Politics / Re: El-Rufai Warns Buhari In 30-Page Memo by eph123(f): 3:40pm On Mar 16, 2017
THE MEMO:

"In very blunt terms, Mr. President, our APC administration has not only failed to manage expectations of a populace that expected overnight ‘change’ but has failed to deliver even mundane matters of governance outside of our successes in fighting BH insurgency and corruption,” he said in the 30-page memo, which was a follow-up to an earlier one he sent to the president.

I am proud of him, When is the uniform the yard stick of judging performance?

Please stay out of my way, you were not the one I quoted.
Why can't students wear mufti to school since "uniform is not a yardstick of performance" as long as they are performing well. See reasoning.

What is there to respond to? The president better put his kitchen cabinet in order. It is unheard of that an agency directly under the control of the president can deliberately be undermining the decision of the president. Daura and other cohorts are not bigger than the president. Buhari should wake up and not allow them hijack his government.

Wow. Surprised this is coming from you.
There is truly hope indeed.

is uniform the priority now or the man behind the uniform? The senate committee on finance are obviously angry with this man cos he is not corrupt n has refused them the normal tip off as usual.

There are rules in every society and organisation. If he cannot abide by the stated rules (which have existed before him by the way), he should feel free to step down.

Exactly Islam is a troublesome religion causing trouble all over the world imagine Isis and Boko Haram
Islam should mind their religion. Everyone has human rights which entitles them to their own religion therefore choose your religion and don't disturb other people that have different religion
Muslims should leave christians alone and not disturb us

Exactly.

But they refuse to understand or practice that fundamental statement. Respect others.

More lives have been lost to Christianity than to any other religion

All the suicide attacks from 911 to the ones in Nigeria and across Europe, Syria and other countries, pray tell how many Christians were involved?

Of course I support anything that moves the nation forward collectively.

Thank you, that's all that matters. Because at the end of the day, we all bear the brunt, the politicians are more than comfortable where they are.

The question is what EXACTLY has he achieved so far to even warrant a consideration (assuming his health permits) in 2019?

What tangible achievement can APC & Buhari point to?
- Successful conviction of looters? No
- Constant electricity? No
- Security? No
- Economy? Big resounding no!

So please what exactly qualifies him for 2019?! ??

What a shame. This is what governance has been reduced to in Nigeria. Very soon it will be cabin biscuit that will be given out.

Dishonourable disgraceful bunch of leaders that Nigeria has, right from the top to the very bottom.
Able bodied people queueing for N200, less than 1 dollar, this is a strong thing.

It is just for a while. Nothing last forever.

I always say it that money earned in such way never amounts to anything tangible in the life of the collector.
All of them collecting money or benefits in any form just to suppress the truth whilst the average Nigerian is facing hardship cannot achieve anything tangible no matter how much they collect. It's just a statement of fact. For now let them continue.

grin grin grin grin BECAUSE BUHARI HAS ATTAINED THE SUPREME AND HIGHEST OFFICE OF THE land !!! TWICE grin grin grin

It is only in Nigeria that attaining a post is an achievement in itself.
What impact did he make during the positions, zilch? He attained the office twice and his region is still struggling with high poverty rates, high levels of illiteracy and insurgency. He attained the office twice but can't point at anything he achieved. So please what is the point?

Wake up!

professional Nigerians abroad are respected cos they exceptionally prove themselves in their respective fields. Why must we hire foreigners to run our contracts? Even installation of governor's toilet are awarded to foreigners. When will we stop disenfranchising our brothers from the fruit of our fatherland? All these Lebanese and Arabs they hire to run our contracts steal our money and they do not complete any contract. Nigerians are more experienced and educated to undertake all these positions. Why can't our brothers be given the privileges they deserve?

Thank you. You've said it all.
