It's hard to see anyone use an android anywhere there... Rubbish, the Samsung Z7 fold beats this in everyway, Have you seen its selfie tracking capability, or how it tracks you auto when you are on Vid call, look apple are struggling with the fold series, if they don't upgrade to fold, they will lose the market soo, Asia is Android. Europe is going same way too. |

SmartPolician: Sealing off a business? Yes, I understand it.
But what does sealing off an estate mean?
Does it mean that the residents (families) should relocate elsewhere? With whose money?
Why not fine them and give them a week deadline/warning to fix the mess or be charged to court with options of imprisonment and fines? They are doing this for show, how can you seal off a residential property, where do they expect the occupants to sleep lol 9ja are very funny set of people, are they going to mount security there 24/7 ? |

I think government should prioritize more in job creation, empowerment and a friendly environment for business more. Because without a healthy and working people, the nation crumble even with all the infrastructures that sometimes make no sense to them So the Road is done by robots, not human being paid right? |

Sin is sex before marriage, contraceptives or no condoms.
What about diseases and spiritual transactions?
May God help our youths to refocus on better things than sex before marriage in Jesus Christ name Amen. Must you lot bring religion into everything? You think pastors and religious leaders do not practice family planning? Una too dey over do for this Nigeria |

Kobojunkie: Back in the early to mid 90s, I met a pregnant 10-year-old girl when I went to spend vacation with an uncle of mine. Her mother was a full-time nurse and single mother who rarely had time to spend with her children since their dad was dead. Imagine the mother considering getting her child an abortion at that age? And in Nigeria at that?
Each child needs to be started as early as is necessary and healthy, and that is what parents are there for. Imagine that, tht could lead to depression on both sides. In the north those alamanjiri come about cos of this, |

novodecipher: To be honest we are not ready for this discussion.
First to avoid all these alien practice. I call it alien because I am more of a conservative person. I don't follow trend. You must be an intentional parent. If you have a girl child, you must a take a double dose. You've to be intentional of the environment you train your children, you've to be intentional about their friends and you must make out time to creat a strong bond with your daughters.
Now, remember that an apple doesn't fall far from the tree. If you know during your own time you were randy and have high libido. Their is every tendency one of your girls will inherit it.... In other to prevent it.... It's either you do the 'organic' way our ancestor used which the western world have demonized in other to sell their drugs to us that are killing our young girls today.
I know the will come after my post. But truth be told...it's better to practice FGM, to your girl child than this so called implants. It's safer, if they allow trained personal to do it.... But know, the have an agender ... They have criminalized it, and make it look like it's the leading cause of infertility in women, meanwhile it's the other way round.
As for me, it's all shades of wrong to allow a teen abuse her body with all this foreign body's in the name of implants. It's even better she gets pregnant...that might also be a turning point in her life, and most times, it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
Early use of contraceptives is the leading cause of hormonal imbalance which might eventually lead fertility complications. A word is of enough...if you like follow the woke people ..na premium tears FGM lol, now this is a criminal offence, if you are thinking about it stop it, someone went to jail in the UK for this as termed to be historic crime |

BodyCount: Take all your sisters to go put the implant. A secondary school pupil age now ranges from 11-17 , when you have your daughters and age of 11 to 17, take them to the hospital to fix the implant. Don't take yours ok, and when they get pregnant you take them to go do abortion which by the way is against the law. |

Kobojunkie: The implant is specifically meant for preventing unwanted pregnancies. STDs require additional protection, and that is why both boys and guys are handed condoms to use whenever they decide to have sex. Exactly, I don't know why this is hard to sink in. The age of having sex is going down every day a 14 year old can get a 13 year old pregnant, what do they expect both parties to do? |

Pacesetter123: I don't really think it's a backward reasoning as you said. The guy has some point there. Let's look at it objectively. If a man sleeps with this secondary school girls we are talking about here which are around 14,15,16 years old,say with the consent of their parents. Then the matter, through one way to the other gets to the government/law court, what do you think will be the fate of the man? Will the LAW says because the under age girl willingly submitted to the love affairs or and that her parents even consented to it that the man is not liable for any sentencing? The crux of the matter here is the age of consent. So, for the medical personnel and the parents who are adults that knows the position of the law on that to have aided and abeted the crime (yes, encouraging a minor to have sex is a crime), they are liable to prosecution. So the guy was,to some extent, right. Ok lets be objective, there is nowhere in the constitution of Nigeria where putting an implant in ones teenage daughter is a crime,. Now as far as there is a responsible adult there when this procedure is carried out. Now sleeping with a teenager under 18 as an adult is a crime. These are the two difference you 4got to take into consideration. This leaves us with a question of morality. Now morally speaking would you say by putting an implant in the arm of a female child encourages them to have more sex? If she was slightly older ie 20 would you see any wrong in it ? Morally speaking can you guarantee that not putting the implant on a teenage girl would make her not to have more sex? One thing that is a constant in these two context is this, She wont get pregnant and have unwanted babies. However not having this implant might lead to unwanted pregnancy. People had this same argument when the condom was introduce and the morning after pills where introduced. This discussions had been had 30 years ago in the Uk and its part of sex education. So we need more enlightment in this areas. |

You see this same way of reasoning was the reason older generation carried out female circumcision, They claimed if you cut off the clit it will lower sex drive amongst teens .but was that they case?? |

Biofil84: Am thinking so...cos sex and lot if it has a way of rewiring a woman's mindset.
I had a thing with a lady during Christmas period in south south and the the next year Jan she relocated from Lagos just to be close to me and never left until she travelled out. What you wrote up there did not address nor answered my question, What was put on the teen was a form of contraceptive aka family planning device. It simply stops females from getting pregnant. Ether you like it or not in this day and age girls will have sex, when is another matter, so taking the extra step not to have your child and grandchild living under your roof is a win w in.I simply asked, if she was in her 20s would your view be same? But If you are not yet a father this might be hard for you to understand. |
