fredoricko: " i am not qualify as eligible immigrant to issued a US visit visa....dat i should reapply in future.""
Above is an extract form ur statement. Were those the exact words of the officer?? If I omit the error in grammar, I think this pretty much means the applicant has filed an immigration suit, and as such,is not eligible for a tourist visa.
#Prof. FredoRicko Bros me sef na copy i copy the post from a different thread. I just relax dey wait for my travelling date. As a prof now, I hope say VO no go yarn nonsense for you again.. |

PRODUTIM1: Please kindly help me with some reasons why my visa was later denied. Here is my interview experience at US embassy abuja. My interview is scheduled at 8:00am on Wednesday 11 march, 2015, but i arrived there 30mins before, here goes the interview:
Me: Good Morning Madam VO: Gud morning VO: Where are u going? Me: I replied V.O: What re u going there to do? Me: I replied V.O: Where re u working? Me: I replied V.O: What is ur designation? And can u tell me ur role? Me: I replied V.O: Have u traveled before? Me: I replied - Kenya nd Dubai V.O: K...type something on system, and later gave me "Visa issued collecting paper" Me: I collected it frm her and said "thank you". And immediately i left. But on d day i was preparing to go nd collect my issued visa (Friday), i received a call from US embassy that i am invited for an interview either Tuesday or Thursday nxt wk...wen i got there on Tuesday, the V.O greeted me wit smile "Gud Afternoon" and just handed over my intl passport back to me and said she was sorry that there was an information received about me after my interview which proved that i am not qualify as eligible immigrant to issued a US visit visa....dat i should reapply in future. Just came across this on a different thread. Oya brainstorm! |

Pennywise: @Ess Thank you very much. Your feedback is encouraging and very helpful. Enjoy your vacation. A good income means they took time to look at your statements. In the ds160 form there is a place to state your income. They hardly look at statements indeed. |

Pennywise: All I see here is conference, conference. Can someone not visit the US with his wife just to have fun without having to involve conference, friends or perhaps family? I have an Egbon who is precisely in this situation. He applied about 10yrs ago with his wife and they were denied. He did a formal protest letter on what he considered a sham interview and was told to reapply after 6mths. He couldnt be bothered and decided America can go to hell. But you can only ignore that country for so long. He is in his early 40s now and he wants to visit. He has no wish to go through conference, friends or family. He is too proud. All he wants is a hotel reservation. A really good one like the Waldorf in New York for 2weeks. Only 2 kids. Both in grade A schools in Europe. He is in the private sector, untainted by public office and politics. Egbon has all the usual compliments of a fit and proper person in wholesale amount if they care to look. But we know they frequently dont. So without conference, friends and family or some kind of creative imagination to hoodwink an ECO, what really are his chances at the moment? I got my visa last month with wife and son. We are going for vacation and not any conference. If he has a good income and family travel experience, he can apply for pure tourism and let him know all the major tourist landmarks in the state of interest. |

chloe7: Hello house for those who have gotten their visas approved and wants to travel, Etihad airways is doing a global sale that ends tomorrow and the prices are quite reasonable. Cheers Thanks, Turkish airline too did from Abuja last month, not sure if it is still on. Got mine at less thank 200k plus 3 days stop over in Istanbul on my return just to see the city. Going to US via UAE will not be funny sha as you have to go wayyy off your track and then start the trip again, toooo long. Even the turkish air is a bit long compared to transiting in UK. The best is a direct flight sha. |

Dear Moms and Dads,
Can we also have an idea of which bank's ATM has less charges and give best exchange rate. Also visa or mastercard which is better? This will also aid in making our financial decisions. |

LeonessAug: Been a while dearies. Congrats to all new mums.
Just want to share my recent experience with my Dropbox.
Our visas (mine, daughter and hubby) is expiring this Feb so we decided to renew end of Jan due to all this election brouhaha.
We applied for Dropbox and hubby got called that we should show up any Monday or Wednesday BTW 12 & 2pm for an interview. I was shocked because I know few people that weren't called during their renew process.
We chose to go this past Monday and the interview went thus:
Hello Hello
You had your baby when? July 2014
Can I see the receipts? Handed over the receipt
How much were you billed? $2888
Is this with doctor's fee and ..? Yes
What? Its not possible (Scratching his head and still insisting its not possible. I handed over my zero balance and told him to call them for clarification.
Still terrified and asked where I and hubby works, what we do where we work. Countries we've visited. Why we are traveling again.
Lastly, pick up your visas on Thursday.
Whew!
A lady I met was also called and she came from Port Harcourt and had her baby in the US. I couldn't wait to know the outcome of her interview.
Pls ensure you get all your documents intact and your zero balance is highly important regardless of how much you paid. I beg how your total bill be 2888 only and which hospital is that? |

chloe7: LadyGuinivere and my other well wishers so I woke up this morning with encouragement to reapply for my visa in abuja again after all my prayers because my baby must be an American, I forgot that before giving up on the 2nd, so i'll start out the process again from the beginning tomorrow and book an appointment in abuja for when i'm back from the u.k in a month's time. I need sincere advice from everyone here. God bless you all. Has anything changed regarding those issues raised during your last interviews? I feel you ought to wait a lil till probably you finally get married and travel somewhere together. Abuja VOs were not so nice the day I was there on the 2nd of feb. But I feel they were doing their job sha cause mostly what we discuss here are what they ask just to confirm your tie and eligibility. Anyway the ball is in ur court as you have the final call. Goodluck. |

chloe7: well as for me i've given up on this American race for now at least, what am I going to look for in Gambia, Kenya, Senegal ,only business carries me abroad abeg my money never plenty reach to dey tour and vacation, when America tire dem go give me visa Well hard luck. I was due same day with you but in Abuja. What I saw im Abuja wasn't so rosy as barely 30% got the visa. And truely most of them didn't actually qualify IMHO. What I advise is for people to have travel experience and if married should be together. Also a good job and then being married as another strong tie. Most of the interview questions revolve around these 3 especially for tourism visa. While for conference/trainings. You should focus on: - how did you get to know about the conference/training? - knowing what the conf is all about and how it relates to your work/study My lil advise. BTW I was successful, as a family visa interview. Transcript later.. .. |

"What is the Oando/ConocoPhillips transaction anyway? For those who do not know this is a private sale of the assets of ConocoPhillips to Oando. It was not patronage of any kind from the Federal government. The Federal government’s involvement was merely to formally consent to the sale. I was not involved and I have never been involved in any of Oando’s transactions. Typically he plays on the fact that Wale Tinubu of Oando is my nephew. Oando has been thoroughly investigated by South African and British authorities in the past 5 years as part of the process of listing the company on the stock exchanges of those countries. Those rigorous and comprehensive investigations conducted by the governments and risk control investigators are to discover the actual ownership of shares in the company. Politically exposed persons like myself are prime targets for those investigations. All these investigations have shown that I have no investments in Oando. My public position on the entire transaction is that if an indigenous Nigerian oil and gas entity run by young serious minded Nigerians raise money transparently in the international capital markets to purchase private assets of a multi-national the Federal government ought to give its consent. That it took so long is shameful. The Conoco/Phillips transaction was a $1.7 billion dollars investment in Nigeria that would create more jobs, witness the establishment of allied industries and make the Nigerian Economy more attractive. I would have been extremely proud to have made such a transaction possible." Senator Bola A. Tinubu Na copy and paste things, no link and too lazy to search for it, so manage. |
