I am a businessman and i know what am talking about, You don't make profit everything and that's the risk of doing business..

Yes indeed.

Risk of doing business has nothing to do with "businesses are meant to rise and fall"

Businesses which have waxed stronger year on year, Procter & Gamble, Coco cola just to mention a few show that businesses are not "meant to" fall.

They are meant to thrive!

I dint get you boy, as a Businessman you prepare for both gain and lost.. Since Dangote have been making huge profit did he announce to Nigerians?

I'm not a boy, and you obviously do not get the point at all. Quite unfortunate.
I can also bet you have never run a business before, because if you had, you wouldn't ever make that statement that businesses are meant to rise and fall.

The people without children who are in dire economic state are MOSTLY children of people born decades ago without planning for feeding and for future, get it right.

If Nigerians started planning their offsprings from time with provisions for what they can immediately afford there will not be millions (not thousands) in poverty!

I see your point with regards to people have children they can cater for, but to assume that is a total cure for poverty is getting it wrong. Even China with the 1 child policy still has its poor areas.

Nope, Nigerians having children they cannot feed has finished themselves with hunger.

I have the exact small number of children I can feed so no hunger in my house, Buhari or not!

That is you. There are several other people even without children who are in a dire state in Nigeria. Let's stop using our individual circumstances as a yardstick for the general populace. Poverty is very real to several people right now.

Very sad hearing stories like these, particularly children having to witness such violence on a regular basis.

OP, you've done the right thing, you've done what you should. Now that the woman has packed out, the man can focus on bringing up the children himself.

In a sane society, you will see leaders deliberating on matters that affects the well being of their citizens. But in Nigeria it's an avenue to drink, take pictures and discuss contract sharing. Am sure many Nigerians don't know the agenda of the last FEC MEETING. It's a shame to our country as a whole. This government is yet to tell us what measures they have, to take the country out of ression or soon depression. Cost of living is still high. Our currency has little purchasing power. We want to see a FEC meeting where what was discussed previously has positive impact on the lives of every Nigerians and not just the So called Elite.

Since you are part of Fec

You have really bastardized the meaning of the word Patriotic. Please stop misusing that word, it's a honorable word, not to be used anyhow.

Back to FEC, so you didn't get my point that we are not interested in the pictures but rather an overview of the discussion? Issorait.

According to Com Enudi Marcus,National President,SAVE NDOKWA NATION GROUP,information gathered from their brethren in Beneku,Ndokwa East,Delta state, has it that the only "pontoon" that ferries people across the river is very bad now, works half day in,three days out.No standard bridge except wooden bridge despite oil/oil companies being present in the area.

See screenshot of what he wrote below

They should continue waiting for oil companies to do everything for them. Since when did oil companies become the government?

They should go and hold their governor, local council chairmen and the rest of them.

Oil coys already pay taxes, pay royalty, implement Community Service initiatives, etc etc, what is the govt doing with all the revenues?

This country is just becoming even more corrupt with each passing day - starting from the very top Mr Buhari, when the head is rotten, the rest of the body will follow suit.

What should we do with FEC photos?

Are we serious in this country at all? What were the main points discussed, what actions have been agreed, what are the implementation plans? Are those not things that should be up for debate rather than posting photos, who photo epp?

In other countries, key policies are being analysed, here we are posting photos. Rubbish. angry

Nigerians are going through so much pain due to this inept govt.
How on earth can you punish people due to the failures of others .
that means the custom men don't even need to do much work in the borders ,all they have to do is wait on the road and impound unsuspecting Nigerians vehicles.

that is too bad. why are they wastinf our resources on them then.

Exactly. Which is why this policy DOES NOT make sense. Why can't the Customs do its job? Why create another avenue for Nigerians to be made liable for what they shouldn't be?

you have the support of the president after failing in your duties to protect the sea ports and land borders including connivance of your men with smugglers all you could come up with is reap off unsuspecting Nigerians and ask them to pay your institutions ineptitude.

How many of your officers have you laid off due to these smuggling?

How many have you convicted?

Very soon criminals in the name of security agencies will stand on the road and be molesting Nigerians.

Since the inception of this fake change govt Nigerians have been paying un bargained fees or the other.

It's been a "change" full of pain for Nigerians. No single good thing this government has achieved, only hikes and negative policies.

Please tell Atiku to manage his many enterprise. We are tired of recycling heads of states and Vice Presidents.

Africa my Africa, a poem by John Pepper Clark

Oh, thought it was David Diop. Beautiful poem nonetheless

Africa my Africa
Africa of proud warriors in ancestral savannahs
Africa of whom my grandmother sings
On the banks of the distant river
I have never known you
But your blood flows in my veins
Your beautiful black blood that irrigates the fields
The blood of your sweat
The sweat of your work
The work of your slavery

Africa, tell me Africa
Is this your back that is unbent
This back that never breaks under the weight of humilation
This back trembling with red scars
And saying no to the whip under the midday sun
But a grave voice answers me
Impetuous child that tree, young and strong
That tree over there
Splendidly alone amidst white and faded flowers
That is your Africa springing up anew
springing up patiently, obstinately
Whose fruit bit by bit acquires
The bitter taste of liberty.
