manmustwac: So how old is this planet according to the bible then 6 to 10'000 years? How can you say 4 billion years is "accurate"? Accuracy is relative, friend! |
webaplanet: Remains of astronaut legend Neil Armstrong buried at seaWhat a selfless statement! |
The scheming to kill the subsidy issue continues....or could this be a celebration of their "success"? |
Omexonomy: Sentiment aside if they have what it take to manage it to the best and benefit of nigeria they should be given the oppourtunityDid you say "IF"? Well, we already know they can't. We saw what they all were capable of in the times they were Presidents, Ministers, Chairmen of Parastatals etc.... It's all about cornering more of Nigeria....greedy gluttons, these! |
caseless: Op, nice one! America wil giv u democracy nd xpkt u 2 practice it xactly like dem 4getin d difrnce in cultur, envirnmnt etc, we'r havin wit dem. Demo'cy shld b practiced in tune 2 how it woks 4 us nd not how d US deem it fit.Wat woks dere myt not work hereHow do you mean? Friend, America does not shove their very brand of democracy down your throat! They expect you to do as China and others are doing in other areas - come, see, learn, take it back home, adapt it to your culture and apply! They don't expect you to come, see, go back and start acting silly back home... |
Hey, guyz! I thought we should look at our options here... |
Why am I not feeling for her and the likes? Well, because I know that life does not depend on working in a bank! Was she glued to that job? Why didn't she quit when she couldn't bear it no more? Someone would say she needed the money for the family, right? But who cares for the ones left behind now? As you lay your bed, so you definitely lie on it and a stitch in time always saves nine! |
Well, this is what you get when you have in-box thinkers occupying big offices! In modern times, countries develop by enacting policies and laws that reflect the reality of it's people and developmental phase. There's no way Nigeria can develop with the kind of policies these unreasonable occupiers of offices in Nigeria keep churning out! And then before you know it, the next CBN governor will come and introduce N10,000 note to 'correct' Sanusi's error and so on until we surpass Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe. |

Who says Sanusi is a scholar? Who says he's on course to restore Nigeria's financial system? Well, I've never trusted this guy's judgement. Every financial policy Sanusi has brought forth is trounced by simple economics and logic. OMG! Haven't we got better administrators in Nigeria? Here is how it will pan out: 1) Every single item the is sold in denominations of N5, N10 and N20 will sell for N50. 2) For items like 'pure water', and other low-cost sachet products, producers will have to stop producing N5, N10, N20 packages and re- package to minimum of N50. 3) Fares that cost N20, N30, N40 would become N50, those for N60, N70, N80 would become N100 etc 4) Among other things, the aim of the cashlight or cashless economy is defeated, since anyone can then easily carry a million naira(in multiples of N5000) without any qualms. 5) Bribery and corruption just become easier! We still have Ghana-must-go bags in the market, mind you. Soludo came up with a brilliant idea to shore up the value of our bastardized naira and was fired for it! Sanusi has come up with this strangulating policy, what will happen now? Will GEJ let him see it through? A better idea (considering that we don't spend coins in Nigeria (an attitudinal challenge we haven't been able to overcome so far), would have been to re-introduce the lower denominations (currently in coins) in paper forms, as someone mentioned earlier and allow the system to re-adjust itself (evidently downwards which will translate to better value for money). This is a no-brainer! Even without studying economics, I still know this for a fact. Someone's got to stop Sanusi! |
So dis girl fine for una eyes, eh? Mtewwwwww!!! |

Hmmm...Let's for a moment imagine that this (Cross River State) is Nigeria as a whole. And then the oil suddenly stops flowing! Little or no revenue after depending so long and so much on oil money....WHAT HAPPENS? What will Cross River do now? What would Nigeria do? |
This definitely cannot be true....the Brits are not as stupid as Nigerians! They would cry out if it were so, cos it doesnt directly benefit them. That man, Musdafalse is only saying indirectly that Nigeria will never fight corruption/embezzlement of public funds! |

Getting a good hotel room can be a big factor in determining how you enjoy a trip. Where you lodge will be determined by a few factors ranging from budget, location or destination to availability of hotel rooms. However, there are important questions you need to ask before actually booking a room. Here are five (5) questions you should ask to be sure you get the best room possible in the hotel of your choice. It is vital that you get the front desk clerk involved in choosing the best room for you and not letting the hotel booking system choose it for you. The clerk works permanently in the hotel and knows the make up of the rooms. You should make specific requests at the check in counter and ask for initial inspection if possible. The questions below are a good way to go about it: Is there wi-fi reception in this room? Gratefully, more and more hotels are offering in-room wi-fi connection for free. However, we are in an era of “get what you pay for”, hence, a free connection could also mean weak or spotty reception. Since wi-fi is broadcast via wireless routers located in hotel corridors, the rooms closest to the routers get the best reception. Front desk staffers often know which rooms get the most complaints about poor wi-fi reception, so they can actively search for a room they know gets a strong signal. Can I get a newly renovated room or one with a great view, a corner room, or a quiet room? Simply asking for any of the above gets the hotel clerk involved in choosing your room. These features don’t usually affect the room rate, so by asking, you are likely to get the best room for the price you are paying. How about an adjoining room? This is very important because you need some quietude. Noisy neighbors can distract you if you’re working, taking business calls or meeting with clients in your room. This is also an important request if you are a light sleeper. If peace and quiet is important to you, ask the clerk for a non-adjoining room, that is, one without interior doors leading to an adjacent room. Does this room have a well-fitted, well-lit desk and chair? Some hotels have desks in every room that are suitable for working. Some don’t. By letting the clerk know that you plan to work in your room, you are more likely to get a larger or better room customized and set aside for business travellers — maybe even one on a special club or concierge level reserved for elite level members of hotel loyalty programmes or those on specially negotiated corporate rates. How much will an upgrade to a bigger/better room or suite cost? Hotel desk clerks are in the business. They are weary of guests asking for something for nothing. But by offering to pay slightly more than your reserved rate, you could end up with a much suitable room. The amount you pay will vary based on how busy the hotel is, and how many higher tier rooms are available. You’ll never know how much it will cost to get an upgrade unless you ask… so ask! Like they say, “you never know”, you might be surprised! You may want to check out www.hotelsaffair.com for your online hotels and flight search service. It's a very convenient way of doing all these from the comfort of your home or office. |
