You better check with a credit bureau ...although the first central credit bureau only knows how to collect my 100 Naira without sending Otp .. The other one CRC claim they were doing free promotion one time like that and I inserted their promo code, they also did not reply,but are busy spamming my mail,me I am just looking at them... So my advice is find a Good Credit Bureau company.

Only if I know which bank or microfinance bank am owing. I have never collected loan from any bank in my life. I have never even approached any bank for a loan. How do I know which bank I am owing in the first place?

Hi Nairalanites, I tried to apply for the ongoing Covid-19 TCF loan application via NIRSAL MicroFinance Bank website but this unfortunate message pop up each time i enter my Bank Verification Number (BVN) in the space provided. That "Sorry, our records shows that you have some non-performing loans. Application will not proceed." Please I need help on how to go about solving this problem. I have never collected a loan elsewhere either from the bank or any financial institution. If at all I have a debt issue, how do I access the information and clear the debts? I have checked with my banks and they confirm no debt issue anywhere. Pls mod move this to FP we need reasonable answers. Thank you.

You are right. The people are mainly at fault for what happens to them. But the question to ask ourselves is, those people that got roasted at Otedola bridge today, are they the ones who vandalized the pipelines for personal gains?
It is wrong for one set of people to suffer loss of lives and property for the crimes of another set. Which is where the government still comes in, to make sure our pipelines are safe and well protected, railways working to reduce the number of trailers and trucks on the road, and proper monitoring of vehicle road worthiness.

It is a collective thing. we need to cooperate rather than fighting ourselves. That's just the solution. It doesn't matter whether those who died in the inferno were the ones who vandalize the pipelines or not. Once we begin to see that our negative action can affect others in a dangerous way, that will be the beginning of our solution in Nigeria. Otherwise nothing will still change. we will keep on exchanging the blames from one corner to another. from Buhari to Fulani herdsmen to Fifa referee to tanker drivers. Imagine a driver in one of the bus i was in left his engine one while asking the fuel attendant to refuel his car. when we advice him to off his engine, he was just shouting and saying pour the fuel make i dey go joor. if the car no gree start na we go push am baa? The fuel attendant refused. and he was saying we too dey fear. he just refused to see how disastrous that act was to himself, us in the bus and people around him.

Go back to the old ways of transporting PMS, Gas, Kerosene and other flammable substance through pipes all over the country. Nigerians also need to behave and stop vandalizing these pipes. We are too stubborn and greedy.

Nigerians are too useless. they obviously don't like what is good for them. they just want bad things to be happening so that they will always be complaining. Pipes were constructed and channeled all over the country for transportation of PMS, Gas, Kerosene etc to avoid such disaster but all they do is vandalize these pipes in local areas just to steal. all we do is blame the government for everything. Even if a different route is to be created as you said, most people will be against it because it will encroach in their land. they will come out with cutlasses to fight the road constructors.

no wonder disasters happen in this country every corner.

The country Nigeria has been beclouded by so many problems. These problems are all cause by Nigerians themselves. There is one serious problem going on in Nigeria which is called "Blame Shifting" This simply means, putting blames on others for the crimes, wrongs and evil things committed.

Everybody in Nigeria tries to blame another person for the wrong things they do instead of admitting their wrongs and changing their attitude, they blame politicians, governments, pastors, imam, principals, headmasters, police, soldiers and even the devil or God himself. They blame the North, South, East or West for their own nemesis not knowing that they are suffering as a consequence of the wrong they did some time ago. Until this attitude is change, we will never develop.

A Nigerian always seek to justify his selfish attitude, corrupt act, trying to say they are sharp and intelligent by deceiving people to get something from them. This short example explains the problem with Nigeria.
