This one honestly does not require too much thinking. Take the job. Tell your in-laws to pray again and tell you what the next job will be since they know how to see job offers
The prayers of your in-laws are good, no doubt but, you have to do what is best for you. |

Car Talk › Re: Hyundai Accent Vs Tucson - Higher Resale Value? by eromspete(m): 5:43am On Jun 24, 2015 |
A Tucson (SUV) costs more to purchase compared to an Accent (Small sized sedan) considering the size, engine capacity, and handling of the vehicles in comparison. A Tucson is a better bet if you really want to proceed with your purchase and also in resale value. But the final resale value will be dependent on how well maintained the vehicle is at the time of selling it. What model year of both vehicles are you looking at? FYI - Tucson is same as Hyundai IX35. SomebodyLovesMe: I have an opportunity to buy my first car, and I like the appearance of both. I am female and have never been into cars, so I don't know too much about cars but I do know that one of the most important things to look out for when purchasing a new car, is its resale value.
I'm trying to figure out which of these two would have a better 2nd hand value (not price, but value), and would be easier to sell in 2-3 years. |
Car Talk › Re: Hyundai Accent Vs Tucson - Higher Resale Value? by eromspete(m): 9:40am On Jun 23, 2015 |
My thoughts exactly. Why is the poster asking this question? Poster kindly state your reasons for comparing both. redcliff: Is tucson not an suv? Why would u make such comparison |

Education › Re: 10 Nigerian Universities With The Best Graduates In The Work Place By (ajahexcel by eromspete(m): 3:27pm On Jun 20, 2015 |
Your own inaccurate opinion ajahexcel: Many graduates complain of lack of jobs in Nigeria or high rate of unemployment, but it has been traced to a bitter truth that the average Nigerian graduate is unemployable.
Despite the unemployable status of Nigerian graduates, graduates from some distinguished universities have shown themselves worthy of their certificates in their workplace.
The following universities produce the best students in the work place..
1. Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO): If you are good in Engineering and Mathematics in your company, the next question that follows will be, "Are you a FUTO graduate?". It is taken by default that anyone who gets the chance of schooling in FUTO is a maths genius and author of Engineering Mechnics.
2. University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN):
Those who speak very correct and fluent English and were the glasses of Medical doctors are assumed to have graduated from the premier university. The graduates from the university of Nigeria Nsukka are outstanding in their field of study.
3. Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU): Any northerner who rises to significance or found in any coy is assumed to have schooled in ABU. This is because graduate of ABU zaria are the best in their work place.
4. Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK):
Graduates from Unizik are simply awesome in their work place, they have good human relation. They are social and can always fit in so long as the work is not involving Muscular strength.
5. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)
Respect the graduates the graduates of OAU and you will live long. They are excellent in any field they claim to have got their BSc. OAU graduates are simply great.
6. University of Ilorin (UNILORIN): A school of intellectual giants, graduates of university of illorin tend to always lead others in their place of work.
They have this leadership spirit that separates them from graduates of any other school in the same coy with them.
7. University of Lagos (UNILAG):
This is the school of unlimited opportunities, it seem to be where celebrities are made. It is said that if you "blow" in UNILAG, You are big guy for life.
UNILAG graduates distinguish themselves in the area of arts and other sciences, Most Nigerian Celebrities in MUSIC, Nollywood, Sports etc were once in the four walls of UNILAG.
8. University of Ibadan (UI):
No doubt that the graduates of UI do great in their workplace.
9. Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA):
Just like their co university of technology (FUTO), graduates of FUTMINNA are outstanding in their place of work especially in the area of Engineering and Information Technology.
10. Covenant University (CU):
Although a private university, the graduates of this university are well grounded. They display academic prowess that make you consider going back to the university to learn again because they tend to show you things you were not taught in your school.
They have the book in their head and good number of them deliver those stuff in their head to the coy they work with.
Do you think there are other schools that should make the list and have not been added, kindly drop a comment at the bottom of this page.

So many people screaming fire her yet; - He'd still have to pay her for the days she's worked till her date of termination Business owner loses on this one - They do not fully understand recruitment takes time even for small business - Who will cover her position pending when someone else takes over? Business owner actually makes a loss in this period This is because the owner will have to do the actual laundry work thus, the time that would have been spent on business development (I hope), would be spent doing the sacked employee's work. |

How is Dangote's business related to what the poster is complaining about? You haven't said how they're similar and yet you speak. kevoh: Pls get off my mention if you don't have better things to say. Do you know what handling business is all about? Do you know that customers move over to another of your competitor within a matter of seconds when your service delivery becomes poor overnight?
Someone wants to sit her fat ass lazying about all day, doing nothing and complaining that is due to fasting while CUSTOMERS clothes remain unwashed and undelivered and you are talking of unrelated! |

what you posted oga is totally unrelated kevoh: Dangote is a muslim, does he close down all his businesses just because of fasting?
That girl is a lazy girl, throw her out jare and get another worker. Don't waste much time except you want to lose all your customers! |

Not to derail but I can't help but observe from your post that you are a Christian who married a Muslim. How did you approach her family as a Christian with your marriage proposal? justmenoni: I don't see that as a good excuse, my wife is a moslem and she still work, ur staff is giving you that excuse cos: u hv been to friendly with her or cos it's not a company such as banks, food production etc would she hv told the manager there that she can't come to work or perform her official duties?
Mind u I am a Christian and I do fast sometimes as well as go to work and perform my official duties, the only thing I might do is break at 3pm.
If she can't perform her duties then let her stay at home till Ramadan is over and employ someone to work on part time basis....
What if ur other worker did the same at the same time?? So ur.business will be closed down? Are u running an No ?
U need to speak with ur staff's and let them understand business ethics is important than personal ethics and at such been religious should be ignored in a business premises..
Op if you go get Christian, moslem, unbelievers as ur staff..how u wan take manage them??
quote author=nedu2000 post=34918168]Open a laundry mart 3months ago with just 2 staff members. Despite our owning a big washing machine the laundry man's function is ironing, removing tough stains and operating the machine. The 2nd employee's task is to go deliver those clothes to clients, compliment the laundry man's job of manual removal of tough stains and reception work.
On tuesday evening,on my return for work took a detour to my shop only to see lots of clothes piled up unwashed!!the laundry man was trying frantically to remove the tough stains manually meanwhile the lady just sat down by the reception desk doing nothing!!
When I asked her why she was working or even gone to deliver clothes to clients her reply was...."i'm fasting" In fury, I simply got my hands dirty and started doing the cleaning and delivery before I headed back home. Pls NLders how do i deal with this? I feel i'm being "religiously backmailed" How should employers handle muslim employees who are fasting? |

When the Christian fast was taking place earlier in the year, did anyone get fired for fasting?
Why should anyone get fired because of the Ramadan fast?
RCCG does a 100 day fast from Jan-April yet, I have not seen or heard any company sacking staffs because of such fasting activities.
Each Manager/HR Specialist should take this into consideration that work timings and assignments should be redistributed during such periods.
I know fully well that Nigeria is a secular state but religion does and will continue to have an impact on the workplace environment.
This is a lesson to be learnt by the business owner in question. HE now will learn to plan his resources against future scenarios like this. |

Hmmm. This is funny because you made up this story. How do you know about their sex life for you to say its good. Na 3some She laughed because she's not ready to accept your proposal. She wants to consult her parents/friends etc. (my opinion) adonbilivit: OK this happened to my friend. so he proposed to his girlfriend after dating for over a year. she neither said yes nor no but just laughed out loud. this has been bothering my friend. He feels she might be thinking he is not man enough probably because he is only 24.
N.B: he is a graduate and financially stable. the sex is good too. |

What is young's modulus in relation to body tissue mister physics teacher That niggass preek was sheared off by some freaked out girl perhaps And are you saying that Mike Tyson is more experienced in biting activities? I don't recall him doing muscular training for his jaws May I remind you that the penile tissue is not as strong as you think (spongy tissue) that is why turgidity is required from blood supply to make it increase in size for procreation purposes. Ever heard of the male condition called broken penile tissue in copulation? Anyway, let's drop the issue mister modulus. Bye Teempakguy: Listen to yourself 1. Mike tyson is an experienced, muscular boxer. Not some . . . girl. . 2. The ear and the joystick have absolutely nothing in common. The Young's modulus for the joystick is FAR greater than that of the ear.
Those circumstances incomparable. |
