Digmygold: And i have said to you that i have read that citizens have been locked out of their countries. In the report a woman who lives close to the border went to buy crates of eggs for resale at a cheaper rate but was unable to get in and started to weep profusely when she was told she wouldnt be allowed back in.
I am under no obligation to send you links and never requested that you believe me by force by fire.
No its parasitic people like you who depend on stipends aka benefits from developed countries who will start to wail to Amnesty International clamouring for a raise and higher living standards for equally jobless community residents.
You did state so. Go back and read your posts. You could edit and then repost in order to sound a little intelligent. I see you attacking Nairalanders on every post. I no get your time. You can't expect to preach falsehood and not be called out. Where do you get your own information from? WhatsApp? Like you don't know that you've been living on stipends from foreign countries LMAO |

Digmygold: So now its the students clamiuring for evacuation not the government. In your earlier post you insinuated that the evacuation was instigated by their countries.
And did you get any information from this which made you conclude that these African countries evacuated them with planes? Do you know some got alternative accommodation in cities like Beijin? No I didn't state anything like that. You can quote it let me see. I said countries don't lock their citizens out. If they request to be brought back, they must be. The best the government can do is to isolate them for 14+ days, but to abandon them there, only a very useless third world country can do that. And its still people like you and that will cry to amnesty international or whatever over poor human rights. |

I just hope this anticipated holy combo with Bruno we are expecting when Pogba returns will not be a disappointment.
That would really be sad.
Let's just keep looking at the bright side though LOL the hype ehn. Na just to sidon look Meanwhile I'm not sure what's to gain from pushing either of Pogba or Bruno further back to assist in the CM, thereby pushing Fred to the bench. Well hopefully we see the team in action soon |

Digmygold: You cant find it doesnt mean its untrue. This country locked its land borders against its own citizens. I think Ghana too. I don't see any report stating that the citizens of Ghana requesting to be allowed back home are being denied. Countries are even organizing planes to bring back their citizens, especially those requesting to go back home |

afrodoc2: Pereira and Lingard might be leaving and the youth team midfielders are not ready so we might still need a midfielder to come in, but our priority like you said has to be a RW and a striker(if Ighalo leaves). I don’t think we need any changes in defence at all. I don't even count those ones again sef. |

afrodoc2: Another Bruno Fernandes? When we already have the original and Pogba?
We need a player like Giggs on the right side. The ultimate chance creator. For me we are settled in that middle unless we are looking to replace Matic who is not a creator. We just need a RW that likes to create chances and we are good to go. If Ighalo is not staying, then another striker We have Tom, Fred, Matic, Pogba and Bruno already in the midfield. Unless any of them leaves, we are OK there |

That amount they are quoting is too much. If Kane is going for a bit half of that, we won't be having this discussion. Sanchez is still on 350k+ weekly |

gensteejay: You can't understand why an atheist or an irreligious person feels using the brain comes first before any other things. Unlike a typical Muslim or a Christian that puts holy books first.
Exactly 2 years ago, I left religions upon reading a series of books on history of religions.
The years one wastes in worshipping a god is appaling. When you can use that time to read key books to gain knowledge and enlightenment.
Since I became irreligious, I have read many books from diverse philosophies and religions and have become more knowledgeable.
Wish I had left much sooner; I would have put the brain to much better use and gained a lot of deep (esoteric) knowledge.
Religions put you in a box. I'm wondering who/what you will blame in 5 years time just as you're blaming religion for how you have used your brain these past years. Millions others who are actively religious and have gone ahead to achieve great things, they were probably pretending to be religious lmao |

gensteejay: Yes, it's not a coincidence that "Easter" and "Ishtar" look similar.
People that know how to trace roots of names and know histories can trace many names and religious concepts to their roots.
Resurrection of a deity was a common phenomenon in ancient religions of many cultures.
The phenomenon didn't start with Jesus Christ (who is Yeshua in reality).
Ishtar, Vishnus, and many other gods and goddesses, worshipped in old religions, were higher beings that could come back to life in a new body after their death.
Easter celebration has its roots in Old Religion (paganism).
About identifying the roots of a name, almost all concepts in Abrahamic religions, and many names of people generally can be traced to a deity.
Hell is a stolen concept from the god, El, worshipped in an old (paganistic) religion. Jesus Christ is not a real personality as depicted in the Bible.
According to a book of history, the real person was a black man of an extinct human specie predating homo sapiens (whose race began from East Africa over 200,000 years ago).
The real name is Yeshua (Faulkin).
Yeshua = Yahweh + Eshu. Yeshua was a follower (son) of Yahweh, who is a friend to Eshu, a deity in Yorubaland.
Those 3 deities, along with Allah, were masters of magia. Many miracles in the Bible and Qur'an are works of magic (tricks of illusion). Nothing more than that.
(Though those entities are higher beings.)
Abdullah = Abd + Allah Sangotedo = Sango + tedo Israel = Isis + Ra + El (Isis was a goddess in ancient Egypt, Ur) Michael, Uriel, Raphael all are names of people that used to worship god El.
There are many other examples.
Religionists would always combine the name of their god with other things to form their name. This post long sha Anyways I guess we have to believe in the existence of some gods and reject some others as copycats |

gensteejay: I answered you using the same tone you used to ask the question.
I have read a number of books on histories of religions. So, I know that many aspects of Christianity and Islam were all copied from older religions, especially from ancient Egyptian religions.
The Internet is there for anyone that wants to learn these things.
Any genuine seeker of knowledge can find essential literature on these things on sacred-texts.com I'm just interested in this one thing. I believe there are many others here too who can learn from this. Is the celebration of isthar about the death and resurrection of the isthar god? |

Personally, these are core aspects of my own approach to life: use of the brain, science, history, philosophy and logic, holy books. You don't even know my position on this matter, you're already feeling attacked. Which of those core aspects gave you the boldness to make such claim as regards isthar and easter? Do you have any verified link one can use to read up assuming this does not involve your use of the brain core aspect? |
