Is it my fault that they can't do their job or that some recommendations are swept away? Which confidence is that na? Are you stating categorically without transmission that Pogba can't be replaced in our team? Are you saying its Pogba or no one else? |

dopeJemi: We won two with worse performances two seasons ago, the earlier we realize that Pogba is not the problem, the better. Is it chances that he doesn't create? Do you know that Matic had more errors leading to Goals than Pogba last season? That's if he had any sef, and this is from the back of my head. Our best football last season came when he was on the pitch, Even with injuries, being dropped, criticisms, he was still able to contribute 18 times to goals and assists, A midfielder. Is it until he starts posting same numbers as our strikers and attackers before we will see improvement? I'd rather see matic and every other midfielder we have at the moment out the door than Pogba and this is not about age now
Pogba has come out to openly criticize himself, this alone should count for something. Little wonder why De gea is the only one without fault in the team, because he is the only one doesn't play to Mourinho's tactics, we have all come out to criticize every outfield player under Mourinho, this should tell you that Mourinho is our main problem Two what? When I was typing that, I was going to add major trophies but I decided to leave it to anyone's interpretation. I'm not saying Matic is a better footballer than Pogba but based on last season, Matic was more influential and I don't expect anyone who watched our matches to debate this. There are other important things aside goals and assists for a midfielder on the pitch. You see this stats you're bringing up is what's confusing Pogba. Matic had more errors leading to goal because he played closer to our goal and he was more involved. I mean it's simple logic na. Let Pogba play that role in that position if you won't wish he does horrible death. When did Pogba criticize himself? Is it after he asked to be allowed to do what he likes or before? |

I wonder how many players we will need to buy to unlock him.....10? Modric is one of the best midfielders right now if not the best IMO but how many goals does he score that Pogba will be thinking it's all about goals as a midfielder. How many goals did KDB score sef? |

Eruditor: City were trying to win 100pts and Yaya was a liability in that dynamics.
He wanted to be playing consistently after the league was won but he is no Iniesta and he certainly is no Buffon.
Atleast, we all can agree that the cake saga happened before Pep or else, it would have been another racist excuse.
What I find amusing is how he came out to apologize to Pep (together with his agent Seluk) only to start mouthing off rubbish after leaving.
Was this supposed to tarnish the reputation of a manager who just achieved the winningest record in EPL history?
See snakes in a team, who celebrate when games are won but were secretly hoping City won nothing just so they could say "I told you so". How exactly is he no Iniesta or Buffon as regards their contributions to their different teams? |

You should have it in mind that we can't predict the Matic that will turn up next season. He's going to be on the decline from any time soon & hopefully it is gradual but what if it is rapid... What then? We buy a whole new midfield & start all over. I thought we bought Fred to ease off Matic? I heard he's more of a DM |

I don't know about what the board will feel or not feel, but based on last season, Pogba was just average nothing special. If he was in beast mode 5 years ago as long as he can't be consistent here after two years at United, it means nothing. We're not going to win anything with his current performance. There are only few guys alive that are irreplaceable in their teams and Pogba is not one of them. The name doesn't even have to be a big name before we know he can come in and do a better job than Pogba |

Satisfy me with the list oo What happens if his gets injured for 6 months or so, will that be the end of United or we won't be able to get someone to come in and do the job? I rarely mention names here because I don't have that time to follow players that are not in my club. I am not a scout. There are people that are paid good money to travel around the world to scout players. And you can't claim that there's no way Pogba can be replaced |

He stole my farewell with City, a club with beautiful fans. ‘I would have liked to leave with emotion of this club the way Iniesta [left Barcelona] or Gianluigi Buffon [left Juventus]. But Pep prevented me.’ Exactly! I wonder how people missed this. The way he got dismissed was not OK at all. He's one of the few City legends. MoR2: I do think eph12 is right, pep didn't let yaya get the appreciation he deserved he made it seem city can exist without him and would have done well without him. a final match for yaya would have been a good goodbye.
Pep almost did the same thing with Aguero -- cast him to the back side.
truth is pep doesn't know how to manage egos he may just only know how make them. Well City can exist much better without him lol |

SailorXY: I'm not comparing or defending anybody. Every player plays his part to varying degree every different season. There's nothing wonderful about this fact.
The clear point I'm making is that we have no midfielder better than Pogba, so if the goal is building a better team then we should be replacing bad with good & adding good with better. On paper nobody's better than Pogba in this our team but the reality on ground is not it. I'm not asking for Pogba to be sold off but I won't lose sleep if he does as long as he's replaced with quality. In summary he's not irreplaceable, as there are a couple of players that can come in, listen to the coach, put the team first and influence matches more. |

Many people expected that Yaya will be the first out. That was why Yaya and his agents went to attack him but Guardiola still kept him and extended him for a year on big wages Different clubs, different management, different expectations |

Yaya's anger is not even because of all these things you guys yapping about but that he didn't get the heroic send forth he believes he deserved. I wouldn't blame him, he has been one of their key players for a long time. |

raumdeuter: I actually think pep treated Yaya better than most expected. Many people expected pep to ship Yaya out immediately he landed at city given the way yaya and his agent were attacking Guardiola even before he entered Manchester but pep did not ship him out. Actually Guardiola extended his contract for another year.
So what type of treatment do you expect for a 35yr old Yaya at a top club.
If Yaya had been treated like Joe Hart a white British maybe you would have labeled Guardiola Hitler or like Schweinsteiger He couldn't have done that immediately. Yaya was arguably one of the top midfielders in the EPL and was unplayable in beast mode. I think the reason most fans didn't raise an eyebrow about his situation last season was for two reasons : his age and the fact that City was doing very well in the league |

JayKayMaybachz: Today's Rumours and News
All the latest Manchester United transfer rumours, with updates on their pursuits of Marco Verratti and Bordeaux's Malcom.
Manchester United could bring in a pair of Ligue 1 players over the summer as they lead the race to sign Paris St Germain's Marco Verratti and Bordeaux's Malcom, despite keen interest from other top European clubs, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Mourinho is looking to recruit a top-class replacement for Marouane Fellaini if the Belgian continues to reject a new deal. United are being linked with a bid of between £75m-100m for Italian international Verratti.
Diogo Dalot will have his Manchester United medical this week ahead of a proposed move from FC Porto, according to Sky sources.
Mourinho has been in the market for a right-back and looks set to land Dalot after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for the 19-year-old.
One signing Mourinho's side could miss out on is Borussia Dortmund centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos who is due to join Arsenal in a £16million move, the Daily Mirror reports. I don't understand that part. So if Fella decides to accept the contract offered by United, Mou won't sign a top class midfielder? |
