You don't think it's worthy of note that the police is changing their motive for inviting him? They first said he needed to present himself to a police station nearest to him because the gang leaders confessed he knew about the robbery, before saying he didn't need to appear but should rather send a written statement? Their first press statement was played on the T.V! What's now your point?

If truly you read the first press statement of the Police by the spokeperson who said a sitting governor is a drowing man, then you would sharpen your understanding that the gang leader said the Senate President had nothing to do with the robbery.

It seems you've not been following the news at all. Go back to the press statement by the spokeperson of the Nigerian police. He categorically said based on the confession of the gang leaders, the Senate President knew about the robbery and must submit himself to the nearest police station to him!

The gang leaders said he knew nothing about robbery. What would a Senate President want with a robbery with hundreds of millions they allocate to themselves?

Nigeria is where it is today, so backward because of the North. And those people who prioritise Islam over civiliazation and mordernization are opposing restructuring but they will fail.

Still, the guy has not presented his WAEC certificate. It is only in an African country that people like Buhari could become a president.
