Marriage is no more what it supposed to be these days. Men used to dominate women, and women said enough. Then, women started their own manipulation, and men think it is becsuse she is the only one. Polygamous we know is hell is what men want to go back to. The root is what we should address. The problem started when men started marrying big back and front instead of the character of the women, and women cared only about the men with money. We will correct this present confusion if we can change the orientation of the youth to marry for love and character instead of beauty and money. Can this ever happen again? |
Dalohad: Emmolap:Afraid of hurting Tinubu's reelection. After their master wins, they will erase everything. |
People make money from forex. People make money from gambling too. The question is that do you understsnd it? As bad as gambling is, Nate Silver made tons of dollars from it. To many who don't understand the mathematical principles guiding it, it is gambling. To the one who understands the analytic or mathematical reasoning behind it, it is gold. Most comments I read in this thread are so funny. |
Lagos State is only playing politics. The truth is that they are justified with the action. The demolished homes are illegal under high tension electric cables. There are still many undemolished illegal structures there. I just don't like talking about issues like this because the poor people will always cry and see one as insensitive. Also, if the same govt moved into an area I have an interest in, or I have invested, even my interest or investment is legal, those poor people will "beef" me and even work against me. They will even go to any length to make sure my legal structure is pulled down. It's why I don't say much about cases like this. But looking at this issue, the govt is right. Trust them, they will still demolish other structures. They are just trying to not hurt Tinubu 2027 campaign. Lol. So, baba won't vex with them. This is the reason they are still finding excuses. You will all be shocked what they are going to do after Tinubu wins the next election. The whole of Makoko will be pulled down. All slumps in the Mainland, adjacent to the Island will be cleared. Mark my words. They know how much they sell these apartments. There are many who are willing to paying about 300 million naira to 1 billion naira or more for each apartment in these areas. And a buildikg may have minimum of 8 apartment in 3-storey buildings. Many comfortable people want to move out of Lekki because of the traffic there. Those who cannot afford Ikoyi will easily buy these apartments. |
Everything is playing excellently for Tinubu to win again. I can see two possibilities that can dethrown Tinubu: 1. The best is Atiku - President, Obi -Vice President. 2. Very Good - Obi - President, Any northern candidate approved by Atiku, and solidly behind them. Option 2 is very slim to happen because Atiku will buy over 85% delegates again. And Option 1 is a mistake for Obi because it will be the end of his political journey like Osinbajo. I believe Obi should have switched to another political party instead of ADC to keep his card, and then nominated a loyal VP for Atiku. He should have worked with Atiku from another party and encouraged supporters to vote for Atiku - Tinubu's strategy. This will make him the number SE presidential candidate (no rival), but he wants to be the president now. This is the reason I respect Tinubu because he was so patient until he was sure of winning. |
Now I understand why people like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Diddy can influence the decision. They know the professionals and can easily sell their artists to them. They even know what those people want to hear in music, and they put those things there. But people like Davido no sabi am well. We know Diddy paved the way for Burny Boy, and Wizkid used his baby mama to get across to Beyonce. David tried using Chris Brown, but getting the award is not getting nominated. Asake has rebranded himself. Lol. Guy man has seen that he can't win using his old style. He even had a concert in a suit late last year. He didn't go naked, no "swagging" of his pants, etc. Guy had a very low hair cut style too. He must have consulted a pro. And Guy man don give Olamide a red card. Lol. Smart man. |
Jimoh was born in the UK, so he cannot falsify his age. He is 19. He looks young actually...its only in this pic he looks a bit old. |
givedemwotowoto:Go use your yeye smart - ness in your eyes on your kind. Lol. It won't work on me. I will not tell you how. Go and research it and stop embarrassing yourself. I too know. And dem go say am with boldness. I won't still tell you. Go research it yourself. ![]() |
givedemwotowoto:Amd you still repeat this gabbage even after correcting you to check well how you can go about it? Like I said, I won't tell you how to do it. It just shows that you are a traditional person who doesn't want to advance. If so, keep using that system to remain local. You can get VAt as a producer if you use the right model for your business. Period. If you like, repeat it again. |
givedemwotowoto: gracealonev:While your arguments may have sounded reasonable to an illiterate or semiliterate, they cause a literate person to open his mouth wide. We have told hausas to brand their products in ways that can be taxed. Simple. The places that lose VAT to other places are not prepared to conduct business in modern ways. Smart producers operate a system that gives them VAT. It's as simple as ABC. I am not going into the details of educating you anymore on this issue. Go and make the research yourself and get it right. And stop embarrassing yourselves trying to be smart. Good luck! |
It is well. Hmm. May God send us all helpers. But my view is this: how politicians, top civil servants, military bosses, electoral seniors like the chairman, zonal directors, professors that are used during elections, etc have destroyed Nigeria to this stage. This isn't only about IBB, Buhari, OBJ, Jonathan, Dazeni, Tinubu, Akpabio, Atiku, Obi, etc are thoae that have destroyed Nigeria. But almost all public office holders, politicians, etc have been destroyed Nigeria for over 5 decades. Here is the result. People are helpless. They turned to God, and pastors, imams/alfas, and babalawos finished the destruction. Hmmmm. It is well oooo. And then, yahoo boys started out of the desperation of the young Nigerians to make money. Hmmm! So, I can only say that the set of young Nigerians who are comfortable are the ones with tech and trading skills. And before you know it, they are out of Nigeria. Not all skillful health workers are comfortable, so, those ones not happy are moving out daily as long as they can find jobs abroad. The opportunities are still there. The ones left here do not want to take up the challenge one way or the other. Most likely, they are tired of studying or are at the top here looting also. To crown the whole wahala, boko haram and bandits chased farmers out of their farms. Of course, farming vegetables, fruits, and even raising livestock are profitable ventures, and one can use them to raise fund for major projects. But now, Nigerians have created an artifical barrier to entering these areas. Many young Nigerians cashed out before 2020 seriously. I know many who used their profit to buy or build houses, relocated abroad, or diversified into other businesses or investments (even many in this category sold their businesses or investments to japa) So, this is the Nigerian story. It is well. May God help us all in this nation. |
SmartPolician:You see $1 million too big for anyone to invest in relocating to the US, but little did you know that Trump only modified a program that gives it to $800k over $1m investors in their economy which had been available for close to 10 years or more. The funny thing was that the previous program took years (maybe 5 or more) after the investment. Trump wanted to make it $5 million. And do you know the number of people who have paid $800k to $1m before Trump came to power? Since Trump's card is faster, more people are jumping on it cos they know that after he leaves office, it may be cancelled. And when they are already in the US, it will be hard to remove them. If you know the number of people who have paid, you won't post the above. Guy, if you are into tech, entertainment, art, finance, and genetics which are all the areas innovation is taking place and also the future drive of wealth, you will relocate to the US even it costs $10 million. You don't know the value because you are not in the areas I have listed above. Elon will give $1billion to remain in the US. Mark my words. Most tech gurus in China and India don't go anywhere except the US. Go and check well. And when you know about the stocks market very well, you will be drawn to the US. May be you should compare the skills in Canada, UK, and US. The difference is so clear. 1st class are always in the US, while others are elsewhere. Even when 1st class move to the UK, Ireland, Canada, when they understsnd it all, they either travel very frequently to the US, or they relocate there. But when you are into traditional businesses, you have no business with the US. So, you don't need to tell me any lie here, you aren't into tech, genetics, entertainment, and world finance. I just hope you are in your 50s (age) minimum. If not, you may likely live your old age in poverty. Or the best option for you is to quickly buy houses here and there in Nigeria so you can take the rent and feed yourself during your old age. And this option too may not be viable soon. I still believe real estate will take a new shift soon. Ownership will change very soon (maybe in 20 to 30 years). Good luck sir. |
JoeEeL:Dem talk say make the man no divorce her? If the woman likes, let her be "ayamatanga" in the relationship na. Some responses and remarks sef are somehow. |
A well written article. Kwankwaso has indeed boxed himself to a corner. But the OBJ magic may still work, and he might take the vp slot to deputise Obi. But I don't see them winning Atiku, and Kwankwaso too must have know this...exactly what Keyamo strongly pointed out in his article. If I was Obi, I would pray Kwakwanso doesn't deputise me cos it will be a tough reign for Obi. Kwankwaso can easily impeach him. People come and go. Seems Kwankwaso has started his journey into the thin air. Anyway, he doesn't look like someone southerners will ever vote for with his Islamic and too strict style. In my view, as worse as Atiku is, he is a better choice. So, this is going to be between Tinubu and Atiku again. And Obi may spoil the show again. Lol. Another small party will easily take him na. If he can do it with Labor, who says he can't do it with another party? As usual, Atiku will win using his money, and I predict Obi will not take it. Atiku might (not sure, but just predicting what might happen) even use his money to make Obi accepts a VP slot. The only thing in that man's head is Obi becoming his VP. Lesson learned. You don't value what you have until you lose it. Then, he dumped Obi, and even played Wike for a weak candidate ...Okowa. Even me sef, I can't have Wike as my VP. Never. Atiku knew who he was and what he did during OBJ's regime, so he doesn't want someone to do what he did. But little did he know that what he did is why he cannot be the president. I pity people following him except those cashing out. Atiku is a failed project. If Obi agrees to stay in ADC after losing to Atiku, he will be another failed Kwankwaso. And if he leaves for another party which I feel is what he will likely do, he will be tagged the most unfaithful politicians in 2020s. And his path to the presidency will even be extremely difficult too. So, if I was Obi, I would start positioning myself as the eldest political man in Igbo. I don't see him in Aso Rock also now. If I were him and I lost to Atiku, claiming the whole north via Atiku would be my goal. He should just use the Jagaban style. Let him nominate a weak Igbo Osinbajo. Shikena. A weak politicians who will try the Osinbajo stunt when Atiku is leaving and fail. Then, he will come on board after 8 years. This is the path I see very clear for Obi. I pray someone shows him my post. And I pray he listens to the voice of wisdom. Goodluck to them all. |
sleeknaija:I know too na. But my post is the simplest calculation to show what we need to do. But the truth is this..even many here won't agree. You too may argue and defend your post here. Lol. Guess what? These red tapes are the corruptions we are saying that need to be removed. Now, these things look normal to everyone and most aren't seeing them bad and evil anymore. If you don't get it...them forget it. I just hope your post above isn't saying you are defending it that the reality on the field is the right thing. |
QuinQQ:So, you thought I was arguing with you to win with the questions I asked based in your style? Wonderful! And you made sure you won the argument. Mehn! Una eh! Bravo! Keep winning arguments with your partner. OK. See eh...you won the argument. This exactly is how all you men see this issue. Lol. Again, keep winning arguments with your wife....you all win learn. No worry. So, I agree...you won. You all will learn. |
QuinQQ:So, :the man will die means the woman kills him? Or, she gave her a final knock out means she kills him? Do you know what knock out means? Used in boxing. So, Antony Joshua killed everyone he knocked out? |
I like what Adelabu has done so far. Lol. Discos are were.ys and have no sympathy like most Nigerian business people. Everything is an opportunity to make quick money. They have been provided meters they will repay back in the next 10 years and they want to quickly take the money from consumers now. So, the institution that provided such opportunity considered them or the consumers to do such? They MUST provide the meters free, and they bill repayment of the meters gradually over 10 years. This 10-years payment provided isn't for them. If the meter costs N200k, they must divide the money over 9.5 years repayment so that consumers pay N1.9 per month for the next 10 years. And they apply inflation to the cost. At most, consumers pay N5 per month for the meter, and they will repay everything back in 9.5 years. But the Discos want to collect the cash immediately from consumers. Why then, does the installment payment exist? For them or for the customers? As regards the cost of installation, it should be around N500 per meter. If the meters are installed in bulk, like 1 person installs 20 meters per day and they move like 50 installers to a location, it means that per day, they can move 1,000 meters per day. Logistics cost is the same and they pay per day. So that logistics is the cost of fuel (they must have vehicle na...or don't they have?). And then, each installer collects N10k per day. It's enough. That's about N500,000 installation fee and max of another N50k which will be N550k for every 1,000 meters installed. This will be N550 per household. So. They shouldn't collect more than N550 per meter na. Let's say they are greedy and they want to cash out seriously for like N1m for logistics (I don't know how moving 1 000 meters for N1m is justified, but let say that's the price...then. the final cost is around N1,500 per meter. Or let's say, they want to knock some millions even billions, N2,000 per meter is enough. But these people are knocking out like N5b for each directors they have and they may have like 15 directors. Just imagine how much they are making. Plus, they get to keep the meter cost in a secured investment that will give directors like N10 billion each per year for the next 10 years na. Very greedy people. (The calculation is just to show you how it works and not the real figures). But they want to collect around N250k per meter. And they put the money in an investment vehicle for good 10 years before they repay the suppliers. And also overcharge for installations. This is the kind of corruption we need to address in Nigeria. It is killing the nation, and people aren't ready to stop until they finally destroy everything. |
QuinQQ:What exactly did you read there that suggested I meant she killed him? |
JoeEeL:Lol. Quality life is precious during old age. Since being a Methuselah isn't possible for everyone is the reason you don't want to treat your wife well, goodluck. You will understsnd the value of living a quality life after 60 to death. Don't worry. Lol! |
QuinQQ:So, you read "kill" in my post. Na waoooo. Don't worry, you will understand thing easily when you are dealt with like the case we are discussing. You mean say na kill you got from my post. Isokay! |
bigiyaro:Lol. You are a typical example of who the woman is talking about. Men who refuse to see. Don't worry, you will understand it at the right time, just like the man. ![]() |
There is a high probability that the man will die soon. Chief in commander may not be able to do simple house chores by himself. Lol. Na final knock out this mama gave him. Treat your wife well. This is the moral lesson here. |
The new kimd of reality show. Na waoooo! The good thing about predictive analytics is that it predicts almost accurately what people want. Dem go cash out big time. |
Benwallt:Person can feed you, and even 3 generations of yours, and his logic is .... lol. Poor man is damn too stubborn. And that stubbornness is what the rich cash out with. Keep it up. Man no get money wan talk. Always hiding behind his keyboard. ![]() |
Benwallt:He is a "stark illiterate" according to you, but he's got the brain to employ PhD holders. Lol. And you think you are literate? LOL. So, you think cos you call yourself literate, you are? Who have you met in this life? Who you be? You better off your mic this moment. Person no get "shi shi" dey call someone else "stark illiterate". Imagine....a no body opening mouth. ![]() |
Personally, I don't know why literature & government are prerequisites to studying law. It doesn't make much sense. A credit in English Language is enough. The young man's result isn't bad. Quite OK. |
Love800:I use it to cook almost everything apart from veggie, stew, & soup. |
wunmi590:Thanks for this thread. It made my day. Such a fun to read comments. And that you be Al Nassr fan since 5 years...that got me. Many other funny comments. Thks once again. |
It's why I don't say much about cases like this.
