The kain defence KD dey play nobody can tell me they saw it in him before. Dude is swatting everything that has come his way. Eating away at their lead slowly but surely. |
Getting abused by The Pelicans mostly due to sloppy playing and bad shooting. Enjoying our poor start to the season. |
CeterisXVII:Oh lord *face palm* This is what is supposed to constitute the NTB based on Baru's write-up. Table 2: Composition of Tenders Board (SGF Circular (iii) above) Ministry Chairman Permanent Secretary Members Heads of Departments Parastatals Chairman Chief Executive Members Heads of Departments Except Baru was having a brainfart moment similar to you. BPP clarified according to this same write-up that the chairman is the NNPC GMD and the members are the GEDs. The GGM procurement acts as the Secretary. Based on the forgoing, PMB in whatever capacity cannot make approvals of the contracts because he does not belong to the NTB whether as president or Substantial minister. So NNPC GMD and his GEDs will sit and approve contracts as they please except it exceeds a certain amount and in that case they can defer to the FEC for approval? Who do you suppose represents their interest at the FEC? President Buhari? **** |
adanny01:This is exactly what I said earlier. What people don't see as flagrant disrespect and insubordination on Baru's part is, he did not even need to pass the contracts through the President so why then did he do it? |
CeterisXVII:You are being smart by half. Based on what Baru wrote above he did not even need PMBs consent in the contract approvals as the Minister (whether State or Substantial) has no say in that aspect. The Minister is not even part of the NNPC Tenders board. If this does not make you cringe and think - nothing else will. |
I wonder why people are not seeing the major issue with Baru's rejoinder. Based on what is above, even PMB (as a minister of petroleum resources) is useless with respect to approving contracts except above a certain threshold. Even when such contracts are above that certain threshold, it is only at the discretion of the NNPC through the NTB that he/she may be acquainted with such knowledge. The rule stating that the NNPC board only approves NNPCs budget and plans- and has no say in approving contracts is just a gross and wanton show of ineptitude on the part of everyone involved. Baru and his GEDs can sit at any point in time and approve contracts without recourse to the President, FEC, Minister(s) of Petroleum or NNPC board as long as it does not exceed a certain amount. That is incredibly inane. |
VivaLaByke:He knows the triangle offense pretty well and he did a good job on GSW when Kerr was down. He can read plays well and make in-game adjustments which to me signifies true coaching. There were moments in that 44-4 run he did with GSW where the games were close and he would make plays that would open the game up. Summary is, he is good. Lakers intentionally tanked last year (after his good start) otherwise he would have had 30+ wins atleast. But going into this season the Lakers roster does not convince me really. Lonzo will improve and Kuzma seems to be legit but I am not seeing willing unselfish players to make the offense click save Lonzo (whose scoring needs to be a lot better to give his team that jump). Jury is still out on Ingram and something just feels off with the defence. If you are expecting a playoffs finish this time around I seriously doubt it. I would be surprised if you guys did any better than 35wins TBH and it won't be Luke's fault per se. Don't read too much into the Denver game; they are a really solid team whose offense was really fluid even last season besides, it is a preseason game. My GSW lost to them and now Minnesota. The more we see we would know. |
Bayern board listened to me. So many Ls. So many Ls. Anyways, Treble loading. |
Jupp's team faced a strong Dortmund. Carlo's team faced Leipzig (lol) but Pep had it easy in the league according to him because Dortmund was on a downward slope. They did not add that Dortmund had 66pts in Jupp's last season and 80 in Pep's first time. Did Jupp's team face the 2013/14 RM side? 2014/15 Barca side? Both teams were on the up and were better than they were in 2011/12 and 2012/13. Jupp had Ribery and Robben in their best shape possible. In Pep's time both players were ravaged with injuries in many key games. Yet they would say he had the same set of players Jupp had. If we start showing them how imperfect Jupp was, they would say he is being denigrated. Same Jupp I said had the best ever Bayern season. We are not hoodwinked. E no concern Jupp or Pep. Did Carlo fail? Yes he did. Take your L and use it to pleasure Lola. |
TLona1:Bro, it was never about Pep even though Arindin40 tried to make it about him. He went out on a limb to say Carlo will do better. Having to swallow all the garbage he was spewing back then is what he is really wrestling about. L will be calling someone but he would be trying to make it go to voicemail. You can see him blame Pep pretending he does not know Hummels and Benatia. For Ribery and Robben when Bayern had Coman and Costa. If Bayern ended up selling them or underutilizing them how e take concern Pep? Did Mou not underutilize Ukaku and is KDB not the best EPL midfielder? Every legit Bayern fan knows that Pep wanted Neymar, KDB and Sané. He asked for 2 of those players in his final season but the board felt they were expensive. Away from that, Pep left and while he was going I told the obtuse lama on this thread that Carlo will see how difficult it is to manage the dressing room and expectations of Bayern board and fans. Dumbo said Carlo has managed a "bigger" team in RM. Said Bayern squads (including Pep's) had never succeeded in beating him. Ah, those days Carlo became the best thing since Lebron's tweet at Trump. I bidded my time and wished Carlo well. First some Bayern performances dropped. But as usual, spin master made one excuse or the other. At some point, he told me to wait for the season to end. Season ended Carlo had only Bundesliga to his name. Crashed out to RM and Dortmund in the other tourneys. He gave every excuse on earth but none at Carlo. It was the refs or individuals. Second season started. If Carlo felt his team was not good shebi he would have signed more? He got all the players he wanted. One bad pre-season game after another but the resident oaf did a Houdini and pulled excuses out his ärse; Pep's team peaked too early Carlo is trying to fix it and so on. Then main season started and the trend continued. Ralph Honigstein spoke Oga said Ralph should shut up. Players spoke - he blamed them instead. We saw what PSG did to them and that was the tipping point. But the dingbat said nothing was wrong with the tactics and that he only blamed Carlo for not signing one winger. Are you kidding me? Bayern's evident issues could be solved with one winger and only oga knew it? Anyways, you get the point. The Board rushed. The players themselves did not step up - some should get injured, sold or even die. Pep did not buy anything and destroyed every thing he inherited. Journalists don't know what they are talking about. The real fans are unrealistic. Carlo's tactics were on point - he only needed one Winger. All because Dumbo will not accept that the limb he went out on is broken. |
I literally waited for this. I can't believe this is what you had to offer. I'd wait for you to edit it and stuff it up by adding more patois without paragraphs. You know, your usual unlettered style. Suicidal bomber that is trying to make sure he takes the crowd along. You are the only Glory Hunter here. LOL |
You're so unoriginal and boring my eyes are hurting. Even if I started supporting Barca today I would be less of a derelict than you who dumped a team to support another within the same sport. Yet you did not have a modicum of decorum to keep your previous team out your mouth. Apish to the bone; you Googled Glory Hunter and stopped at number 8. Let me help you post the rest of it: 9. does not know the history, chants or culture of the club 10. always in the armchair during matchdays 11. uses the talk of tactics and transfers to compensate for the lack of all round knowledge of the club (history and culture of the clubs, attendance of games, lack of knowledge or care factor about the direction of the club off field etc.) 12. will not be effected by football tragedies as much as locals 13. will often be the most biased towards to compensate for the glory hunter status 14. will show more hate for other clubs (even their previous clubs) to compensate for their glory hunter status 15. have a club in their own country, don't have the guts to support them 16. will never talk about the years before the club started to become successful 17. at games (if attended) will be the quiet ones who never chant or make a noise You are not even deceiving anyone. They know who you are. Costa gets more love from Conte than you do from the Bayern fans on here. I'm actually feeling bad as I hate to strike a man when he is down. You have been going off and on waiting...hoping I go to bed so you can have the last word - Pu$$¥. Some how in your slavish pathetic world you think having the last word makes up for your Glory Hunting, Dayo cum slurping life - mixed with numerous gaffes and illogic. Let me let you have the last post: so you can post another 31lines before a paragraph. Dumbo. |
What is the point of claiming Pep did not replace X and Y on a day Carlo is sacked? If they teach you English, they will also teach you logic and inference. Deductive reasoning - the whole shebang. Why am I even wasting my time. I told you. Your legacy on NL; Peripatetic Glory Hunter. PS: Carlo was fired. Pep was begged to stay back. |
On this thread, Dumbo said Pep's tactics were worse than Carlo's. The evidence on ground shows he was as usual talking through his ärse. You blamed Pep for not replacing ad infinitum list. Blamed the players for not manning up. Blamed the board for being knee-jerk. Evaded tactics and only blamed Carlo for not signing another winger. In a game that Bayern lost 3-0 you typed here that It has been one inane point to another. Klopp's Dortmund this. Jupp that. When they point out that both teams were imperfect you start reasserting rubbish that won't even come out from Hensbrain's handle. You are being exposed to the football section on Nairaland as nothing but a follow follow Glory Hunter with all the quirks of a housefly that would rather get buried with the corpse. Uli Hoeness has shown you Pep is no fraud. Carlo has shown you Pep is no fraud - even the bereaved i.e true Bayern fans have steered clear of your folly. So which team did you support when Arsenal played Bayern? Ask me the same question when GSW and Barca are to play themselves. To add to that, how would I face my friends when they see me trolling a team I once supported? Atleast, we know you have no true friends. You are a disgrace with a crate of eggs on your face. Even on a thread where you should have had home advantage the fans deserted you because you are not one of them. You are a footballing vagrant - a bum of Kim Kardashian proportions. I am sure somewhere in your nomadic footballing life (perhaps 1995) you supported Blackburn. I won't be surprised if you have alternate IDs supporting PSG and RM. It is very much in your DNA. You have no loyalty. No stance. Nothing. You have wasted the possessions your father gave you after you coerced him to give you your inheritance by force. Go back to the Arsenal thread as they are the only one's to accept their prodigal son before I destroy what is left of your miserable existence on this Bayern thread. |
hardeycute:When Perez sacks Zidane this season tell him to go and coach Liverpool and not spend so he won't be called a fraud you hear? |
hardeycute:Anything that helps you sleep at night. You might as well say Pep should use Girona to win La Liga to prove himself. The rules are different for him according to you madridiots. |
hardeycute:I know your club more than you. Don't tell me you are a Gl.... I rest my case abeg. |
hardeycute:Zidane had more experience than Pep when he took over Barca. But few matches in, Bern Schuster lost his job because he told Perez and co that RM will be under Barca for years to come. He was right. Call him what you like. Those who know, know. |
hardeycute:Keep shifting the goal post. No longer fraud now paycheck manager. I thought you were claiming Zidane won a CDR final- I corrected you and you are telling me a Mou team bla bla. Take your lessons son. Did Unai Emery not spend more this season? Why would PSG need to spend more than City? Answer on a postcard. |
hardeycute:So what was Mou's achievement in RM? Zidane could barely beat a City team that could not beat any of the top 7 teams in England. West Ham and Leicester did doubles on that City team. Or beating ATM on penalties is tactics? Zidane's only achievement is the back to back and huge credit to him for it. But that is where it stops. He still has seniors and mentors - ask him. |
hardeycute:Oga, forget tori. Were Madrid signing players for show? Where is the treble? What CDR loss? Which Zidane? Are you pulling stories out ya ärse? Pep was CDR shy of doing another sextuple in his 3rd season. 2 clean goals from Pedro and Messi disallowed only for Tapnaldo to head in a 107th min winner. That was a Mou team. I even know your team more than you. Gee, Einstein, Pelle coached Sagna and Clichy 3/4 years ago. Today, City begged a Turk team to buy him and Sagna is clubless. B!tch sit down. Be humble. |
hardeycute:How much did RM spend from 2008 to now? Where is your club's treble never mind Quadruple? What if I tell you Pep never lost at Santiago with Barca what would you say? You have forgotten the 6-2 and 2-0 (like 3 times) wins he had there abi? Who found him out? Turkey-playing Clichy and clubless Sagna. Can RM give him just Marcelo and see what he would achieve with him? Enrique won 13 trophies in 3 seasons? Enrique got to how many Semis with Barca ( I mean with MSN)? Pitiful. |
VivaLaByke:*laughing in fraudian* ![]() |
hardeycute:Yea, fraud. Also Zidane's mentor. Chief Tormentor of RM and perpetual conqueror of Santiago Bernabeu. Come and win UCL this year. We are watching you. |
Thank you for also reminding us that RM scored from 3 set pieces. Pep should have told his defenders how to outjump Sergio Ramos or told Neuer how to set his wall. Losing to 29 year old Ronaldo, 27 year old Benzema, 25 year old Bale, 26 year old Di Maria etc issa huge deal whereas losing to the same players (bar Di Maria) 3 years older is not. Losing to Mbappé, Cavani and Neymar is not a big deal but losing to prime Messi, Suarez and Neymar issa big one (even when Robben, Ribery, Lahm, Lewy are all injured). Since 2001/02 Bayern made the semis thrice before Pep. In his time he made it 3 times but they want to tell you he was a fraud. Anyways, how would they know? They were supporting Arsenal that time. All we know is, Carlo 'Better than Pep' Ancelloti was fired but Pep was begged to stay with €18M per annum. Deal with it. |
Neymar1095: ![]() So someone who supports Mayweather cannot support Undertaker because...conflict of interest. We know you are a Glory Hunter cum perpetual sidekick now we have to add patron saint of illogic. You say Pep is a fraud for making rare mistakes and I show you how balanced Manager made his own. Doofus turned around and restated Pep's mistake then started mouthing tommyrot about own goal. Just like if someone says "Hazard is better than Neymar because Neymar dives too much" and you say "But Hazard dives as well". Bobo will tell you "Neymar dives as well" and start claiming own goal. Same person that said Carlo will do better. They fired Carlo he say na Pep fault. If Carlo's wife does not do reverse Cow Girl, Oga will also say it is Pep's fault. The real Bayern fans kuku left him to his fate. Who wants to be associating with such a Glory Hunting L-Magnate. |
"Ottmar Hitzfeld has dismissed suggestions Pep Guardiola has been a failure at Bayern Munich despite yet another Champions League exit at the semi-final hurdle. Asked if Guardiola has been a failure at Bayern, Hitzfeld told Bild: "There is only one answer to this question: No, he hasn't. Guardiola isn't treated fairly. He improved Bayern and the whole Bundesliga. "Everyone who does not recognise it is sensational that Guardiola led Bayern to three Champions League semi-finals in a row is clueless. "Normally a team who won the treble [as Bayern did in 2013] falls into a hole. They are not that hungry anymore, you ease up. "But Guardiola protected Bayern from that case and made the players greedy. He instilled Bayern with a passing quality like never before. He made them play high-speed football. "I think Guardiola will only get the appreciation he deserves in Germany in a few months. Often you only realise how good someone was when he is already gone. "I also don't agree with the critics who claim Guardiola did not identify himself enough with Bayern. If you saw him on the sidelines you know how much passion he gave for this club." " |
Neymar1095:Leicester won the "hardest league in the world" and nobody was pricing their players £40M and above. People know what quality is. They support London team today, tomorrow they support German team and start insulting London team. Bipolar disorder for eternity. Asperger's syndrome suffering Sheldon Cooper; zero knowledge of sarcasm with none of Sheldon's wit or intelligence; If you say they should rehire the "balanced" manager, Glory Hunter will start waffling about 73 and 68 years old. You lost your voice when Carlo got sacked. You are being laughed at hard. Oga, hold your L and use it as a sign of the cross. |
Me I think an oversabi is the one who will not listen to 1. The Board that got Carlo sacked. 2. The players that got Carlo sacked. 3. The Journalists that wanted Carlo sacked. 4. The "Real" Fans that wanted Carlo sacked. Anyways, you would not know anything about number 4 considering... This is from a Bayern thread. Happy reading. https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/72zdxy/is_it_time_we_revisited_peps_stint_at_bayern/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=comment_list And BTW, PSG and RM will accept you when you port. That will forever be your legacy on NL; Glory Hunter. ![]() |
![]() If Pep took Jupp's glory. Jupp took Van Gaal's. Pep does not need Carabao cup to prove anything. The one's he won in Bayern apparently mean nothing. The one that is cracking me up is Monaco with exclamation. The Monaco that raw-dogged the Dortmund that prevented "better-than-Pep" Carlo's double? The Monaco of £182M Mbappé, £92M Lemar, £54M Mendy, £45M Bernardo Silva, £40M Bakayoko? That Monaco? ![]() Win-the-league-with-record-goals-scored Monaco? The main issue is "did his response address the issues raised against him in Kachikwu's memo?" My submission is that it did, and those responses even made Kachikwu end up with egg on his face. Even the explanation Baru gave shows how each step was followed, as well as how the financing and approvals for the contracts were obtained. If Kachikwu had gone through the processes deployed in awarding each contract and found flaws in them, he would have had a better case. Kachikwu needs to manage his staff better, and drop his ego.
