ndcide: If that's true, it was because the girls were within.
If it wasn't political, the girls would have been found. The girls were in the city centre,.. Where there's SOE and the security at strategic positions, it will take syndicates in government, in collaboration with security and locals for it to happen.
Indeed, If all these was to have power go to the north, it is not worth it. That, I agree with. The last has not been heard of this saga. |

delpee: The negotiation process was aborted a few times. It actually started during the time of GEJ. He made some effort (as confirmed by one PDP official recently) which didn't yield much fruit. It's unfortunate the first release happened much later than expected. Oh okay. I clearly remember the first one week, the govt was denying it occurred and then when the pressure mounted they started the process of investigating. The whole thing has been shrouded in a lot of mystery and I believe a number of things are being covered up. |

LastProphet: i voted buhari but this chibok issue is curious, how come no chibok girl was picked anywhere else except when its time for negotiations? why were they kept together and how did such large number evade discovery for 3 yrs? there are lies somewhere Plus the timing. Why is it that each year, it's always few weeks to May 29 that these girls are released? It's just too "neat" an arrangement. I initially believed the whole chibok kidnap and was pissed when GEJ was gallivanting about rather than addressing it immediately it occurred. But the antecedents of this current govt have shown they are not to be trusted a single bit, particularly with their desperation for power. |

wristbangle: One thing I realise is that when it comes to money sharing, looting, corruption and other shady deals, tribalism/religion difference would be put aside as polithievans will squander everything without leaving a Kobo for the masses to enjoy.
This 125 billion allocation for National Assembly will end up in arewa, oduduwas and biafra men pockets leaving aggrieved masses to fight each other on social media and real life.
I pity those who support these crooks passionately without financial/social/basic support from them Cough cough. Look at who is talking. Pointing one finger, forgetting the remaining four are pointing back, hehe. |

seguno2: That is why the oyinbos are far ahead of us. Random people among them start on what is needed and others join rapidly until government takes note and does their bidding. Oyinbos, individually, are not more intelligent than us. No. We outshine them in their schools. We are only too engrossed in Me, I and Myself to the detriment of our society's well being. Meanwhile the well being of our society makes it easier for our individual peace and prosperity. Hmmm, I completely agree. I get your point. |

Feraz: I just tire for people. When Jonathan conceded defeat, people moved on as he refused to pursue it. They also forgot that when PMB won the election, some Igbo elders went over to visit him and congratulate him, telling him how they will work with him while there were people here on Nairaland mocking the Igbos for trying to show support despite majority not supporting him. No one said anything as we all decided to work with him.
Bam!!! Came the interview of 97% - 5% dichotomy, the numerous appointments and some utterances. And the fears many nursed was playing right before their very eyes. I actually remember that thread. Buhari has shown his true colours without question. Very bigoted human being. Which is the key reason the country is where it is, selections are not made based on merit or capability but "my people" syndrome. The man is a huge error which Nigerians have realized rather late. |

Continue defending buhari, while his folks keep denigrating you. Guys, where is your sense of honour and self-respect? https://www.nairaland.com/3791114/osinbajos-security-team-changed-guardedWith this comment coming from Some Yorubas Christians. If I am Buhari (and God give me health) to go 4 second term, I will choose a SS or SE vice president and let's see what will happen. Stupid people.
Buhari has put northerners as service chief, before na your father u want may him put. Useless.
Upon all what Buhari has done to you, you gat the mouth to insult him. The same Almajiri rule your father, now ruling you, and Almajiri shall rule your children. And there is nothing you can do to stop that.
Mumu Alade.
You're more illiterate than the Almajiri. Because he is your teacher presiding over the affairs of the state. |

seguno2: WHO will make it more accessible? Who has the GREATER interest to make information more accessible? Do you agree that those who will benefit the most from information being more accessible should find ways of achieving that? Hmm, I see your point but if we are being practical here, who for instance will create a website with the names of councilors per local govt area? Certainly, a random person off the street cannot do that because he wouldn't have the info for most of the other areas. Some things have to start from whoever is in the leadership position. |
