This country is finished. I don't care whether they were bought during GEJ or any other regime. The fact that this govt is delightfully keeping them at the cost of the nation's purse is a scary feat which any concerned citizen should frown at, except for the mischief makers who feed fat to protect the corruption of the presidency.
One day they shall account for their wastage and how they ruled this country where bribery and corruption will not be the order of the day!

uuspace: What happened was that u did not place a price limit on your mandate.I suggest next time u give ur broker a mandate, put a price limit or tell them the price you want it to be bought.
:
My broker was like that until I started giving him some mathematical equations with equality symbols thus:

if x is less than or equal to y then buy, else ignore.
if x is greater than or equal to y then sell, else ignore.
my y is normally the closing price of yesterday or less/more depending on buy/sell mandate. x being the buy or sell price.

This has been working as I always get results, keeps me wondering why he never bothered to put in my interest in the business before!

mercylicious: Buy and sell not more than 1.67 (mandatory fees and vat inclusive)

This is against almost 3.8 we normally pay for buy and sale.
Ok, I need to get a bargain near that price. Mine is 2.5% all in all for buy, not sure of the sell.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Ess: 11:38am On Oct 02, 2013
mercylicious: From the mail I posted, the nse and other mandatory fees are still there- 0.3%, its only the brokers fee that was drastically reduced and I see the sense in it. They will make a lot of money from traders. The more transactions we make(cos of the reduced fees) the more money they make, besides, trading is going online with xgen so they will be having less staff as customers will be executing their trades. They have automated a lot of things too. They will just need few csu and few mkters. Turnover is what they will use to conquer the mkt.
Make I go search for the book on how to benefit from the volatility of the mkt.
So in essence what is the gross charge?

Chuzzyrules: Dear ISPs,

With a heavy and sad heart, i write to you all on behalf of the general people of Nigeria who day in day out are on the internet serching for tricks and tweaks on how to bypass the restrictions you guys have placed for access your networks.

Personally i love to pay for services i use but dont want to be exploited. You guys have made a lot of money in this nation. Starting from the days you sold sim cards for 30,000 naira till date that we now get the simcards for 100 naira. If development must come to this nation, some things such as this should be put in check.

I have a feeling that after reading this, there will be a positive response in no time from you all.. i want to make a suggestion that all data types ranging from the normal mobile plan through blackberry,blackberry10,android,IOS,pc etc, become capless. let them all become unlimited data and then you can make a flat rate of 1500 naira or 2000 at most monthly "for the main time".. When this is done, the common man will at least be able to afford this and it will help.

Students in our Nigerian schools are often accused of their lecturers as being lazy but is that true? absolutely NO! not all of them can afford the means of internet research which is more direct. i have come to understand that majority of the information i read over the internet tends to stick faster.

Please i want to beg you all to please come to our aid. we want development in our country and if all sectors can employ simple measures as this, we will be where we aspire to in no time.

Thanks in anticipation

Chuzzy

Morgan capital has reduced their brokerage commision from 1.35% to 0.25% to All customers. That makes a savings of 2.2% on ur buy and sell. That's much money if I must say. And existing customers have confirmed good service.

I've written my broker, if he cannot match it, am porting asap. Before now, I've been begging them for 1% and they have not granted it. Now its 0.25% or pure water.
And I have been paying 2.5%. huh sad huh

Duke_Nija: @ cashkid18 Its am I supposed to comment..

Ok. Back to the issue.
If Jonathan wants to support the Kenyan government its perfect by me and I would most certainly do so if I am president.
Goodluck Jonathan has been able to contain and curtail the excesses of a desperate and destructively wicked sect.
I believe as a big brother country, Nigeria should be able to provide military support in terms of soldiers and logistics to fight Al shabaab.
Terrorism anywhere is terrorism everywhere. Who knows, "The roach you failed to kill, might end up in your pot of soup"
That roach will metamorphose and come to Nigeria if we go along that line. We have BH and cant afford a joint Alshabab-BH insurgency, that na die!
I hope ur likes never come close to leadership!

isi4: Jonathan not in New York with 600-man delegation – Abati
on september 22, 2013 at 10:29 pm in news
Reuben Abati Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) has denied reports that the President is leading a 600-man delegation to the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Abati made this known in a statement which reads thus
‘We have noted with regret the continuation today by Saharareporters.com of its usual scurrilous and baseless attacks on the Jonathan Administration with publication of a false claim that the President is leading a 600-man delegation to the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
While we trust that discerning members of the public who are already very familiar with Sahara Reporters’ usual fare of mischief, outright falsehood and erroneous speculation will rightly dismiss this latest claim as a fresh manifestation of the online medium’s ill-will towards President Jonathan and his administration, we wish to affirm for the benefit of the unwary that there is absolutely no truth in the allegation that the President took a 600-man delegation to New York.
There is also no substance to the rehashed charge of profligacy which Sahara reporters annually makes against the President when he leads Nigeria’s delegation to the UN General Assembly.
The truth is that less than 30 persons arrived in New York with the President this morning as members of his entourage. Other than them, the only other persons who are in New York for the UN General Assembly with the President’s knowledge and approval are relevant ministers and few essential aides.
President Jonathan’s official delegation is definitely not out of proportion with Nigeria’s size, role and relevance in Africa and the global community.
Sahara Reporters’ claim that the President’s delegation is the largest at this year’s General Assembly is an unjustifiable fabrication which can never stand any rigorous test of truthfulness.
We are certainly aware that many Nigerian citizens are currently on visits to New York. These persons are here for their own purposes and neither President Jonathan nor his administration has any responsibility for the presence of these persons in New York.
We will not be surprised if it is such persons who include Nigerian businessmen who are here for an African Business Roundtable event, members of non-governmental organizations and tourists that Sahara Reporters has been counting, for the sole purpose of mischief-making, as “members of the Nigerian delegation”.
Haha, Abati has confirmed it...see foolishness.
We all know when Govt gives a figure, just add another zero to have actual figure.
Hence 30 = 300
few essential aides = 300
Total = 600.
SR has done it again...exposing the wicked and clueless Govt!
Kudos to you!

He is occupied with his 2015 ambition, the country is on fire, he cares not, ASUU strike doesnt concern him.... is he not becoming a BADLUCK? Haven't i wasted my vote like this?
