Did you know. . , . . . that today, besides being Thanksgiving in the US (Happy Thanksgiving!), is the anniversary of the discovery of Tut's tomb (1922)? The tomb of the Boy King, Tutankhamen, was discovered in Egypt by Lord Carnarvon of England and Howard Carter of the United States. The find was called, "The greatest archaeological discovery of all time." ~~~ Today's Inspirational Quote: "Anything that we have to learn to do we learn by the actual doing of it, We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate ones, brave by doing brave ones." -- Aristotle |

Am like "gawd damn it, no matter how I try to stay away from this God forbidden site - I am coming back one way or the other ![]() |

"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." Albert Schweitzer "When asked if my cup is half-full or half-empty my only response is that I am thankful I have a cup." Did you know. . . , . that today is the Sierra Nevada Wagon Train Anniversary? In 1844, the Stephens-Townsend-Murphy wagon party became the first pioneer group to successfully take wagons over the Sierra Nevada. The Party, guided by the Mountain Man Caleb Greenwood, met a Paiute Indian named Truckee who showed them a route over a desert to a river that flowed from a lake below a pass in the mountains. ~~~ Today's Inspirational Quote: "If it's never our fault, we can't take responsibility for it. If we can't take responsibility for it, we'll always be its victim." -- Richard Bach |
ababda: For now, I'll put the question aside. Will catch-up after Thanksgiving. You are doing good! Keep it up |
