This $20k bond seems to be a good tool the way I am seeing it, and based on what I am reading so far. Hmmmm. Interesting.

Looks like it will discourage or encourage the following groups:

1. Those who know how to invest well in Naija. I saw one guy up there analysed the value he is getting if he puts that in the Nigerian bond. By the way, Naija's Tbills, bond, and other FG financial instruments, event the naija stock are one of the best performing in the world. Even our banking system is one of the best. We just need to be able to remove corruption, and we will be the best nation in the world. And Naija will get there. Its why I am still around too....when I realised this...I tanga here to set up very well before knowing what next to do. Lol.

2. Those who want to japa anyhow and hustle in the US, but don't have the money are discouraged too. These people are the ones that used student visas and never went to school. Lol. These ones got tourist visas, and never returned. So, it is definitely discouraging many of them. Lol. They are the same group that are cursing the UK daily. They want to always find loopholes to feast on. Lol.

3. Those who have reasons to go there because they want something there. Can be good education, access to innovative opportunities, good networking, etc. I think people in this group will rather wait and see what's up. Someone said Trump will find a way to not release the money even after they follow all the rules, and will find a way to say they are disqualified for the refund. I doubt it, but its wise to look before you leap. At least, with $20k you have a good chance of getting it. So, you start weighing the options. What I stand to benefit, is it worth more than the interest in Nigerian investments? Hmmmm! Is it worth even more than losing the whole $20k? Sure some people will fall into the group of just losing the cash because the gem they have found or will find may worth billions of naira.

So, it really depends on you. What exactly are you planning to go do in the US? Just the same way sophisticated Nigerians prefer to stay in Switzerland, which is one of the most expensive places to live on earth. And they are doing excellently well.

You lose value when you turned back on your calling. Such is what Tunde Bakare is dealing with. The moment he dabbled into politics, he lost it all. I dont even understand if those following him still cant use their heads. Gush.

I agree with you. My view is about reaching the percentage one will say "Women are self independent financially". What percentage of women that are independent should be accepted as the standard? Right now, I think over 99.9% men accepted they must be self independent financially. Perhaps, 20% men arent, and they are ashamed of it. I listened to the whole issues, and the view of the church was taken too far. They got some things right, and Tinubu gave them the right answers to some of their concerns.

Then, the issue of poverty in Nigeria before he was born. Ha! Tinubu actually, messed up there. I understand it wasn't the way he meant it because no president will deliberately want poverty on his people. But deeply, he said the truth. And such truth is not meant to be voiced out. Never!!!

For me, the bottom line is that, he should just finish the major constructions he is doing before leaving office. I dont see what Obi or Atiku would do better. This is the truth. May God provide the right person who will make Nigeria great again. These guys have nothing to offer us.

In Tinubu's case, he wasn't looking for Buhari's favor anymore. He knew he had no backing from Buhari and that Buhari cannot stop him further. He played his mumu card with Buhari before election because he had to stay in the party. Going to another party would mean starting all over. It takes a lot of gut to remove subsidies and I am so happy this is happening. Subsidies habe killed Nigeria.

What is going to happen? Govt will keep on doing it, and they will over do it. Lol. Then, everyone will sit tight and the fight will be real. A balance will be reached somehow. Lol.

For example, govt will want to remove all subsidies on agric too. Lol. Thats when they will realise that ha...mmmba!!! Lol.

The ban problem isn't about beans itself (still goated food) but the amount of chemical preservatives Nigerian farmers use, which significantly exceed safe limits.
