The 05 to 2010 pathfinder/frontier/xterra had the 4.0L V6 engine. The 05 to 07 was plagued by transmission failure due to a design flaw in the radiator (carlsonic). Most people using the 08 to 2010 never complained but to be on a safer side

1. you can either buy a new I mean brand new tear rubber radiator better if it's not the carlsonic and replace, that way you will have peace of mind for around 75000km or

2. Do a radiator bypass in which you will never have to worry till the vehicle is sold or rapture occurs.

It's a reliable vehicle better to buy the 3.3L V6 for good performance and engine response. but be mindful it's an off road SUV so not good on gas. I would advice you buy the 2001-04 pathfinder with the 3.5L V6 more luxurious than the xterra and better road handling and better mpg than the xterra

I called the sister of the guy I bought the car for last night because she was calling me then thanking me after buying the car for his brother. I told her she and her family should get ready for me by January that am arresting everyone in the hire purchase agreement including there in-law I was so furious in my tone never spoken to any of them in such a way before but really I have had enough she was pleading saying the in-law I was talking about is her husband I said better that they should all get there beSt lawyer and get prepared she was trying to calm me down but I was not taking it, I end the call one good thing they know about me is that I never say what I wouldn't do. Today the brother who sign as surety called me this afternoon saying he is with the mechanic that hIs phone was faulty all this while That please he don't want trouble that I should not invite the police he knows his brother is at fault he wants us to fix a date in January we all meet at the mechanic and settle I told him to give the mechanic the phone he greeted me I then asked him why is he not picking my calls all this while he was mute never uttered a word regarding my question he passed the phone back to the owner.. The guy I bought the car for called me as well after 6months of being in ghost mode seriously people are wicked..

Bought Bianco fan white color the battery last for 3months and it became weak could not last and hour without light,how durable is the battery any warranty on the battery that it will last a year?.

Here is my own honest opinion:

1. Just inform the police (prepare to pay some small money at the station for complaint and stuff),
then, make the police realize that you are recovering your vehicle back from the Oyingbo mechanic.

2. Goto the mechanic shop at Oyingbo alongside a police officer and recover your car back but have someone use a smartphone to snap you and the police officer at the shop as you recover back the vehicle.
Also, draft a sort of document where you will sign,
the mechanic shop owner will sign,
and if possible a witness will also sign at the mechanic shop.
This will prove that you legally recovered your vehicle back because the hirer violated:
Paragraph (4) of the hire purchase agreement by not remitting any week's payment yet to you as initially agreed.

3. Settle the policeman with any small tip for coming with you then,
Tow your vehicle back to your own house.

4. Don't bother calling the hirer's brother or the hirer himself anymore, it's of no use.

5. Now decide what you want to do with the vehicle, either find a way to sell it off in that current condition or repair it from your purse and be using it for commercial hire. (It's all left for you to decide)

Reason for my above advice:
This is Nigeria, Let me give you some facts that I can categorically tell you from your story and my past experience:

a. The Hirer is a highly unserious man that is not ready to work for money, he rather just wants someone rich to be given him money for free and feeding him for free.

(I am a Christian and I understand that God wants us to always do good/favor to everyone, but my bible also teaches that whenever you are doing a favor and your inner mind is not happy or pleased with such favor anymore, just stop.)
Any favor you are doing but not happy about is not acceptable to God at that point.

b. At this point, the hirer is not making you happy anymore to be wasting your money in the name of doing him a favor. Such is life, and that's how some Lazy men are.

c. The hirer's brother is also in one way not encouraging and might actually be in support of all the hirer's attitude.

>>> Just do the needful legally, and try to overlook all the money the Hirer owes you + the money you have spent on repairs.
>>> Trust me, I don't see the Hirer as the type of person that can pay up his debts at all if you want to drag him to court.

------ Just let it go, if you can. Recover your vehicle back legally and think of what to do next.-----

If the same man comes back to beg you to give him the car after you have repaired it, PLEASE DON'T.
ELSE YOU WILL END UP IN THE SAME SITUATION OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
