Eph12 and 96forever, I think it's down to the system. I noted here before when we had McTonimay and Fred in midfield that they're hardly go past the CM to press and it's the same thing with Pogba and Matic.

Ole should do we to coordinate our play, we need to press as a unit and attack the same way...

Stop it abeg. In terms of pure impact on a club's fortunes, KDB and Bruno Fernandes are those niggas. In terms of numbers KDB has to be that guy. It's not even close. KDB was the best player in the league this season

Like someone said, they're style of defence is a high intensity counter pressing. Lampard is trying to implement the same tactic at Chelsea, but obviously the team still has a lot to learn.

Point is, Liverpool midfield don't get dominated because of the counter press. And if you're talking out and out defense in that midfield and conducting play, some people would rate Fabinho higher.

Don't get me wrong, Hendo was great this season. But the best player in the League this season? Seriously?

Do you know what it means to implement that system? Everyone has to be running the whole 90 minutes, then do that over 30+ games. If you think the midfield has a little or no huge role in this, I can't help you.

Pogba can’t play in that 10 position. He doesn’t react quickly enough and he is not fast enough. To play 10 in Epl, you need more than creativity. You need to cover a lot of ground and Pogba can’t do that.

With two hardworking midfielders behind him, I still believe he can do a good job there if played consistently.

We all know that Fred and McTom are never going to displace Pogba in the team now or anytime soon, but does Ole trust them enough to bring them on even when others are clearly exhausted? No. Pogba and Bruno are not the ones that keep putting their names on the team sheet.
