developing the concept of a flying car since 1990. ‘Our first model looked quite bizarre and it would have problems in the regular use. ‘That was a signal to improve the concept of the flying car in a way to become an integral part of the regular road traffic. ‘We got a positive feedback from several experts in avionics, which appreciated design and the technical solution of the process of transformation. ‘The car is constructed to be fuelled at regular gas stations using the fuel for Rotax 912 ULS engine.’ The company claims the vehicle can be parked in a standard parking space and can be driven on normal roads. When used as a car, the vehicle has a range of 310 miles and measures just over one-and-a-half metres wide. Built from light-weight steel framework and carbon coating, when converted into a plane, the vehicle measures just over eight metres wide and six metres long to accommodate two people. The increase in width is due to the unfurling of its collapsible wings. The vehicle, which weighs 450kg, has a take-off speed of 90mph and a range of 430 miles as an airplane. more pix here

Once again, we’ve left the times when men were free to chase women about town behind. The question of personal loyalty aside, these days what is acceptable for one sex is likewise acceptable for the other. 1. Mean Means Likes True, some boys do not know how to express their interest to a girl except by being bothersome. That leads grow-ups to explaining it away by “he likes you and that makes him do mean things to you.” But purposeful bullying and affectionate teasing are two very different things, and repeating it you can teach your girl to believe that affection comes with being nasty. Teasing is no good way to express your feelings, and both girls and boys ought to be brought up understanding that. 2. Men Never Cry The notion that men never cry – or are supposed not to – is actually preposterous. Everyone has emotions, and everyone is likely to cry at times. Grief or stress can squeeze out tears, and it’s only natural. Men may make out that they are impervious to gentler feelings, but don’t you believe it. 3. Men Are Breadwinners There used to be a time when the burden of providing the family’s budget lay with men solely while their wives watched over the household, but it’s in the past. The times have moved on, and now it’s nothing special if the man looks after the house and does the cooking while his wife is out earning her wad. So long as the partners think it’s the best arrangement, there’s no obligation for the man to be the principal moneymaker. 4. The Epitome of Power Again, we are used to men holding far more positions of power compared to women, but it doesn’t mean they are more compelling by nature. Women have proved it that they have a perfect right to place themselves among the powerful ones of the world and they are here to stay. Now we all know that people are equal and their abilities have nothing to do with gender. 5. Men Go after Every Skirt Once again, we’ve left the times when men were free to chase women about town behind. The question of personal loyalty aside, these days what is acceptable for one sex is likewise acceptable for the other. Male promiscuity is no better that female one, so men are no longer to be excused for bedding every woman they meet just because they are men. Read more here |

Mr Moe Musa, director of Davido’s new ‘Skelewu’ video has reacted to the harsh criticisms following the release of the music video. The video premiered on Monday night, October 23, 2013 and in the last 32 hours, Moe Musa and Davido have received quite a number of unfavourable comments with most of them condemning the video’s lack of originality. Others feel the ‘Skelewu’ dance, which is the essence of the song was not well portrayed. The video was shot, edited and released in less than five days after a leaked version (directed by another music video director Sesan Ogunro) hit the internet. Moe Musa made a rant on Twitter some hours ago, saying ‘soo I have travelled back n forth from U.K to Nigeria all year round and i have kinda seen all the music video directors at work. All u haters out there are full of shit, lol. I think if I am correct there are about 5-15 music video directors out there and all work very flipping hard. Luv to the supports and even more luv to the haters god know u need it more. Just to clarify I am not in any way angry or frustrated to be honest i am just sitting in my hotel room in Portharcourt chilling’, he wrote in a series of tweets. Moe Musa isn’t the only one who’s got his creative skin burned. The video’s producer, a certain Tunde ‘Phoenix’ Babalola has also voiced his opinion, commenting on an article published by NET (the report identified the concept of Davido’s video as a direct copy of LMFAO’s ‘Party rock anthem’.) Babalola wrote: ‘Mr writer i just had to respond to this and i really hope to see this. It clearly shows you are a learner and your level of exposure is very minimal. 1st the video was inspired by 28 days later which also inspired party Rockers. To put is very blunt Mr there is no idea new under the sun and any video you see is inspired by something my friend. With regards to being a “creative thief” as you put very cheap and vindictive headline by the way. I guess that makes every single video Director in Nigeria thief because i can compile you a list of videos on Nigerian TV by Acclaimed Nigerian Directors that fit that profile and that would make everybody a Thief is that what you are implying?’. Babalola goes on to suggest popular Nigerian director Clarence Peters should receive the same strokes of rebuke going on to compare two of his videos (Ayoola’s ‘Ochanya’ to Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred lines’ and Psquare’s ‘Alingo’ to Ne-Yo’s ‘Let me love you’). Davido who’s at the centre of attention seems to have moved on. Tweeting his feelings, he said; ‘Lol Pple have time…. All nah Jonsin! 3 videos dey anyone u like watch if u no like anyone no watch feel free! OBO’. Source Visit here for your classic entertainment news |

Popular lingerie line Victoria’s Secret has unveiled this year’s fantasy bra for the brand’s annual fashion show. The Victoria’s Secret’s Royal Fantasy Bra is a 4,200 gemstone jewel-encrusted bra designed solely for the fashion runway. The fantasy bra which comes with a matching belt, is hand set in 18 carat gold with a 52 carat pear shaped centre ruby, pieced together with precious stones ranging from diamond, rubies, and yellow sapphires, and is guarded at all times by two bodyguards. Designed by jeweler Mouawad, the ornamental piece of lingerie cost a whopping $10 million, a whole lot more than last year’s version which cost $2.5 million, and will be modeled by supermodel, Candice Swanepoel at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on December 10, 2013. Swanepoel has already expressed her excitement at rocking the very expensive jeweled lingerie piece. ‘So excited to be wearing the fantasy bra this year in the @victoriassecret fashion show! It was moulded on my body months ago, finally I can let the secret out. Thank you #victoriassecret’ she wrote on her Instagram. Victoria’s Secret’s fantasy bra was first modeled on the runway in 2001, by super model, Heidi Klum. Since then, there have been 18 fantasy bras, with 12 having appeared on the runway. The most expensive remains the $15 million Red Hot Fantasy Bra and Panties, which was photographed on Gisele Bundchenin 2000. Source and more pix for your classic entertainment news

Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife TV has signed a co-production deal for the African version of Desperate Housewives scheduled to debut in mid -2014. The original ABC TV series- Desperate Housewives - followed the lives of a group of women as seen through the eyes of a dead neighbour who committed suicide in the very first episode. The storyline covers thirteen years of the women's lives over eight seasons as they worked through domestic struggles and family life, while facing the secrets, crimes and mysteries hidden behind the doors of their — at the surface — beautiful and seemingly perfect neighbourhood. Ben Pyne, President of global distribution at Disney, revealed at the recently concluded MIPCOM 2013 (an international TV and entertainment market held in Cannes once every year; where content is introduced for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing) that the African version of the comedy/drama series created by Marc Cherry, and broadcast by ABC from 2004 until 2012 - is currently in development, for a summer 2014 debut. The co-production deal with EbonyLife TV will feature an African cast, set in Lagos, Nigeria, where it will also be shot, airing in 44 countries within the African continent. The highly popular series gathered a huge following in Nigeria as well over the years. Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife TV said, “We are going to make it relevant, number one, by using local talent — talent that our viewers will know and love; two, we are going to work with local stylists, local fashion designers, local interior designers." The series has had four South American versions: one for Argentina, one for Colombia and one for Brazil as well as a remake in Turkey. “We are going to give the stories an African flavour. We will localize it, because there’s nothing the West has that Africa doesn’t have. We love, we fight, we kiss and we make up. We like all the good things in life. There’s good and there’s evil globally. So all those human interests, those things that appeal to you, believe me, appeal to us also.” Mo Abudu added. The Nigerian series will feature an African cast of new emerging and established talents and will be filmed on location in Lagos, Nigeria, at Adiva Estates, a gated development along the Lekki Expressway, developed by ARM. This location has been identified as Africa’s own "Wisteria Lane". Production will closely follow the format and storylines of the original US version, with a uniquely Nigerian flavour. And to ensure the series retains its international appeal but with an African soul, EbonyLife TV will be working with DO.ii designs and Agatha Interiors on furniture design for the Desperate Housewives Africa sets. On dressing of talent, EbonyLife TV will be partnering with stylist Veronica of Vane-Style and major Nigerian designers to include Bridget Awosika, Ella & Gabby, Jewel By Lisa, Kareema Mak, Lanre Da Silva, Meena, Me-Li, Needle Point, Odio Mimonet, Phunkafrique, Toju Foyeh, etcetera. Talks are also ongoing with a number of potential sponsors to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity that will undoubtedly deliver increased brand awareness, massive brand building and huge propensity to purchase. With this exciting news, the question on everyone’s mind is, which actresses from our continent will make up the ensemble of cast in the Nigeria-set Desperate Housewives Africa? We wait to see.
