TheAdvocate: The registration is not the problem. 1. Why do I have to go to their office for biometrics when my car documents and NIN can be verified?
2. Why must I pay 15k online for it? and
3. Why should I pay yearly to renew it?
The police are not a revenue-generating agency of government. Very correct. this is another indirect tax and remita is making money |

Exousiang01: When some of us hear about helps murdering their bosses in cold blood, or peeing in their pot of soup and we start asking certain questions, this is one of the many reasons.
On one of my many travels I was invited for breakfast at an old friends house, they had a help who was much younger than his last born but she was the one in the kitchen helping the wife, when breakfast was ready she was asked to go wake the children up, they all dragged themselves down about 10minutes later and mumbled greetings to me. We sat at the table and this little girl was the one serving even the wife, and while she was doing this the wife and children kept nagging, complaining and calling her names. I couldn't eat the food. Took my cup of coffee and returned to the living room. I later got to know that the little girl was the wife's niece. I Lost absolute respect for my friend. I will not go into a man's house to tell him how to run his home but how a man runs his home determines if we be friends, business partners or not.
One thing I must not is that the little girl in question remained calm and continued saying "yes ma" "sorry ma". Very gentle soul This is sad, this is the reason my Mum has enrolled the help she has into school, she is the child in the house since everyone has left home, she is seen as companion and the child in the house rather than just help. |

DatNiggaDaz: Dangote must obey the laws of the Land. Workers in the Petroleum industry must be allowed to be unionized.
Dangote is not above Nigerian Law. He must run his refinery within the jurisdiction of the employment laws in Nigeria.
He should never be allowed to have the say alone and monopolize the sector like he did in cement sector BY force? what of if Someone does not want to join? where I work you can join any Union you feels represents your feelings, or chose not to join. You are not forced as it cost 18 pounds each month. |

gbadexy: If you could grind sand, that would be good. Clay may cause cracking due to contraction after drying. It's reason why some plaster sands with high clay content cracks in plastering. Basically inert fillers, plasticizers and delayed drying admixture for better hydration and strength. It's carefully formulated mix with different functions. I think it would work if you could get grounded sand also since that would even react well with the cement Yeh true and ur plan sounds nicer |

assetnestrealty: It okay, to discuss things like this on this thread, especially in real estate. As the need to clear the wrong perspective that, real estate is for the rich,or elites, especially, among the masses today.
But,the question now is,what would we discuss, that will helo Nigerians understand that, real estate market is booming, and it's also benefiting both categories of individuals,in the country today, including low income earners, and the so called, wealthy or, elites.
What's your opinion? What part of real estate do you consider booming ? cos as it stands, its a market for the rich,by the rich for the poor |

bixton: If you say it doesn't matter then why do some bother when 4 X Y12 (if it's size alone that matters) is been used for columns for single storey buildings instead of 6 X Y12 or the standard 4 X Y16 ? What you said now is about size, what I responded to was quality not size, I was referring to its tensile strength. |

Is there anyone who can confirm that TMT is still what it is and has not reduced it's quality whatsoever?
Is TMT not done in Nigeria? I think this is less of an issue cos this is only to re enforce the straighten, even if you put stripes of bamboo it will serve same function |

free2ryhme: And what hunger are you even talking about? Was it poor beggars that queued up for that rice? These are the same people who voted in the government causing this hardship, let them face the hunger they chose. Your mates in Nepal are on the streets fighting for their future, yet you’re here defending rice-sharing like it’s some grand solution for the nation. You’re the one being completely unserious here. So you think a well to do person will go there and queue? would you or the likes of you go there to queue? You seem not to realize that Hunger is one of the fundamental issues we have in Nigeria |
