Single motherhood is difficult, especially because of the potential for problems. More conflict, less education, substance use and more sexual risk taking are more likely in daughters of single mothers.

They are often an emotional wreck.

signature2012 It's 2023 for Godsake.
You guys should stop this stereotype.
Many of us any had a single parents in our life and we become the best of best in the society while those with both parents upbringing can't stand where we stand.

Fyi, it's still the same men that made these mothers single.

I was on IG few weeks ago, a video on Reels pop up on my page. This lady was crying bitterly and cursing the kidnappers that kidnapped her husband, got ransom money and still killed him.
She just gave birth to Twins.
I can bet the kidnappers are male like the Op.
From the video, this lady make not get married again and focus on the kids.

Though, I won't lie. Fathers play a significant role in a child growth, but when he is not there, won't the child still growhuh?

As a male, I have few friends who are deadbeats around me.I do fight them a lot from playing their fatherly role. You Dont have to be with the mother of your kids to play your part.

I know of one or two old men begging their kids now for forgiveness because they were not there when the kids needed them.

DEAR MEN, STOP BEING A DEADBEAT!!!!
And to the ladies, be careful out there, Dont let some little money he spent on your open your leg and assume he is responsible. Also, trying to have good character helps build a good relationship with your man.

When a responsible person speaks you know, most guys on this forum are myopic, looking at everything from one side that favors their argument, and I believe majority of thus class of people that talk bad about women were raised or comes from irresponsible home or ghetto where they have no regards for any one. A responsible and well raised man will never talk trash of women knowing that everyone came through a woman or have one in their lives.

It's also shows how shallow most Nigerian men are, you will hardly hear ladies calling men names even though they have irresponsible fathers but no week will pass without the men making a post about women on this forum, why the obsession about women, can't you guys talk about other things?

akaahs:
When putting a thread like this, try to differentiate it. Is it single mothers that lost their partners due to death or single mothers that pick babies from men and refuse their children the presence of fatherhood or baby mamas.
From most comments, you will agree that people understand who a 'typical' single mother is. Those other ones you mentioned are regarded as Widows, not really single-mothers per se.

For the sake of emphasis, write it down today: A Widow is not 'really' a Single Mother. The word Single, in this context, implies Not married, either not ever married, or once married but divorced. A Single Mother can also be a mother who is presently married, but not presently married to the biological father of the lady in discourse.

Thanks, if you understand.

You put 1,500ltr tank for the tenant and the water finishes in one day because of the crowd and you have to use electricity to pump 3 times more than usual, even your borehole will hear it.
Your septic tank fills up faster than is expected
You may need to replace or repair your gate after a short while due to constant opening...I mean, will they all go out at once?
You repaint more often, other facilities get broken faster because they are meant for a few people and not a crowd undecided
okay now I get your point. Still not enough reason to deny people rentage based on their tribe.

Yes, they are.
If you are in an office dominated by yorubas, and you don't understand the language,, you're a gonner, cos the meeting is held in Yoruba and their official language at work is also yoruba
Very true. Yorubas avoid those not from their tribe.

there are so many instances to explain that ladies are Hypocrites.

Ladies would dress nude or almost naked. Yet struggle to cover some part of her body with handkerchief when she feels someone is looking at her. Hypocrisy. A woman of easy virtue should not suddenly pretend to be modest. Hypocrisy.

This generation made up of hypocrites and 20-something females are arguably the most contradictory people out there.

We complain about not having any money but we buy 8-dollar coffees from Starbucks.
We claim that we don’t care about Instagram “likes” but freak out when our crush double-taps our picture.
We want to lose weight but we order pizza after a long night of drinking margaritas.
We say we want a nice reliable guy but we only pursue douchebags.
We complain about having sh*tty friends but we talk sh*t behind our friends backs.
We complain about guys only wanting to hookup but we spend our free moments in between classes swiping through Tinder.
We go on and on about how much we hate Kim Kardashian and her representation of females but we continuously “keep up with the Kardashians.”
We say we don’t want to play mind-games but we spend 3 hours ignoring his text so he doesn’t have the upper hand.
We say we want to be productive but we spend hours binge watching Netflix.
We preach the importance of following the “girl code” but we’ve all broken it to some degree.
We say that we’re over him but we spend hours stalking all of his social media outlets.
We’re constantly trying to stand out and be different but we make sure we buy the latest trends at Forever 21.
We call other girls sluts but we go home with random guys from the bar.
We say we want someone who will bring us flowers but when he does we call him clingy.
We freak out when we think we’re being played but we flirt with boys who have girlfriends.
We rip on girls for being sloppy drunks then spend our nights puking and our mornings trying to piece together what happened.
We complain that our life is in shambles but we use “YOLO” to justify all of our stupid decisions.
We say this generation is full of narcissists but we take endless selfies.
We say we can do better and that he didn’t treat us right but then we get back together with him.
We say we admire Beyonce‘s feminism but we jump at the chance to put other girls down.
As much as we try our hardest to be moral individuals, we catch ourselves going back on our word and looking like assh*les. Millennial girls love to call people hypocrites while acting like fu*king hypocrites, we’re all guilty of it from time to time. None of us are perfect.

Watch your Orders closely. Never get carried away because you have gotten fed up with holding a particular stock. No stock will be up forever. No stock will be down forever. Do not sell off a stock when it is on Full Bid. It will likely go higher. Do not buy a stock when it is on Full Offer. It will likely drop lower. Above all, trade wisely. The Future is Bright.
