That Laptop and chill moment... Man of value.. I salute you AwesomelyMade: Ok I have known her for sometime now. I met her on my way to work, we got talking and exchanged contacts. She calls to find out if I have eaten, and I am like 'yes'. '
What did you eat' I ate rice. This she tries to find out everyday until she asked to see and taste the rice I prepared at home.
I understood she was looking for a way to visit. Finally she visited, didn't want hear anything about work or even the rice she wanted to see, but to watch some stuff on my laptop. She calls me to sit beside her. I did! She chuckles and places head on my shoulder, I tried to offer her something but she refuses. I observed that she drew closer at each chuckle
Before I could say jack robinson, she was all touchy and started kissing. I wish I could upload the pix of my mouth, she bit my lips and apologized. Why i asked?
She said she couldn't control herself. She literally asked me to have sex with her and I refused on the grounds I just can't.
'I am a woman for crying out loud' she pleaded, 'please do it'.
'No I can't' I told her. She gets angry and leaves. I really don't know what to do now. |

Politics › Re: The Cement Roads Being Built By Ikpeazu In Aba. by eromspete(m): 5:43am On Oct 10, 2015 |
Do not believe in the illusion of it looking like its solid. Concrete is a material that needs to expand (There is no dowel bars for expansion and movement of the slabs) Concrete is a material that is weak in tension (There is no rebar in sight that will take care of tensile stress from vehicle axle weight) There is also something called thermal shrinkage (Again rebar has to be placed as a crack control reinforcement. This is not seen in this pour) I'm also concerned about other things such as waterproofing of the underlying layer of the concrete (subsurface soil saturation can cause the pavement layer to fail if proper drainage is not provided) THIS ROAD WAS NOT DESIGNED BY A COMPETENT DESIGN OFFICE. WHAT THIS GOVERNMENT IS DOING IS JUST TO PROCURE READY-MIX CONCRETE AND POUR WHEREVER THEY LIKE AND SAY THEY ARE CONSTRUCTING ROADS. Ask the previous government in Edo state how they designed the concrete road pavement along Adolor junction MadCow1: I have seen this method of road construction abroad and can tell you its solid..
After laying down think cement base, the asphalt would be laid over it.
Its much more durable than than using Mud base or Sand base. |

I have a few questions mister/miss - Don't you think that 20,000 accounts spread across many commercial banks is too much for effective financial performance of public funds given the prevalence of corruption in the country? - Is Buhari taking the money abroad? - Can't you understand that the money will be approved and distributed through a main channel? (CBN in this case)Even a seasoned economic team that is honest will see that this has a good potential for proper structure and accountability. FYI.. Buhari is not acting alone. He's responsible for signing and approving decisions but people do advise him although its not public in the form of Ministers yet. Please respond with valid response/argument. And no insults please (many peeps have high tendency to insult on here) eaglechild: Buhari! Dullard!! How many times will you be told to get a seasoned economic team. What do you think will happen to the banking sector if you pull out 2.6 trillion.

To be direct... What or How much i earn monthly is totally not any girls business. The moment i answer that question, her mentality in dealing with me changes from then onwards. She starts sizing me up based on how much i earn... PS - Just to forestall any bullshit mentions, i do earn a sizeable amount as monthly pay. I guess that's enough as your response Jenny1010: Guys are known to be open-minded and don't hesitate to give a simple, straight and direct answer to questions.. But, I still wonder why they go totally blank and sometimes furious when a girl ask them this one simple questions.
1. How much do you collect as salary every month? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Top 6 Future Highest Paying Jobs In Nigeria by eromspete(m): 1:10pm On Sep 10, 2015 |
The list is not correct.. POLITICIAN IS THE HIGHEST PAYING JOB IN NIGERIAtsticks: I remember growing up as kids whenever we were asked what we would like to become in the future you will hear something like i want to become a doctor, lawyer, pilot, engineer or an accountant because these are jobs classified as being professional and we were made to idolized them by our teachers and even our parents. As time goes by we began to understand that there are hundreds of career out there one could pick up.
After a careful study and focused group discussion with rigorous analysis of the salary ranges for the thousands of jobs published on some job sites in Nigeria i arrive at this list. It is important to note that the list is by no means final but a well researched projection of jobs that will be considered most lucrative in the future based on the information garnered from different sources.
Here are the Top 6 Future Highest Paying Jobs in Nigeria
Aerospace Engineers
Aerospace engineers working in the country’s aviation sector got their professional and technical training outside the shores of the country and get paid handsomely. They are most likely licensed aircraft engineers and its a tasking profession that requires continuous technical expertise and sound judgement. Pilots earn well but do not come near the pay packet of aeronautical engineers.
Physicians – Obstetrics/Gynecologists
Examines female patients to ensure a healthy reproductive system. Monitors patient during prenatal, natal and postnatal periods and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. Pay varies greatly depending on area of practice.
Software Developer & programmer
The demand for software developers and programmers is growing at a geometric progression. The drastic growth in technology development which has creeped into third world countries has necessitated the need for people who are specialized in developing apps and writing programs for diverse purpose to address different burgeoning needs of the people. In Nigeria presently, with the increase in the use of smartphones and tablets software developer are becoming indispensable to the sustainability of this growth to develop social apps and programs people can relate with. These guys are hot cake even at the moment.
Creative Designers & Coding
I know you might be surprised seeing graphic designers here, yes, this is a job that will be paying 3-4 million per-annum in the future, i am not talking about quack or road side graphic designers, though they have their own share of the cake but am talking about professional graphic artistes that are highly creative and also do coding. These guys are always relevant and with the stiff competition in the market creativity will spot the difference.
Civil Engineer
Presently in Nigeria the business of real estate is becoming so popular that so many people want to become a real estate agent, because of this, the need for civil engineers in Nigeria in the future will be high because so many housing issue is still a basic problem in Nigeria
Digital Marketing Analyst
You might also want to argue this, the need for digital marketing specialist or analyst in the future will so be high requiring paying those who are experts in this field, this is because of numerous eCommerce company springing up everyday, the growth in online merchandising will definitely necessitated need for more competent hands in the future as these guys are not earning less than 3 million per-annum
It is no doubt that the issue of unemployment is at an alarming rate in Nigeria even while thousands of students are graduating every year, It doesn’t even matter again what course you studied in school it is now more of what you can do and what you have passion for with how many certifications you have to show for it. |
Career › Re: Pls Advise: Architecture Or Civil Engineering by eromspete(m): 2:20pm On Sep 08, 2015 |
I'm a Civil Engineer and YES i'd be biased towards Engineering profession. Go for it however, its not the easiest course to study but it's definitely worth it for the following reasons FIRSTLY ATTEND A GOOD UNIVERSITY WITH A STRONG CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT S/O to UNIBEN I still had to learn alot outside school sha.. Technical Expertise - If you successfully complete the course you'd appreciate how materials come together to form structures, load transfer between interacting members, amongst other things. How far and how skilled you want to be depends on you (from project management, construction, design, etc) Varied opportunities to practice in different capacities - As a Civil Engineer you have options to practice as the following but not limited to Civil Engineer, Site Engineer, Project Engineer, Planning Engineer, Office Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Design Engineer, Material Engineer, Survey Specialist, Construction Engineer - Steel, Foundations, etc, all of which require a Civil Engineering Degree to be qualified. I did not even talk about Oil and Gas positions (Architects can't design O&G facilities but a Civil Engineer can and will ) BUT ALL THE ABOVE CAN ONLY BE EXPLORED IF YOU STUDY CIVIL ENGINEERING - THE MOST UNLIMITED COURSE IN THE WORLD. Well, i just had to hype my profession. Personally, i feel there isn't much difference between an Architect and an Artist (They're both dreamers but paint on different canvasses i.e. Computer printouts for the Architect and paper canvass for the Artist) Shout out to the Architects that know their work/worth (i work amongst them) they're cool people as well. |
Phones › Re: Please, What exactly Do People Do With Their Iphones? by eromspete(m): 5:10am On Sep 05, 2015 |
I'd like you to know that this feature is not exclusive to the iOS devices. All the Samsung devices I've ever used were able to print wirelessly (Note 3, S5, and S6). I currently have and use a wireless printer with my Android phone. I'm sure other Android devices print via wireless as well. What else does your phone do? jomoh: I will give you only one of the things Iphone does and when you get another phone that does that you can come back for the second lesson.
I once stood at the front desk of Etisalat experience center at Allen avenue with my iPhone 5. Their service was horribly slow so typed a text on my phone which reads "YOUR SERVICE IS TOO SLOW", copied and paste to fill the whole page and then sent about 10copies to their printer that was on the Wifi. I was being attended to when one of their staffs came with the printouts to ask his colleagues who sent the printout. I actually went there to buy an Nano sim (iphone being the first phone to use it).
In my Office in Ikeja GRA then, our office was using a duplex building. Instead of climbing the stairs with my Laptop to connect to the printer stationed upstairs before printing a 300page proposal sent to me for printing, I will access my mail on my Iphone and send the document to the printer's WiFi while doing other things on my laptop without leaving my desk until after some minutes that I believe the documents must have been printed completely.
When you get another phone that does something similar, come for a second class. |

Just to clarify that the iPhone uses a Sapphire glass and not the Gorilla glass like you mentioned.. it's more scratch proof but shatters quite easily compared to Gorilla glass. laivwire: The day I was converted to an IPhone from Android was when I ran a particular game on my Htc same time with my cousin who uses an IPhone 4. The difference in gameplay was stunning I just had to switch. Today I have over 5 Apple products.
For brevity's sake, I will just list some of the features that makes me still to an IPhone 5 till date.
1. Screen: is simply stunning. Gorilla glass that is scratch resistant and displays vivid colours. Other phones that display same are quite few.
2. Compact size: why lug a 5" slate around when a 4" will do just fine and still packs enough features. It even makes the resolution better. This I have compared with note4 and Samsung Galxy S5 screens.
3. The processor handles anything. Fluid performance. Simply!
4. Apps? Enough! There are hardly any very interesting game on Android that's not present on Apple, IMHO though but I'm open to correction
5. Ease of use: ever wondered how Apple phones get to thrive with just one button? While Android still packs 3 till date.the gesture options are just more than enough and you get by anything easily.
6. Compatibility: I use Xender apps, use Vlc to download movies and music online: free.
Lastly, it's timeless, the same hardware design has been held for over 10 years, no need to upgrade each and every time, sell and resell, just upgrade software and you are good to go.
I'll stop here for now. Thanks Jailbreaking is quite unnecessary if you really want to enjoy your iPhone |
