I used Accra

I called and was told that for paper route, it is been processed in Lagos while for online then it's Ghana.

I've been living without my family for over a year now. My son keeps asking me on video call when I'm coming home. My daughter said they should turn off the video the last time I called. And I won't be spending the holidays with them for the first time. CIC should do the needful so that we can be together.

I pray for my case and that of others - there shall be a speedy answer before 2016 wounds up.

Just going through this thread now and I know how frustrating the wait is, and the worst is not knowing for how long.

Here is the timeline for my Wife, maybe it would give some of you some respite.

I submitted an open work permit app for my wife on the 23rd of April (online), Biometric on the 29th.

She was just asked to go do the Medical Exam on the 22nd of November. This is looking more like a 7 months process, a far cry from the 17 weeks shown on the website.

Hopefully this processing time reduces. E no easy.

thanks for ur advice but I have done that,i was asked to send Case Specific Enquiry to the embassy in charge which I thought was Accra until I called VFS Lagos this morning and was told Open Work Permit are reviewed in Nigeria.

Pls help me with the vfs lagos number.

Ghana is the right address...it's just that some peeps eliminate the writing of address on the SOP or invitation letter. The address shouldn't be an issue subject to debate.

SOP, spouse's vacation letter, and invitation letter were addressed to Ghana. I guess I'm old school then, because in the past we used to address these letters to Lagos.
