iPopAlomo:The last person that called me Winners Chapel. I am a prophet. |
Curry made the Tunnel shot! I repeat, Curry made the Tunnel shot! It is usually a good sign. ![]() |
Spy360:I told you, there is nothing like more excuses. It is about filling the positions that are left unoccupied. It is not about signing who he "wants". If that were the case he would have gone for Marcelo, De Gea, Messi etc. It is about signing who he needs based on who he has let go. Once those spots are filled, let other managers sign as much as they need to too, he would still win it. That is what I am saying. Quote me. |
Khaytunechi:Everyone is free to get who they feel they need. Nobody is holding them. It is you people that criticized him for going trophyless even when we told you he had to sort out some of the glaring issues in different transfer windows. Now he is fixing the issues and you guys are still complaining. |
Tval:The etc is because he let players go and hopes to replace them. Navas, Sagna, Clichy, Zaba. So he needs a RWB, RB, LB to replace them. He might get 1 more CB. These are the positions that City were seriously wanting in even before he arrived. If he gets them, he would win the league and one other domestic trophy. Quote me. |
How much was Paid for Buffon 18 years ago? He is 40 today and worth every penny of it. The fee for Ederson is not the issue. It is the market today and he is highly rated. What I see people do here is conceal their fears that Pep is covering the loopholes in City - the same loopholes we told you guys existed last season that he could nothing about. Anyways, Spy360, I made no predictions last time but I am here to make one now; if he signs the players he is trying to get - Mendy, Kyle Walker etc. HE WOULD WIN THE LEAGUE. |
SmooshCHN:Definitely not Klay. Klay said he wanted GSW to draft him from Washington because he wanted to play with Curry. They are really close. He sees Curry as a mentor. |
SmooshCHN:It is just for a year and he would be better paid after 2018. The issue is Klay in 2019 but even that won't matter. We can pay luxury if it comes to that. KD has made San Francisco his home. He has established his businesses here and brought his family members over - even networking with some Silicon valley execs. Besides, it is totally better than Oklahoma. It is looking longer term for him and by extension GSW. But then again, winning this first ring is key to it all. |
Una dey fear me with all these GSW predictions. I sense some of y'all want to jinx us by doing it. I thought we were on the verge of losing game 1 to the Spurs and how unstoppable Cavs are. That underdog narrative has to stop. I say this at the risk of sounding repetitive but KD was a free agent and the rest of this team were created through the drafts. A lot of players are underpaid to keep things this way and besides we lost our bench just for him. The talk that the NBA commissioner should have swooped in to forestall this assemblage as Stern did with CP3 needs to rest. Along with the one about CAVS trading and overpaying players just to keep a team of all stars being similar with ours. It is not. We got lucky with the drafts SC was 7th, Klay 11th or so, Dray 35th. Nothing about these numbers show that we were creating a super team. The same cannot be said about the Cavs. Kyrie and LBJ alone are number 1s. TT was number 4 in his class if I am not mistaken and same or thereabouts for Klove. birdman: |
We are in the 21st century and when all is said and done Barcelona will be named the greatest team of this century. |
PietroRico:Damned if he does, damned if he does not. Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez finished 3rd with the Europa Cup for CFC but he was let go.#Perspective |
eph12:...and their 'stats' showed it. |
Chelseafan1:So we can also agree that Neymar is better since whoscored and co rate him so? ![]() |
Chelseafan1:You can't have it both ways. You have to accept that Kante was CFCs best player this season to use the PFA as a reason to disqualify Sanchez as being better than Hazard. |
You guys should accept your L in peace and tranquillity. Your team overperformed this season. You are not that good and next season will prove this assertion right. I bet you are still reeling from the loss so you are passing through the various stages of grief. Stage 1 I believe is denial which is what is happening here. Your team was thoroughly outplayed. From start to finish Arsene figured your team out tactically and ensured his players followed his tactics to a T. Even if the first goal was controversial, what about the copious chances that should have ensured AFC were 3goals up before half time? What about the many half chances they had in the 2nd half that could have made that scoreline embarrassing? You want to nitpick and say the energy you saw from your team was iffy but don't you think it was as a result of complacency? Every bookmaker favored you guys. Even AFC fans were a bit despondent and this energy got translated into your team players who thought they could just show up and win going by antecedents. But I guess you received a rude shock yesterday. The fact remains Moses deserved his red (because if his plan had worked Ox would have been yellow maybe red carded and CFC would have been given a goal they clearly did not deserve). Diego Costa's goal was rather fortuitous as well. If the game was fixed Ospina should be charged for not showing stronger gloves when he parried a rather tame shot into his own goal. See, you cannot have it both ways. I enjoin CFC fanatics worldwide to just eat their humble pie and lock up. No match was fixed. The better team on the day won. Alonso's goal in the Stamford bridge game too should have been ruled off as an infringement seeing that he clearly fouled Bellerin before heading the ball into the post. Why the lack of controversy? |
Decale:Ofcourse I know the ALL NBA is not about positions, that is why I am making my case for Klay and Butler even though they listed Jimmy as an SF. Again, I could have decided to argue about Deandre being on the list but it is not the crux of my point. The lists are questionable there is no gainsaying that. After all, Klay is not on the list. I am using the list to make an argument for Klay being top 15. LOL, it is not about numbers. In fact, numbers is the only reason Derozan is on that list. Defensively Klay shytes on him and offensively, one can argue Klay will outdo him if he was the primary scorer of his team. Klay also created his shots better this year. He was the leader of the 2nd team for GSW. Jimmy might pass better but he is not even that great of a passer. I am glad you know Klay was better defensively, on offense, Jimmy averaged 22.4ppg as the top man for Bulls. Klay had 22.3 as the number 3 option. You say e no matter because e no get weight and no occupy space ![]() The point I was even trying to make is that Klay has an argument as a top 15 player and so does Kyrie (even though both do not make the All NBA team). I am actually agreeing with you that Cavs and GSW measure out. |
Decale:Hayward and Cousins are not SGs last I checked so his spot is not being contended with them. |
Decale:Butler did not have more impact than Klay whether on the moon or on earth. That is your Bulls' talking. Butler is the primary scoring option for his team and Klay was number 3 yet averaged about the same with him and eclipsed him totally defensively. I mentioned Butler with respect to the ALL NBA team that was announced as that gives us an indication about the top 15 players in the league. That is why I clearly said I DON'T KNOW ABOUT TOP 10 but that he and not Butler should have made that All NBA team (thus placing him top 15). Derozan, Beal and McCollum are numbers 1, 2, 2 scoring options to heavy Iso teams and Klay was number 3 yet their numbers don't far outclass his with less efficiency as well. When Klay became number 2 option in GSW (When KD got injured) Klay played substantially better than all those players listed above bar none. Post season is post season. If that were not the case, SC should be above Harden and Westbrook in the MVP race. Again, I wonder why I tend to be the most misread poster on this thread; I lucidly, explicitly, unobstrusively, unencumberedly, unhesitantly declared that I am not talking about top 10 but that I can make an argument for top 15 based on that ALL NBA team. I guess "recency bias" is the reason the 2 people that liked your post did that. His playoffs form is beclouding people's judgment about his regular season form. |
SmooshCHN:Even with KD and after that Dec 25 loss, pundits kept saying Cavs have GSWs number. I wonder when the narrative changed to make them underdogs. |
aliondo:LOL, you figured it out. |
Decale:I don't know about top 10 players but on that all NBA team Klay and not Butler should have made that list. As a Bulls fan you may not agree, but Klay was and is clearly better than Butler. |
Jordan be like, "Don't talk to or about me, woman. Stay in your lane". |
SmooshCHN:He is actually right. Defending GSW just includes slamming, close-lining and shoving Curry and Klay while refs swallow their whistle. |
Decale:You are right apart from the KD part. How is your babalawo doing though? ![]() |
While Kyrie appears to be clutcher than LBJ, he just seems to be a player that will put big numbers and lose games without LBJ. Look at game 3 for instance, 4/6 from 3 29pts on the board but Cavs go on to lose the game because Bron had only 11. In game 4, for all Kyrie's heroics when LBJ sat due to foul trouble, Celts were still 10 up which was the same before Bron sat. This gives the impression that Kyrie can only do so much without Lebron. The Ws and Ls without Lebron even add to this fact. When LBJ sits, Cavs lose but Bron can cope without Kyrie and co. He has already done it in a few games in this playoffs. So what is the point to this? For a healthy Cavs to beat an equally healthy GSW team, Lebron has to play out of his mind even more so than he did last season. And I think that is highly unlikely. The reasoning behind this is facile: If refs allow all the shoving and pushing of Klay and SC like they did last time. If they try to snuff out the 3pt shooting of Draymond. They are left with that 7foot conundrum in KD - A player already difficult to guard even when double-teamed. There are other intricacies that go into this thought. Korver, Deron and JR Smith will be peppered by GSWs defense. KLove and TT are great rebounders and hustlers but their game depends on that of the main stars in LBJ and Kyrie who cannot iso the team into another ring. Shaun Livingston is hitting all his jumpers as well. A 6'7 guard who is going to be a matchup nightmare for any of Cavs guards. Then, SC was clearly hurt last time out and has been playing significantly free this time around. Once he starts aggresively taking on the man infront of him, it will lead to double-teams that would keep exposing Cavs to multiple free shooters not named Harrison Barnes. Anyways, the only thing that can plug all these holes is LBJ playing better than he did in last season's games 5, 6 and 7. It might be my GSW bias screaming, but I don't see that happening. |
Donlittle:I am so excited. Somebody hold me. ![]() |
Was about to type that SMOOSHCHN. They should attack the rim more Korver has no defence. That Jerebrko guy abi wetin dem dey call am should stop shooting sheesh. |
Impressed by what I have seen so far with the Celts. Good ball movement with the right length to worry Cavs. If they pace themselves the way they have started and snuff out the 3-ball from Cavs completely they stand a slim chance. End of 1st Q 28-19 in Boston's favor. |
showbobo:http://www.nbastreams.me/478768/2/cleveland-cavaliers-vs-boston-celtics-live-stream-online.html Try this. |
SmooshCHN:I am not going to pretend I am not happy we had it easy but a little disappointed we did not play Spurs at their very best. It might just be God's way of rewarding us for the many years we suffered in their hands. Certainly looking forward to the finals but I am cautiously optimistic. We need Iggy and Klay back man - especially Klay in the offense. Yea, respect Manu sha..in 04/05 when I was a Pistons fan I really hated him. He was Pop's trump card that year. KD and Curry flourished in the WCFs man. If Klay can join in, Cavs have no chance even with the refs. |
