Eros, both your Camshaft Position Sensors are faulty. If they give implausible signals, these are the codes you come up with. The car will still appear to run fine, though it may have limited performance at higher engine RPM.

Is your Acura TL a V6, with independent CMP's for both banks of the 'V'?

Also, it's worth noting damaged wiring / connectors will also cause the above symptoms. The wiring for CMP's is the coaxial type, so about 2 wires central, then an earth screen on the outside. Check the connectors, make sure they're clean, dry and tight.

The Traffic in front of my office(Campbell Street Lagos Island) was mad also overheard people saying 3rd mainland was blocked!!!!, Well it took me 3 bottles of Big stout and some nkwobi for the traffic to clear out. Left my office area at 10:30pm and got home at 11pm.

Durability in my opinion and from my years of car sales experience is in two folds:

1. DURABILITY: to be used after years without need for replacement.
2. DURABILITY: to be used after years and still look beautiful in the eyes of on-lookers.

For point No.1, i give it to toyota, you could use the toyota for a longer period than the honda, because, they focus FULLY on durability. This same reason makes their cars ugly once a little dent appears on it. Look around at dented toyota cars e.g. 2009 camry, rav4s, avensis etc
Once a toyota suffers a dent or scratch, it looses its beauty.

As for point No.2, the HONDA/ACURA wins the day hands down. I see a lot of used, scratched and dented honda accords(end of discussions); even some on sale here on nairaland, and you still see people jostling to buy them for as high as 1.4M-1.5M(same price i can give you a tokunbo 2003/04 camry). Why?, because, even when the honda/acura car has been over-used and over-stretched, IT STILL LOOKS BEAUTIFUL in the eyes of the on-looker.

So if i'm buying a car to intentionally climg forests and rocks, i would go for a nissan xterra or pathfinder, or toyota highlander, definitely not the acura MDX. However, for your everyday lagos bumpy roads, the Acura MDX or Honda Pilot can stand head to head with the rugged SUVs and still hold its own.

I love the way you describe and analyze the beauty of the Acura. You make me love my Acura TL the more and make me want to change it for Acura RL. Nigerians know very little about the Acura sedan and SUV. You need to drive and own an Acura to know the feeling.
