There's also room for more questions, and suggestions too. Believe it or not, lots of companies selling their own brands find selling online very unattractive, because of their experiences.

For me, sourcing your products is the single most important aspect of selling. Whether for old or new policy, if properly done can keep the merchant's head well above water.
ok sir. let me allow you to land.

will be back later.

There were certain changes brought about by a new policy there. I call it a policy based on self preservation.

However, as an entrepreneur, one should see opportunities even in adversities. Yes, sales dropped, and quite a number of existing merchants dropped too. I had to stop selling for a couple of weeks in order to understand the new rules before resumption of selling on the platform.

From my analysis, there are a number of new opportunities. One of which is that Dealdey reduced their commission on each sale you make
final question sir :

is your N1m sales revenue before or after their new policy?

the answer won't really affect the value of what you have to offer

will just help put things in perspective.

thanks

It may have slowed due to the Naira to Dollar problem but if you can get it cheaper rates from your bank, this will be the best time to start.
no sir. it slowed when they introduced new shipping policies.

merchants now ship directly to buyers and buyers can no longer pick up at DealDey offices.

the transition wasn't smooth and the platform is yet to recover from that sudden change and the convenience that went away with it.

with time hopefully, buyer confidence will return and sales will soar again.

those days on DealDey, it was very common to find lots of deals selling in their hundreds.

now you find only 1 or 2 deals selling in tens and the others in units.

Revenue. The topic says over N1 million in sales. The amazing thing is that this was achieved with a principal of about N200k.

Of course I didn't plan to let the cat out of the bag so early.
OK sir. pls ride on.

the reason I asked is because I know things on DealDey have slowed in the past few months.

I'm sure your tips will be beneficial to many.

I'm in fear.
I don't want to deal with anyone again.
I got scammed.
I sent $5000 to someone in Nigeria and it's been a week and i haven't received my money.
Mehn, You guys need to watch out.
These guys will take advantage of you.

What are you gonna do ??
Book a $1,500 flight to Nigeria to come track the guy who scammed you of a small amount of money and also waste your precious time.

I hope you learn from my mistakes and not fall a victim to them savages.
You will start hearing stories on how people are scammed here.

I was just laughing because it's just a small money to me.
I hope the guy uses the money for a reasonable stuff.
toluxa1:
400kayyyyhuh Na wa oooooo. But how can you fall for this cheap scam now? From looking at his picture in his ID sef, you should know that guy cannot have $1700. If he has it, he stole it. This guy jsut registered two weeks ago and you send him nearly half a million naira? Haba Haba! Well, I have a feeling you will get back your money.

I think it is time we create a thread that has a list of tested and VERY trusted people who sell either inflow or paypal.

maybe the N1m can get you the kind of car you can use for Uber Taxi business?

that way you generate income with the car when not in use?

saw a thread somewhere on the specs they accept.

TokyoBulls:
Do you own a 2008 (or newer) car in good working condition in Lagos or Abuja and are looking to earn up to N100,000 per week by putting your car on Uber platform? The same car that currently gulps your money and is easily taunted as a liability can become an asset. You can drive the car yourself, hire your own driver or use one of our hired well trained and professional drivers.

Are you a current driver with a valid driver’s license, Lagos State Driver’s Institute license, excellent customer service and a good knowledge of Lagos and/or Abuja? Are you currently employed but possess these qualities and want to earn more? You can earn up to N120,000 monthly by becoming one of our private Uber drivers. Great thing is you decide your working conditions.

Interested persons can send emails to UberLagosSpectre@gmail.com and UberLagosSpectre@yahoo.com. Kindly share broadly. Thanks

you can as well use the Uber biz to fund your bar and use the bar biz to maintain the car. [/s]

BusinessRe: Konga.com Is So Annoying. by EnterPRO: 12:42pm On Jan 10, 2016
they never said it was a must for you to advertise with them.

they merely hinted that advertising anywhere - eg with them, could boost your online sales and thus prevent what led to your suspension in the first place.

what's the point of unsuspending you if they still have to suspend you again for the same reason?
