Now that we've seen these drone views of cities in both the West and East, when can we see those of cities in the North?

Kano would be a good choice, large city as it is.

Have our leaders even begun to think of these kinds of schemes?

Do they have the capacity to think up solutions to enhance the lives of the populace without tying it to kickbacks from contracts?

What exactly do Nigerian leaders do?

As long as key appointments are not made based on merit, the wrong people in the wrong places will continue to hold this country down.

N1000 per attendance. These guys keep forgetting it's their future they are trading away for peanuts.

Just this morning we read about Abacha's son suing for FG for ownership an oil bloc. They should remember to hold a rally for him as well.

Completely agree. Classic case of monkey dey work, baboon dey chop.

Meanwhile these Northern thieves only steal for their immediate families, the region still remains the least developed despite all the Presidents and massive looters they've produced. People must continue to speak out against these bloody thieves.

The Abacha's family stole billions of dollars from the coffers of Nigeria, in a sane environment, these idio.t that is suing the government will be in jail, all the assets stolen by his useless late father & cronies will be confiscated but because Nigeria is a zoo where anything goes, he has the audacity to even talk about suing despite all the atrocities perpetrated by his useless late father who is resting in pieces in the grave sad

Wouldn't blame him, when the number 1 citizen of the country has assured them and publicly proclaimed that their family / evil dictator of a dad did not steal, what would you expect?

This is where i expect the Niger Deltans to be more vocal. Imagine a man from the North fighting to claim an oil well in the Niger Delta

Nigeria is a big fraud.

Mohammed Abacha should be facing corruption charges but the Northerners are Saints

They have no shame, this particular family.

It is just totally wrong on all levels that an individual (who is not even from the Niger Delta) is fighting for ownership of an oil bloc. How did this anomaly occur?

Caseless:
They don’t want us to talk about the 14 solar power projects that have been licensed to boost electricity supply in the country; the Mambila power project which will soon leave the drawing board and the many Chinese projects including the standard gauge railway.

“This country has more important things to talk about instead of dwelling on trivia.”

Shehu said the price of a bag of fertiliser had reduced from between N9,000 and N10,000 to N5,500.

He said only 58,000 tonnes of rice were imported in 2016 against 1.2 million tonnes of rice imported from Thailand in 2014.

“As a result of the country’s growing rice production, assisted by the decision of the government to deny foreign exchange through the Central Bank for the importation of rice, parboiled rice mills in some Asian countries are shutting down production because Nigeria, one of the world’s largest importers, is not buying.

“Five of such mills in Thailand servicing Nigeria have stopped production due to the withdrawal of our patronage.

“Currently, government is watching with keen interest the growing investment in rice milling by the private sector and will continue to give encouragement through the Ministry of Agriculture to such efforts by BUA Industries in Jigawa, Dangote in Kano, OLAM and WACOTT in Nasarawa and Kebbi and what a consortium of businessmen led by a former governor in Anambra State are doing.

The increase in the volume of rice production and processing is already saving this country a lot of money,” he added.

Thanks for getting back. Note, this is one example you have mentioned - and you earlier stated they are many, so I will be expecting the rest.

Now back to this one, this post above states that due to increase in local rice production, 5 mills in Thailand have already stopped production (this has to be verified by a Thailand source mind you because I will not take the words of any Nigerian govt aide, as they do not live in Thailand and can claim anything) - my question is this, the price of rice has doubled in the last 2 years since this administration took over, so how come the "increased production" is not leading to a reduced cost? How can Nigerians be happy if they are paying a far higher price for a staple product consumed in most homes? Until Nigerians can buy rice at a competitive / affordable price, I am sorry but I would not count this as an achievement.

2. You are in the category enjoying the the rapid response of this force people

I am not.... And a lot has happened on that bridge in regards suicide and no body from rss was even close so don't tell me what I know sir.... The whole thing is for show in the case of the doctor.... This is Nigeria... We all know how it goes

I don't fall into either category, sorry.
If you are going to accuse the agencies, then provide evidence, rather than claiming 'This is Nigeria '.
Until you provide evidence of when an incident occurred AND they did not respond, stop the pull them down syndrome. Years ago, there wasn't even a Rescue agency.

Why wouldn't the RRS care even if it's a vulcanizer? Why not wait till that happens before jumping into conclusions?
All the incidents that have occurred on this third mainland bridge, the RRS have responded (as they should), let's stop criticising our agencies needlessly unless they give us cause to do so.
