If wish were horses'....oniro oshi. He talked about same mambila in 2015 as Buhari's mouthpiece. When fashola was reiterating they'd complete the 2nd Niger bridge before Christmas, I knew it was a mirage. He came back on air and said the flooding around river Nigeria had hindered the completion. Thank goodness the flood receded in a matter of days and they were looking for another lie to tell Nigerians. He now came and said the sit at home ipob order made it impossible for the completion . Whereas, there had been sit at home for nearly 2 years now and construction workers weren't hindered due to the heavy security presence on site. Anyone traveling along that axis can relate. The lying spirit of the apc had engulfed BRF too. Its so courageous. I learnt Katisina-Maradi( Niger Republic)railway project is still ongoing in spite of the bandits' activities in Katsina but they could tell Nigerians the east railway to maiduguri had been stopped. Any southern candidate who thinks fulanis would vote him is merely chasing shadows. Shine your eyes people. |

Hmmm...and someone from the same failed party is saying oun lokan after deceiving us to vote the party in 2015 right ? Okay naw |
Because he's one of those who destroyed the sector. |
Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the current performance of the Ghanian Cedis as the world’s best currency performer against the dollar this week. The ranking of the Ghanian cedis comes amid optimism that the debt-distressed country is moving closer to unlocking an International Monetary Fund bailout. The cedi has rallied 10% in the past five days, the biggest advance among about 150 currencies tracked by Bloomberg. This year, Ghana’s exchange rate had lost half its value and occupied the bottom of the charts. The gains came even as the West African nation put its local-currency sovereign bonds in what Fitch Ratings described as a “default-like process,” The holders of its dollar bonds braced for capital losses. The restructuring is needed to put Ghana’s debt on a sustainable path and secure a $3 billion IMF loan. The currency was the cheapest in Africa, more than 30% undervalued versus its 25-year history last week, so some rebound after the huge fall recently isn’t that surprising,” said Charles Robertson, the chief global economist at Renaissance Capital Ltd. in London. “Also we have the IMF in town, which should pave the way for dollar support.” https://tribuneonlineng.com/naira-didnt-cedis-coming-ghana-cedis-becomes-worlds-best-performing-currency/

Me I know say na same buhari. All the features I've known him with, were still there even after his health condition improved. My liking buhari no be today. If not the old age and his health condition, he'd have done a lot. Those he surrounded himself with also aren't patriotic at all . Na dem destroy the apc and Nigerian economy. I remember back in the days when he used to visit lagos. He must lodge in my former boss' house at MCdinalds Ikoyi. He wasn't the type who would lodge in a hotel. He so much liked my boss. Regardless of days he'd spend in lagos. He'd be in his house throughout. Maybe he'd have played a great role in his cabinet today but God knows best. . So I've marked those features since then and they're still there on his face now. My boss was such a great man. May Jeye Okorodu's soul rest in peace. |
RestructureNig5:You just repeated what I said. Where exactly did I deceive myself? |
RestructureNig5:North is predominantly Muslim while south is over 75% christian |
Solsix:They've never been united politically. Maybe this time, they will |
Munamoqel:Northern Kaduna you meant? South had the majority Christians up to 80% |
Laple0541: . What an expensive joke. |
Abdul05:It's just apc act of desperation. That's all. Voters are not foolish |
garfield1:Guy, wth BVAS , rigging is impossible. Overvoting will be detected and struck off. I just pity those buying PVCs. It's a mission to failure. I have a relative working as senior official at inec so i strongly believe that, with the new technology, it will be pretty difficult to rig. Results will be transmitted live, as votes are being cast. There were apc agents in same Ede who jointly signed the results sheets before transmission. Were they sleeping while this so called rigging was happening? Were they drugged? Why not reject results outrightly? Did they put gun in their head to sign under duress? Apc should just rest. In ekiti where they won, there was no overvoting just because they won abi?. They've lost osun forever. This should sink into their heads. They're only chasing shadows. Ede is Adeleke stronghold amd political base. What were they expecting.....that his people should betray him? Common! |

Saywhat10:Lol. How Marwa's achievements were cornered by Tinubu remains a wonder lol. Marwa worked harder than Tinubu. He opened up the entire Alimosho, the largest LG in Lagos. There was discipline in his tenure too. If a dundee governs lagos, at the end of his tenure, the media and societal organisations will give him awards for excellent performance, even if all he does is go to the office and sign daily. All the factors that would generate funds are already in place to do projects. It wasn't Tinubu who made all these happen. How many non indigenes did Tinubu go to their states and persuaded to come and live on Lagos? Population of lagos had always been surging since 1980s. These are the people generating revenues for lagos government in taxes and other means. There are over 5m vehicles in lagos being used by both indigenes and non indigenes. Every year, they must renew their licence like every other state does. If anyone multiplies 20k by 5m vehicles at least, that's 100b naira, from licence renewals alone. That's almost one state's annual budget In Nigeria. What of other sectors like commerce where people pay tenement rates every year? That's almost 100hn naira. Transportation nko? That's in billions. Thousands of new houses spring up annually in lagos . They must pay for CofO, LABSCA,Safety,Quality Control people at oshodi, local government, etc. That's another billions there. All vehicles leaving apapa for other parts of lagos must pay. What of taxes paid by corporate bodies? All these come seamlessly and its been there since in the 80s. Revenues keep increasing as more people come to live here. Sadly, they don't declare the right amount generated as revenues. Corrupt people everywhere in every sector here. Health and education sectors skipped my mind. That's another huge sources of revenue. Tinubu didn't make all these happen. If people should leave our state today, revenues would drop. Most of those developing various communities aren't from lagos so, how can someone open his mouth waaa and claim he built lagos? Rather he's impoverishing our state. Pa Jakande rules same lagos in the 80s, built the largest housing estate in Africa back then without borrowing kobo. He still declared budget surplus despite this. I'm always on the side of chief bode George. You bought 3 private jet when you're not Elon Musk. |
TheNiceGuy:Hahaha |
Jonathan can't make any mistake of endorsing Tinubu. Not even in his dreams. Do good today, cos you don't know what tomorrow holds |
TheNiceGuy:Lol. Where are Hamzat, the Deputy governor's parents? None of them is from lagos yet, he's our deputy governor. Hid dad died recently, an oba in ijebu. I'm even more of a lagosian than him. Fashola and ambode are of ekiti decent. We have their records intact. Tinubu isn't a lagosian too. He's not even llying about it in his wikipage that he schooled in osun . You guys are rhe ones hyping him cos he knows the implications. |
Luisema4luv:Yes, you did but I don't believe you. You know why? Even here in lagos, only major marketers sell below 200, followed by Gov. Dapo Aboudun's company Heyden. He's the only independent marketer selling at 198 naira. Others sell above 250...from 250 and above. Anything outside lagos from independent marketers can't be less than 250, except he's father xmas |
ShinnBet:I see. Was ANAP/NOI poll which favoured buhari was also biased? Just asking. Even the pdp mocked ANAP polls in 2015 bragging of power of incumbency. I remember what Doyin Okupe said back then, that the pdp would govern for 50 years. I wish it was true. There you are again. The poll I personally conducted 3 days ago in abuja, I didn't pay kobo to anyone who spoke their mind. |
Luisema4luv:Go and check again. Hardly would you find an independent marketer selling at the normal pump price which the major marketers are selling outside lagos. Even within Lagos, many sell at 250 naira, talkless of far away ekiti. I was in Ado Ekiti recently so I know . If you live in Ado, please do us a favour by taking a picture of their dispenser meter and a shirt video for confirmation and share with us. This has nothing to do with politics. Even by selling at 250 or so, there's still long queues. Can you buy yam at 20 naira and still sell at same price? Impossible |
ShinnBet:Which obsession are we talking about here? Is it not same ANAP who conducted 2015 polls which favoured buhari despite the obvious and antecedents of elections in Nigeria with the incumbent always winning? Take a chill pill. Express your feelings after February polls |
Is it by sealing or asking them how much did they buy from depot? Senseless government who doesn't know jack about business. How many major marketers do they have in ekiti? Apart from one total and the nnpc along UNAD Road, who else can sell at the normal pump price? |
TheNiceGuy:I've told you several times I'm lagosian, not edo. Take it or you leave it. You've always been saying this and I've been quiet. It's because I chose not to respond to unnecessary posts anymore to save my energy. Omoluabi nimi tokan tokan. Hope you'd rest now ![]() |
