So far he is leading us well, we are good to go. By the way, what solution have you guys found to the one who has been milking you dry in Abia from the time immemorial?

If the resources of your respective states were being managed effectively by PDP in the past 16years, I believe you won't stay conviniently in another man's land and be crying foul play.

We know all politicians are thieves, but Tinubu gives us a clearer ways of fighting the lawlessness and incompetencies of ruling party in a democratic way.

Tinubu|! the major thorn in the flesh of PDP since 1999.

Where is APGA, the real Ojukwu's party if you truly want to prove your allegiance? This is how you run out of your respective states that are lagging behind in terms of development and still be an additional burden to the states being developed by parties towards which you portrayed your hatred.

Ibos marginalizing themselves and still be crying marginalization since 1960...

Where were U wen Asari was threatening that Southwest and north shall be turned to ashes if GEJ looses? Was justice on strike then? The question you are supposed to ask yourself is that what are the rights, amenities, and entitlements that Yorubas youths are enjoying in Lagos that other tribe's youth are being deprived of?

Politicians are just playing on your sensibility gain political vote and your dull brain fails to recognize this despite the high level of civilisation.

Very shameless yoruba man. Lagos maybe in SW however very different from Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Oyo, Ogun and Ekiti in that 80% of taxes and duties paid into its coffers are by non yorubas...keep that in mind. When next you see Fashola commissioning a project...say big thank you to the non yorubas who are funding it through their taxes and duties. You think Lagos can function without them? You people should be very careful how carelessly you speak. Also say big thank you to the Niger Delta for your behemoth monthly allocation...you think you can survive without this handout by generous Niger Delta people? Speaking as a Niger Deltan, the day you Yoruba will marginalize any non yoruba in Lagos, be prepared to lose your federal monthly allocation and non payment of taxes and duties by non Yorubas...let's see how you will survive. You think Lagos would have attained its current economic and social status without nom yorubas and federal character? You want one Nigeria, you must abide by every law that glues us as Nigerians.
Why can't you settle in your paradise of oil with huge monthly l allocation? Has Nigeria not been surviving before oil discovery? What are those things Yorubas are enjoying that you are being deprived of as IBO in Lagos?

All I see in your post is big head with naive thinking..

As I will always say - "Jonathan accepted defeat willy-nilly when it was obvious that everything has worked against him". Did he has any other option than this after the announcement of GMB has a winner? Even the appeal court he will head to is headed by Hausas.

May be he has come with dollars again: it didn't work in the past and it won't work this time around again. Let's wait and see as the drama unfolds.

I have seen the same experience on Lagos Ibadan Express road before getting to Alausa last year. Aboki carried two passengers and they ran into incoming vehicle bleeding seriously.

Trust Lagosians, nobody waits. The irony of the scene was that the vehicle they used was still on after falling down.

Fashola banned them on highways and restricted Okada plight to some areas, but we were the same people shouting he has done damage: some parties have even gone to the extent of using it against him to score cheap political point during electioneering campaign. Go to Igbobi and see how many lives have been rendered useless through this same okada.

The question to ask is - is it Fashola's son the one I am seen inside this pics? Nigerians and our naïve way of thinking.

Though the only thing that unite Ndigbos is "tribalistic arguments" and "better than thou" beliefs, but the opposition plays a vital role here to be candid: they see it a an opportunity to gain more political ground.

As civilize as Nigeria is today, how can I take a statement like "Southwest and North will be burnt to ashes if Jonathan is not re-elected" from Asari Dokubo? The most disgusting part of it is that some Ibos elites took the statement as if it is CIC that uttered it. Has Yorubas even take their Obas serious in this era?

Ndigbo are just using this medium to further portray their hatred for APC, my own opinion though.

When i talk I just feel sth restraining my vocal cord
My movement is also not leftout, I just feel like I am not the one moving and thereby becoming absent minded.

Also when am about to talk to someone I feel like sth is in my head, my eyes will get dry, I get a feeling of mouth of odour all these block me from passing info thereby leading to BLACKOUT.

My public speaking is not also leftout. I feel pressured all arnd my body wen I am about to speak
I don't know if there's any one here that can help please embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed I don't want my life and career to be ruined just because of this.
Dear Akinwumi,

I have been in your shoe and my situation was worse than yours when I was in school too, despite the fact that I was among the best students in my department as at then. I could have not known the solution to offer, but I am delighted to learn that you were still in school studying: this means you still have 100% means of overcoming this predicament. As at then, I was timid and very hesitating in the choice of words to the extent that I cannot face a single person when communicating.

If you are an introvert like me, it is normal. But guess what! I overcame this problem successfully to the amazement of even my father, colleagues, and relatives. But mind you, I took some steps which I would like to underscore here. I know you are brilliant and comfortable when it comes to written skills, but lags behind when it comes to public speaking, but you will be astonished that I became the best student when it comes to public speaking in my department within three months.

The best solution in my own opinion is for you to avoid limiting your learning to the four walls of classrooms. In school, try to take up leadership roles even if it is a course/football/classroom captain: there is nothing hindering you from becoming a legislator or President whether at your departmental level or at SUG level. This will force you to face people, address, socialize, and communicate often.

Let me use my own situation as an example. I was so talented when it comes to academics to the extent that the scholar of my set knows that I have something upstairs more than him during my undergraduate days without recognition. Unless mandated, I will never stand up to answer any questions being asked by the lecturer even with 100% assurance of knowing it. I can be inside my room for complete three days if there is power supply on the first hand, while I can stay within a room for one week if this is coupled with good "old school" music on the other hand.

I was wallowing in this predicament when some drama started unfolding: firstly, I was among those who were chosen to represent their department when the SUG election is to be conducted. Come and see how I was flourishing among my peers when debating issues though my response will either be so sort or whispered to the ears of the person sitting next to me to be communicated. But with the passage of time, I have stepped up within the shortest period of time. From there, I became the Secretary of the body in that year and the election just ended.

On getting back to my department, my colleagues noticed a little change - my leadership and communicational skills has greatly improved. As a result of this, I was nominated to go for the Departmental President willy-nilly despite the fact that two of my mates have been in the race for the past two years.

D-day comes, I worn the election with two days of campaigning with great margin to my personal astonishment. By occupying this post, I have to meet students during electioneering campaign, I have to face them and communicate to ascertain their expectations: I have to prepare speech during induction ceremony for freshers, during sport I motivates, during debates I repose confidence, and during inter-departmental meetings, I argues. In the end, my department was awarded the best department on campus as at then.

This was how I came out of my shell up till date and it has been extra-ordinary: though the traces of being an acute introvert is still traceable in me up till date.

In short, Practise! Practise! and Practise! speaks without fear of being wrong: perfection is not attainable within a day. Also, some books were helpful then though I might not be able to remember them in-to-to:

1. The virile leader
2. Why you act the way you do
3. How to make friend and influence people by Stephen Covey

God bless you.

Op...its nice that you are acting maturely by not joining issues with your wife and keeping malice. Its always an honorable thing to say "sorry" just to avoid quarrels.

I've discover people don't really change...they get better or worst at who they are. So if she was stubborn @ Dating...she will continue with that attitude especially if you have overlooked it before marriage...(when u were still 'Love Blind"wink

Way Forward:

To be a Man you just have to be the man. Women are like Children, to be @ peace with them YOU MUST use the "Carrot and Stick " approach.

Be Firm and yet gentle with her.

Lastly communication is the KEY.
You have made a valid point here. But to be candid, this dude has tolerated what he is not supposed to tolerate during courtship. He overlooked some things that needed to be corrected all in the name of love. Love is not blind, it is we human being that blindfolded ourselves.

Man must be man anytime, anyday.

See how PDP dey collapse like a house build with sand everyday: every time.

Can't dey just form a strong opposition like Tinubu has been doing for the past sixteen years?

Though Tinubu is a thief, but I will always remember him for being the thorn in the flesh of PDP throughout 16 years: he makes the game more interesting.
