I feel Pochettino gets too little credit for what he did with Spurs. I'd be happy with Ten Haag but I don't believe we currently have the type of setup that will allow him become an instant success with us.

I don't even have any reaction to this game. I wasn't expecting any miracle. I'm more concerned about how we play against the smaller teams for now. And we've not really done well in that aspect, so I don't expect where the hope is coming from. Until we go on a good run, playing those smaller teams off the field from start to finish before I can hope for any tangible result against stronger teams. Right now we can't even keep up with fitness against the Norwich of these world, is it City we want to match up against?

This is one of the reasons I want us to get Ten Haag. Take 2 years off and build a solid team with his system, Poch does not possess that "new-age" kind of football we see from the likes of Enrique, Pep, Hasenhúttl, Kopp. etc. We need to knuckle down, scout players that are a year or two from their prime and stop giving out outrageous contracts and paying stupid transfer fees.

The players are also improving, here most of our players regressed. And we're probably very lazy as a team. We still have that issue and it has to be fixed if not we won't make any meaningful gain

Bernardo that plays with much better defenders know the importance of not losing the ball but we're made to believe that as long as you pop up with a goal or an assist in this team, you can lose the ball anytime you like

The first thing any coach needs to add to this team is the energy and mentality to win even when not having a good day. We don't need players that sulk and lose it when they miss a chance or don't have things going as planned. Instead we need the ones that will fight for the next chance immediately. We probably play the slowest football in Europe currently
