Silver-gilt mummy mask of Queen Malagaye, from her tomb at Nuri pyramids northern sudan. about 600-560 BCE.
Oh man, I got up to study and here I am glued to your thread. Ababda, who built the Pyramids? You see, each time I see the word pyramid, the Pharoahs and Egyptians come to mind. Seeing that Sudan is next to Egypt, do you think it's a possibility that the Egyptians built the Pyramids in Sudan and other countries near Egypt?
PoliticsRe: Can A Foreigner Become President Of Nigeria by Epi(op): 4:08am On Nov 28, 2009
becomrich,:
It depend on what you mean by Foreigner. Is michelle obama a Foreigner. Since her great grandparent were from there. I can tell you. If michelle obama join the 2011 election , she would beat yar adua . Is that not true.
PeeDaVinci:
Abacha's father was from Chad, and the Abacha's link to Chad is still intact till date
back2back:
Lugard was a briton!
In this case, my definition for foreign is:- a non-Nigerian with Nigerian roots.

Ok, let's assume Abacha and Lugard (both born in Nigeria) are my great-grandfathers. Is it possible for me (a non Nigerian/born outside Africa) to run for President of Nigeria? Taking into consideration, my grandfather and father were born in Europe but I attended school in Nigeria.

Do I stand a chance of winning the Presidency or there are laws forbidding me to run for President?

FamilyRe: How Will A Lady Know If She Was Circumcised? by Epi: 11:15pm On Nov 27, 2009
I think America is against women being circumcised. One of my African friends who was illegal had a baby here in the USA. Immigration was about to send her back home and she told them "they will circumcize her baby girl back in Gambia" Guess what? she is here and got her greencard lipsrsealed undecided Sounds silly but its true

Time to end this barbaric practice angry angry

Shawangunk Mountains

The Shawangunk Ridge, also known as the Shawangunk Mountains or The Gunks, a ridge of bedrock in Ulster County, Sullivan County and Orange County in the state of New York, extending from the northernmost point of New Jersey to the Catskill Mountains.

The English name, Shawangunk, derives from the Dutch Scha-wan-gunk, the closest European transcription from the colonial deed record of the Munsee Lenape, Schawankunk (German orthography).

LiteratureRe: Did you Know and Great Inspirational Quotes by Epi(op): 9:18pm On Nov 27, 2009
Did you know. . .

. . . that today is the birthday of the Nobel Prize? Alfred
Nobel, inventor of dynamite, established the Nobel Prizes in
1895. The first such prizes were awarded in 1901. Nobel's last
will left approximately 94% of his worth to the establishment
of five prizes (physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine,
literature, and peace) to "those who, during the preceding
year, shall have conferred the greatest benefit on mankind."

Today's Inspirational Quote:

"Envy consists in seeing things never in themselves, but only
in their relations. If you desire glory, you may envy
Napoleon, but Napoleon envied Caesar, Caesar envied Alexander,
and Alexander, I daresay, envied Hercules, who never existed."

-- Bertrand Russell

Outstrip:
I used a belt when I was about 5 months pregnant with my first child. Similar to this but not as good. It depends on if you stay active when you are pregnant. It is not unusual to see a pregnant mother wearing this while she exercises at the gym. The baby is actually safe and mom can run away merrily on the treadmill
Thanks for the explanation, now I don't have to wonder anymore how those movie stars jog/run while pregnant
