earthrealm:Same thing here in Ibadan. Although, i did not really drive to areas prone to police check points. Still monitoring the situation though. Although i have already removed the tint on my driver and passenger glass in front, i will have them back after the election. |
Topic: 2001 Acura TL Security System Not Functioning. . . . Pls Advise On What To Do. (Read 43 views)NO COMMENTS, NO SUGGESTION ! ! ! ! ! |
Kunle-A:I say a big AMEN to that. We might be sealing the deal for my next ride pretty soon. ![]() |
Kunle-A: ![]() Bros i know the car is due for a change and God-willing it will be replaced but until then let me continue to enjoy and feel secure whenever i park it in a public place. |
Anyone out there to proffer a solution to this problem ![]() |
Hi guys, Anyone knows how i can fix the security system of my 2001 Acura TL. I had an accident a month ago, which affected the boot, and right side rear light. I had to replace the boot and get another rear light. Ever since then, the security has stopped working. I had a Rewire check it out, but seems not to be able to figure out the problem. He only suggested i got another security installed since it was factory fitted and can only be rectified by the Acura dealership technician. Please anyone who knows how i can fix this problem should please advise. I suspect this problem might also be as a result of the car tracker i installed a year ago but has stopped working for sometime now. Maybe the car tracker has interfered with the main car security system and somehow disabled it. Siena and any other car expert in the house please advise. Eros |
@ againstGEJ, I am really irritated at your "TOO KNOW" attitude. For Christ sakes what is your point really and why do you always want to prove you know it all. For starters, you don't even have a tint permit, so you don't know how folks like me feel who spent 25k getting a tint permit that one clueless animal now says is invalid. ![]() Then you have Siena explain to you in detail what is obtainable in the U.S. and U.K. where he lives, yet you still argue blindly. Please do us all a favor and leave this thread already because you are not helping those of us who have FACTORY FITTED TINTED glass solve the problem of how to deal with our ever naira thirsty NPF. @ Those who have factory fitted tinted glass, i printed out a copy of this news from Vanguard website to add to my car documents hoping to politely engage our wonderful NPF in a decent explanation of this new law when they attempt to interpret it upside down. I guess i shouldn't have much problems with them being a member of PCRC and a phone call away from the CSO to the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State. |
Despite the OP's wise and thorough analysis, we all know that the BB ticket will do Nigeria a great good. Sentiment aside, GEJ has done nothing notable or reasonable for Nigeria, instead he keeps taking Nigeria in a downward spiral. Even OBJ was able to bring GSM to Nigeria even though they are ripping us off. The much talked about POWER that GEJ has promised Nigerians is yet to be experienced. There is still perpetual darkness everywhere and there is no certainty that Nigeria will ever experience 24 hours uninterrupted power in the next 4 years. Whatever the analysis, lets all vote BB and be part of the change that Nigeria badly needs. GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!! |
fresh_dude:If they can refund the money for the tint permit, i will gladly scrap off the factory tint from my car. |
The average rat in my former neighbourhood became so bold that they join us in the parlour to watch super eagles match. Walahi, fear don comot for their body kpatakpata. ![]() You must be a real clown with a wonderful imagination to write such a fabled experience. Nairaland a place with great minds. |
Anybody knows how i can get my tint off my car. Although they are factory fitted, the Nigeria Police on the street careless. They will delay and extort anyone and everyone with factory tinted glass. ![]() Nigeria is truly a lab where the weirdest of experiments are carried out. ![]() |
Do you have a Touring Edition? |
Ghaddafi's time is up. His head should be delivered on a platter of plastic or rusted iron. Sc.um of the earth. . . . . . . ![]() |
I have always said i would never vote in Nigeria because our votes never count, but this time i am voting Buhari/Bakare. Never knew Buhari had such a good record. Please is there any way we can make this more public, so that Nigerians can know more about this great man? What most Nigerians lack is knowledge of who their leaders are, the minute we start to make known these wonderful attributes alot of people will easily decide who to vote for and why they should vote for such a person. Not voting based on religious or tribal sentiment. VOTE BUHARI / BAKARE COME APRIL 2011 |
tfabmac: ![]() The brother is not a true Nigerian, because real Nigerians don't get duped it is almost second nature. Even the "supposed" blind beggar on the street is a fraud. ![]() Nigeria i hail thee. |
Wow! ! ! This is really sad. I don't think i want to be caught up in this pre-order mess when i get my next ride very soon. This shouldn't be happening to the 007. I pray you redeem yourself soon. I still believe in you. |
icebaba01: olanirun:Guys if i don't see what i want to spend millions of naira on, why should i waste valuable airtime to call you? After i call you what then happens? Show me what you got, then i might just give you a call to arrange for inspection or just buy immediately. The ball is in your court. |
Tadeus:@ Tadeus, Can you also get a 2007 Toyota Avalon Touring Edition with Sat Nav. and all the toys a machine should have for 2.3 million? Please let me know ASAP and i will give you a call so we can make arrangement to transact. You can send me pictures @ emee30384@yahoo.com |
Fhemmmy:Hmmmmm! ! ! I wonder what happened when my Acura passed through the port in 2009. Well, i guess the law might have changed after then. Everything about Nigeria is unstable. Well am still cruising my ride until it enters the market for replacement.

omoola007: ![]() The thing with green colored car is not true. I drive a green 2001 Acura TL and have being driving it for almost 2 years now without any issues. I live very close to 2 Army barracks, have driven past alot of police check points, police stations and whatever law enforcement agency Nigeria has without any harassment. So rock on bro. Acura TL rocks. |
ANYBODY LINK OOOOOO. PLEASEEEEEEE |
Anyone knows any website where my friends in Spain can watch the match LIVE? ![]() |
This machine is not WICKED but HOLY. ![]() |
Nigerians never fail to amaze me, look at the comments on this thread. It is very true that "a people deserves the kind of leaders they get" Look at Buhari, a tried and tested leader with 0 tolerance for corruption, look at his record when he was PTF chairman, look at the development that took place across Nigeria. Yet, people keep talking about him being a "jihadist" you guys will forever avoid substance and digress into meaningless sentiment that is of no benefit to your collective well being. You are spot on. When the time comes, i will also burn my Nigerian passport. Nigerians suck and we will continue to destroy this country ourselves. It's such a shame. |

I had better start planning on relocating to Cotonou or Ghana. Since we have chosen to remain backward and useless in this failed country. |
Very funny ![]() Whatever their prophecy its good news that Atiku is going no where. |
sir-p2007:How true is this? This is very sad indeed. RIP |
inspired_m:Boss, you are yet to tell me the price for my request. I need to get the sensors ASAP. My car is beginning to act up, although its indirectly tell me its time to seal that deal with you. God-willing it will be very soon, till then i need to put this baby in top shape. |
You should also note that without you he will continue to survive. So don't think that if you don't loan him money, he wouldn't be able to pay his bills. How did you get to the U.K. in the first place? Was he expecting to meet someone like you to bear his burdens? Granted you are in love with him, but love has its limits and boundaries. Just like someone suggested, also pretend to be very broke and see his reaction. |
jennykadry:As a guy with a little experience in this kind of issues, i will say the best advice ever offered here is the one above. Follow the advise above and you wouldn't have any issues with your guy. Don't bear his burdens to your own discomfort and never do things for love that will make you regret tomorrow. You asked for our sincere and matured advise and you have it. What you do with it is left to you. |
