This is nice... There's sure room for improvement. But generally, well done. |
Bro, I'll advise you rephrase your post title. It is wrong and misleading. You are not a subsidiary or partner with Nairaland and shouldn't use such a title, it's criminal. Thank you. |
crowniran:Hmmm... |
pjamas:Bro, if you'll complain about your broke state and lifestyle please don't attribute it to a whole state. I am from Osun state and live there, Ile-Ife to be precise and I'm sure not asking for free services up and down. Whatever I can't afford, I don't venture into so I don't disrespect in the process. I wait till I can afford it and go for it. Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well. Thank you. |
What's with the "@ 18"? What has your age got to do with your work? Or you think the designs are quiet awesome for someone your age? Focus bro and do away with irrelevancies. There are younger people with way better designs. Work harder on your designs and they'll eventually pay off. Thank you. |
Barackmeringo:LMAO... Kindly take a trip to OAU and take a stroll round campus in the night, I trust this your perception of ladies in trousers will change. I'm more wary of ladies in gowns and skirts. It's easier to just lift up and do stuffs even in awkward and tight corners as compared to a pair of trousers. Initially I used to have a sort of respect for the skirt folks until I discovered why some of them wore it for night classes. Konji nah bastard. |
Different strokes for different folks. The issue of trouser on ladies was something to argue about like 15 years ago. This age, it's a norm. Different ladies with different body structure. Some will look better in a gown than in a pair of trouser while others might rock a tight skirt better than a gown. The deal is just to know what works with your body and stick with it. Fashion isn't about doing what others do, it's about being comfortable and looking good at the same time. Not forgetting the need to look decent in the mix. |
mzhorlah:Awwww... 1st time anyone is wishing me anything on here. Thank you. Wish you the same. |
Wuminity:Hmmm... I'm Feb 22... Some days difference. Nice to meet you though. |
Dude, why open multiple threads to show same paintings by you? Asides not being necessary, it doesn't help you either because nobody has time to be opening multiple threads by the same person. Put all your designs in one thread and help make this section organized. Thank you. |
Adufetohposh:Hi dear, whats up with you? How's work and family. Being a while. I'm hoping all is well. Be good, ciao. |
Archmage:Nigeria as a country and Nigerians as a people need a lot of education and enlightenment as regards startups and branding individually and as a pair. Even Nigerian designers that should saddle themselves with part of the enlightenment responsibilities are mostly ignorant and dwell in mediocrity. All they want to do is just make money with little or no consideration for the welfare of their client and his/her business. I'll be looking up similar articles around the web and bringing them here to at least play my part and share some knowledge. Thanks for your brilliant contribution. Really informative. |
When it comes to building a brand, business or personal, there are many elements that must be considered in order to assemble it correctly. Such elements are separated into two categories: intellectual and emotional. And while the intellectual elements should, by no means, be diminished, when you think about the power branding actively holds, it is the emotional elements that provide the connective tissue that we search for. Think about it. The affinity and equity of any brand are deeply rooted in how a person feels. That is why it is important, in the context of your personal brand, to discuss individual elements, the sum of which comprise the emotional category of branding. Integrity Principles mean a lot to people. Shared principles bring groups of people together to create networks and communities. The key here is being able to adhere to your principles, whatever they are. Such adherence is what builds your integrity and allows people to understand what kind of person you are. Furthermore, integrity provides the foundation on which you can stand your ground, something that we all should be able to do. Reputation Very much connected to integrity, your reputation is an element of your brand that you hold vast control over. When it comes to building your reputation, consistency is important. Please be sure not to confuse consistency with complacency. Consistency, in this context, includes steady growth whether it is from learning more, taking on more responsibility and the like. Constructing your reputation in this way helps build this next valuable element of branding. Trust This should be no surprise to anyone. Trust is something that we all want -- we want to trust those that we know and want to be trusted by them. Trust breeds affinity and loyalty. Trust creates the infrastructure for the element that we all want to achieve. And that is… Relationships We as humans naturally seek out relationships. We are social beings, so we look to acquire and retain relationships with people that are like us, that we like, that like us back and that we can trust. These relationships are part and parcel of what determines whether or not we are successful in life and it is difficult, if not impossible, to create this type of connection with someone else without integrity, reputation, and trust. Recognizing and realizing this fact will help you in your personal relationships as well as your business endeavors. It is the relationship that you build that allows you to become bigger, better, faster, or stronger. There is a saying that has often been attributed to George Bradt, “…people don’t buy products, they buy brands,” and while this was said about business, the brand elements listed above can easily show how this quote applies to personal branding as well. It’s just that, in this case, instead of a person buying, they are buying into you. For a personal brand, especially when referring to your career, that is exactly what you are looking for. MoscolexY:Bro... I'm not trying to degrade or start a competition with you. If you tried going through my profile, you would have seen and understood that we are in very different art fields. As regards my comment saying there's room for improvement... I don't think I said anything wrong. There's always room for improvement even if you are as good as pablo picasso. So take a chill pin on the arrogance and appreciate harmless comments. Thank you. |
What's the essence of you opening multiple threads with different works when you can just combine them all on a single thread? That way, you can name it your portfolio and it might even attract frontpage consideration. Or are you satisfied with the reception they are getting individually? Good job by the way, still lots of room for improvement. |
Donald3d:Honestly, I was just short of words. I almost doubted my own meaning of luxury, had to revisit the dictionary. All in all, if he asked for assistance, I'm sure my response would have been different. Hope you are having a better weekend than I am. |

Yes boss! |
You call this luxury? Like seriously? ![]() |
Jeez! My eyes are hurting already. Everything is wrong with the design, don't even know where to start from. |
emeralddayo:What's up dear? How have you been? Been trying your numbers but they are always switched off. Kindly send me your active mobile number on FB or my mail box. Thank you. |
2sexycom:Good morning sir, There's a reason I provided you with the link to this thread and it sure isn't for you to come make the same open offer. I expected you to go though the different pirtfolios, see designers that you feel will meet up to the standard you need and contact them. That will save you from being swindled by mediocres. Thank you. |
