My story started like this a security company help me to secure a residential work by September this year, on my ist day at work the owner of the house called me and gave me 10k cash as my upkeep it does not include my saraly in the next 2 weeks this Man called me again and gave me 10k I was like in my mind omo I die here. So as the month ended the man send my salary to the security company and he called us and give us a monthly dash of 10k each plus the my salary the security will send to my account making it 50k per month. So in my ist month I realized 70k as just a gate man I was like am in this job for years. The next month October was even better than September money this man was giving me was mind blowing. So one day the man was entering a room in the compound my colleague told me oga they go him power house, I was like u mean house for light control they laugh they said oga his into idol worshipping I said oh OK they said he join it just for protection I said OK to me is not a problem as far say money dey flow is not my business. So the company brought a new security guard to join us making us 4 in number , I forgot to tell u guys each of us have our own rooms bed and Ac the place was very conducive, we were not allow to go to church on Sundays not only us every worker in the compound. Dear Nairalanders and Advertisers.

Nairaland's server was taken down by our host's abuse team because of an abuse report that wasn't attended to on time.

After rectifying the error, we brought the server back for a few minutes, but they decided to take the server down again. Since then, we haven't heard from the abuse team, yet the support team keeps insisting that only the abuse team can help us.

So we had to transfer Nairaland to a temporary host in order to bring it back to you. A VERY time-consuming process. We are not fully back, even though most features of the site are working. We still have a long way to go. Additional downtime is likely; don't let it alarm you.

There's a lot more to say, but I have to go back to work to ensure that our return is permanent. Please forgive us for the stress we caused. We appreciate the love and support that you showed us during the ordeal. Nairaland is too important for us to let this happen again.

THIS IS MY SITUATION
I would be 34 by February next year. I am a graduate of Biochemistry and I have been working as a teacher in a state government owned secondary School for the past 3 years.
Growing up, I've been passionate about studying medicine but couldn't due to financial constraints.
When I got my present job in 2021, the passion started coming back gradually but I ignored it and opted for a side hustle in software engineering. Late last year I got enrolled into alx software engineering program. I'll be done by the 22nd of this month. I've learnt a lot and acquired a lot of skills as well.
Despite this, the passion still keeps staring at me.
The issue here is, at my age is:
1. Is it a great idea going back to school to study medicine?
2. Should I go for computer science so as to boost my chances in the field of software engineering?
3. Or should I settle for PGD in education, then masters, to encourage my career growth in my present job?

You have about 48k USD. You can make that in 2-3 years, a potential to make more, a citizenship and unending opportunities. Nigeria investment market is a huge risk. I wont advice you to gamble with your funds especially when this economy is so fragile.
If you can get access to USA through assistantship, Canada, Australia or Netherlands. Its the best option for you.
