Shesea fans are not saying much. They are mainly laughing tbh.

I think you could have made a better point by saying KDB has mastered better, the application of his talent than Hazard. I am not saying you still wouldn't have met resistance but you still would have given your point a chance.

You torpedoed the whole thing when you started saying KDB is more talented than Hazard; further killing the point by expressing that his (KDB's) height advantage must be seen as pure talent.

Drogba could possibly defend better than Messi. And?
Au contraire, I was asked who was "most" talented between the 2. I simply listed out the "talents" and numbered them to see who had more of it.

If Drogba defends better than Messi, does he score better? Dribble better? Pass better? Read the game better? Score freekicks better?

Does he have more gravity i.e the ability to pull players to himself thus freeing others around him?

Does he have more acceleration? Speed with the ball? Decision-making? Craft? Guile? Flexibility?

I am sure you know where I am going with this.

Imagine listing out 15 things Messi is more skilled at, then 3 things that Crouch is better than him at.

Then concluding that Crouch is "more" talented because I am a Stoke fan.

Tallness is now a talent and Kevin debruyne is now a target man. Lana1, come and carry your brother.
The word was "taller". The "er" shows you are comparing 2 players.

The target man part was unrelated but feel free to conflate things. You are not known for that at all.

Hazard was not appointed because he was the most senior in the team as you wrongly posited. Get your facts right next time.
Most cannot be used between 2 players.

Keep trying hard. You are impressing like-minded people.

Dayo has answered you well but let me add that Lewa recently became a good freekick taker. He was not always good at it earlier in his career but he worked on it and today takes a handful of them for Bayern.

The point is, development is part of talent. If a player can easily learn things and adapt, it shows his talent or skill in that regard.

So yea, add adaptation and freekick taking to KDBs talents that he has over Hazard. grin

Hazard and De Bruyne are in same age bracket compare to Messi and mascherano. You failed again.
If not that you want to be sentimental watch Belgium game hazard make the team play quality football. You think coaches don’t see these things.
Hazard got into the national team before KDB that is essentially why he is the captain. Age bracket is moot. And to get something (PFA player) before someone else does not make you better (KDB was not there when Hazard got it). Owen was Ballon d'or and Henry was not but even Owen will tell you Henry was better than him as footballers.

Ok let me ask you Hazard and De Bruyne who is the most talented?
This is easily KDB. He has "more talent".

Shoots better with both legs.
Has better vision.
The better passer.
Defends better.
Taller.
More durable.
Has more assists over the course of their careers in the EPL.
Plays more positions.
Reads the game better.

Hazard is only quicker and the better dribbler.

You guys should stop hating on Lonzo abeg. I saw the Ben Simmons yesterday bricking free throws like Shaq and I wondered what was propelling the hype for ROY.

Not saying the kid is not good but he is a work in progress like every other rookie. Lebron on this Lakers team in the west may not smell the playoffs so I wonder why the judgment should change when Lonzo is involved. He sure does have a lot to learn but he is not to be dismissed the way some on here are trying to.

OKC and Cavs with better players are playing badly but Lonzo is overhyped even when it is clear he is indeed a pass-first player. He should not suffer the sins of his father or his most vociferous fan on here.

The game could have had a very different outcome if that linesman did his job well. Arsenal would've gone back to London with a point. They were growing in confidence and it was only a matter of time before they scored. City hit them severally on the counter but they weren't as dangerous as they used to be.

The bad officiating just killed the game.
This is a blatant lie.

Bad officiating should include a penalty and possible redcard to Sead in the first half.

Growing in confidence talk is fib. Cech made more gilt-edged saves than the City keeper within that "confident" phase.

This is not an excuse. Arsenal also played in the EL *on Thursday* (a day after City's game). Wenger sacrificed that game for today's match. No one instructed Pep to play all his star players on Wednesday. He simply made a gamble and it didn't bite him in the ass today.
Arsenal rested everyone that started today whereas City did not. City needed not to lose to qualify so the manager rightly, chased it.

Arsenal were the more rested team and looked fresher. City are just a well-oiled machine so their superior talent told.

Our boys tried.

Two poor decisions by the ref cost us the game.

Man City by far had better players and they in such good form. So losing 3-1 is not too bad.
The penalty was stone-wall. Kolasinac clearly shoved Raheem in the first half which should have been another one.

Notwithstanding, Arsenal were the best team I saw against City this season. Up there with Napoli (first 20mins of the last UCL tie) and Shaktar, to some degree.

It's clear the FA want to hand their favorite son The League title with dubious officiating. Good one Mark Oliver thank you for your MOM performance in handing City all 3 points today.
Which Ref did not see the shove by Kolasinac on Raheem in the first half?

Arsenal played well but they were simply second best. City played a gruelling UCL game before this game with largely the same team. Arsenal rested all their starters in the Europa game. One team was fresher but the skillset of City was more telling.

If they were as rested as Arsenal, they could have won by a 4 goal margin.

What do you mean? Havent United been competive on the pitch recently? How were they able to amass 3 major trophies in 18 months. Let me tell you only chelsea has been more successful than united recently on the pitch in England. United are competitive both on the pitch and financially.

Look at the bullet points.

- UCL winners, or/and a good amount of domestic titles and massive pedigree.

- Can compete financially at the top level.

- And still compete even till date on the pitch.

Once you can satisfy the above conditions, you are a tier 1 club.

PSG, City, Sevilla, ATM, Spurs, Roma Napoli etc do not posses the first condition.
Celtic, Porto, Ajax, Partizan Belgrade, Staua Bucharesti do not satisfy the 2nd.
While Aston villa and Nothingham forest do not have the third.

Ac milan, Bayern, Inter, Barca, Liverpool, Chelsea, United, Real and Juventus can boast of having a massive pedigree, still has very massive financial clout, and they are still very much competing in the highest level. Its simple. Why all these back and forth things.
Apart from a few things here and there I agree with what you are trying to say. But let me point out some things that do not add up.

1. United and Liverpool only recently got back into the UCL - so how are they very much competing?

2. Are you saying that if Aston Villa just qualifies for the UCL again they will become tier 1? I don't understand this contorting you are doing.

Going by your rules about tier 1 clubs then United left the conversation last season do you agree?

I admire what you are doing; sticking up for your man even when you know he met a cul-de-sac.

I said Real Madrid courted Gabriel Jesus but the player himself chose City. To make light of this reasoning your man said Sneijder turned down United to go to Galatasaray. I charged him to back it up and he could not and neither have you.

I want to post the glaring contradiction between this link and your first link or even El Rony's argument but I may wait for you to see it yourself.

In any case, Fergie turned down Sneijder who went to Galatasaray after. And in your second link Sneijder turned down a move to leave Galatasaray to play for LVG.

As you can see, neither has anything to do with Sneijder leaving Inter to go to Gala instead of United. Which is what I asked your man to back with evidence.

Oya, turn the Amala again.

League cup, FA cup and europa league are major trophies so is League title. United are not minnows recently, they have won 3 major trophies in 18 months, so what are you saying? I am not talking about history recently united have won more trophies than city.
Its not only Financial power that is making united great they have won things to go alongside.
So Sevilla are greater than City and are tier 1?

You know it in your heart that the FA Cup, Carling and Europa cup are not major trophies (I can let the last one pass but it is not as important as it used to be). Only league titles in respected leagues and the champions league make up the major trophies. If you argue against this, then you cannot justify why Arsenal FC should not be tier 1. In the last 4 seasons they have been hugely more successful than United (winning 3 "major" trophies, 3 "minor" trophies) and finishing higher than United in the league in all 4 seasons.

Do you see how it works? Oya, change the argument back to pedigree and how many titles United have won in their history.

But they are major trophies. City did not even have those "trophies not bigger" than EPL. United won 3 major trophies in one and half year. City has just 1 in 3 years. Liecester has 1 major trophy in 2 years, United has 3. Thats the point. United are a massive club and are still winning till this moment. City are not.
LOL. So Arsenal with 3 of the last 4 FA Cups are what? Is the argument now between City and United? Who in their right senses will argue City over United?

As you can see, you are changing the argument. Carling Cup, FA Cup and Europa together are not equal to or better than 1 EPL. If that was not the case, nobody would troll Liverpool because Gerard Houllier won all such trophies in one season (2001) and everyone keeps asking them for their EPL.

United are a massive club via trophy hauls and financial power as well. If the argument was about recency, then United would be minnows. Hope you see my point.

The financial power of United is one of the reasons they are tier 1 now not about their history. Same as City.

Liverpool has massive massive pedigree to show, just like Ac milan and inter. Unlike city. So Brendan Rodgers got a lower job.

Man United have won the league at least in the last 5 years and most importantly have won the UCL which Leicester have not, while still amassing 3 major trophies in the last 18 months liecester did not. That most recent trophy haul elevated then above Liverpool as the most successful club in Britain. Massive club.
I hope you can see how you shifted timeline to 5 years to accommodate United and went back to pedigree to rescue Liverpool from your own argument o.

3 major trophies? Any of them bigger than the EPL in the same 3 year time span you were just pointing at me o? Leicester won the EPL once in the last 2 seasons.
