Two pupils of the Community Primary School, Isheri Olofin, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, have reportedly set the school on fire.

Police identified the minors as six-year-old Wahis Musa and nine-year-old Malik Iliasu, the duo of whom live in Isheri Olofin.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, said the kids have been arrested by the Ojodu-Abiodun Divisional Police Officer of the Ogun State Police Command.

They were apprehended for malicious damage and arson, Odutola said on Monday.

“Two pupils of Community Primary School, Isheri Olofin, one Wahis Musa, aged 6 years, and Malik Iliasu, aged 9 years, both residents of the Isheri Olofin community, have been apprehended for setting fire to their school and properties of the school on October 29, 2023,” Odutola stated.

According to her, a chief in the community had reported the incident at the police station, saying Musa and Iliasu gained access to one of the unlocked classrooms at the school; they gathered books left behind by the teachers and pupils and allegedly set them on fire.

The anti-crime team and police detectives had visited the scene “and brought the alleged children to the police station for interrogation.”

Odutola said investigations are ongoing and police are making inquiries on how to contact parents “as this is a very serious crime for these children to get themselves involved with.”

She assured that the police will unravel everything behind the incident and update the public if there are other people who may have instigated the youngsters.

Crime / Police Arrest Teenager Who Murdered Mother Of 8 In Gombe by Esther125: 5:15pm On Oct 27, 2023
Eighteen-year-old Mustapha Adamu Isa, aka Abbati, was paraded on Friday by the Gombe State Police Command for the alleged murder of Aishatu Abdullahi Adda Damori.

Damori, 58, a mother of eight children, was killed by unknown persons in her bedroom last Friday.

During the parade, Gombe State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Mahid Mu’azu Abubakar, explained that a formal complaint was received at Pantami Division from Muhammad Sani Abdullahi, the son of the deceased, who reported that his mother was murdered with a knife by an unknown person around 9:30 pm.

“The suspect was arrested last Sunday around 1:30 pm in connection with the case following credible intelligence received by the investigative team, headed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, SCID Gombe,” Abubakar said.

According to him, the suspect sneaked into the victim’s bedroom in search of his spanner, which she had earlier seized from him. The victim returned from her neighbour’s house (Abbati’s family house) and found him snooping around in her room. She ordered him to leave her room, but he refused, leading to a scuffle between them, which resulted in him strangling and killing her with a knife. He subsequently escaped through the toilet to an unknown destination, leaving behind his bloodstained shirt and knife but taking with him the spanner.

Responding to questions from newsmen, the suspects claimed he was in Damori’s room to take the spanner to fix a motorcycle brought to the mechanic’s garage in front of the house.

He also claimed it was his first time committing such a crime and did not know what came over him to kill the victim because she was his friend’s mother. He insisted that he found the knife in her room and used it to stab her several times before he left with the spanner.

Abbati further claimed that he committed the crime alone, refuting his earlier claim that implicated Idris Abubakar Danjauro, whom he accused of being responsible for his sack from the garage.

The command’s PPRO affirmed that the knife, spanner, and Abbati’s blood-stained shirt were recovered as exhibits.

Politics / Supreme Court Verdict: It’s Time To Rally Behind Tinubu – Buratai by Esther125: 10:32am On Oct 27, 2023
Tukur Buratai, a former Chief of Army Staff and Nigerian Ambassador to Benin Republic, has called on Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu to actualise his Renewed Hope agenda.

Buratai made the call in a statement on Friday in Abuja in reaction to the Supreme Court verdict that affirmed the victory of Tinubu as duly elected president during the Feb. 25 Presidential Election.

He said the apex court had, in a significant development, rendered its verdict in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu, thereby dismissing the claims put forth by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party.

According to him, the ruling clearly indicates that the court found merit in the arguments presented by the APC and President Tinubu.

“The decision holds significant implications for the political landscape, potentially shaping future policies and governance under President Tinubu’s leadership.

“I am urging all Nigerians, particularly politicians, to graciously accept the judgment of the Supreme Court and extend their support to President Tinubu.

“It is crucial for the stability and progress of the nation that we unite behind our elected leader.

“By setting aside personal and political differences, we can collectively work towards the betterment of our country,” he said.

He said the few times he had to discuss with the President about the ports in Koko and Warri as well as the roads and developments in Itsekiri land, Tinubu assured him that all will be addressed squarely.

“You know my own boss. My father and the father of the nation, the President of the federal republic of Nigeria. He just assumed office and there are a lot of issues in the office that he is tackling.

“But the few minutes I had to spend with him, I did not discuss my own personal interests. The issues I discussed had to do with the interests of Itsekiri nation and he had assured he will look into it.

“So, as it concerns Itsekiri, I don’t deviate.”

Politics / Insecurity: Govt Should Allow Nigerians To Buy AK-47 – Governor Radda by Esther125: 9:03pm On Oct 20, 2023
Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, wants the Federal Government to allow individuals to buy and own weapons such as AK-47 rifles and RPGs for self-defence.

The governor, who spoke on Friday during a media chat in Abuja, argued that if the bandits wreaking havoc across the country could have access to the market to purchase weapons, individuals should be allowed to own theirs.

According to him: “If a bandit can go to the market and buy AK-47, RPG, and all of those weapons, what about the people that want to protect themselves? They, too, should be equally allowed to do so.

“These people are holding it illegally; we are trying to hold it legally. Why can’t the government allow the people to hold this thing and equally confront the challenges?

“Negotiation with bandits is a no-go area from my perspective, but I said if I am at the point of advantage―if the bandits come out and say, ‘Look, we are dropping arms, let us sit down and talk’―we could reintegrate them back into society.”

He said further: “We governors are so-called chief security officers of our states, but we don’t have the authority to command the military, police, or civil defence. They receive orders from above.

“In our efforts, we have come up with the intelligence unit within the Katsina Community Watch Corps. This intelligence unit, even the corps members don’t know them. The reason for setting it up is to check the excesses of the Watch Corps and also to gather information.”

Politics / Buhari Govt Detained Nnamdi Kanu Due To Tribalism – Lawyer, Ejimakor To Tinubu by Esther125: 3:21pm On Oct 19, 2023
Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has suggested why former President Muhammadu Buhari arrested and detained the agitator.

Ejimakor said Kanu’s detention was based on politics of tribalism that have beclouded Nigeria.

He maintained that Kanu’s detention was not backed by law.

Posting on X, he advised President Bola Tinubu against validating such a measure.

“‘Politics that’s based on tribe and ethnicity is doomed to tear a country apart’ – Obama.

“Buhari’s detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was not based on law but on the politics of tribalism that has dogged Nigeria since time. Tinubu (@officialABAT) shouldn’t validate it. #FreeMNK,” he wrote.

Kanu was picked up during Buhari’s administration due to his agitation for the actualization of Biafra.

He was arrested in Kenya and subjected to an extraordinary rendition to Nigeria in June 2021.

Following his return to Nigeria, the Nigerian Government re-arraigned him in court.

Despite being discharged and acquitted, the Nigerian Government has refused to set Kanu free as he languishes in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.

Politics / Insecurity: We'll Shut Illegal Parks, Pull Down Uncompleted Buildings - Wike by Esther125: 2:31pm On Oct 19, 2023
Following the spate of security crises in the nation’s capital, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on Thursday threatened to shut down illegal motor parks across the territory.

The Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, made this known during a chat with journalists in his office while reacting to the activities of ‘one-chance’ robbers in the capital city.

.ng reports that there has been a series of reported cases of ‘one-chance’ robbery, kidnapping and other criminal activities in the territory.

The security situation has instilled fear in some residents as the criminal elements who disguise themselves as commercial vehicle operators to rob or kidnap unsuspecting victims continue their attacks.

Speaking on steps taken so far to address the security crisis, the minister said a joint task force on cross-border crimes was set up last week to tackle the security menace called ‘one-chance’ robbery.

“We’re getting a lot of reports about kidnappings here, about one-chance there,” Wike said.

“In most cases, we don’t even let the public know what has been done. I can tell you the security agencies have done quite a lot. If not, by now, the FCT would have been a different thing.

“One of the areas we identified is that the FCT is at the centre – we have Niger State, we have Kogi State, we have Nasarawa State, we have Kaduna State. And if you check these four states, these four states are states that experience banditry and kidnapping from time to time.

“And we discovered that most of the areas that they (criminals) stay are shanties and uncompleted buildings, and that is why we say we cannot allow these uncompleted buildings where criminals have made their place of abode.

“Bring down all these uncompleted buildings which have turned to shanties and they will have nowhere to hide.”

“Just last week, we set up a task force on those states that we have borders with and one-chance. Joint security task force including the SSS, the police, the army, the navy, and they have identified the way they will operate.

“To tell you that we are concerned. That is why we have to set up this joint task force for one-chance and border control.

“Again, you see a lot of illegal motor parks. When we come up with a policy that we can’t allow these illegal motor parks, people will come up to say the economy is hard, things are tough but nobody wants to look at it from the security implication.

“We are also planning to shut down some of these illegal motor parks.”

Politics / ‘They Want To Kill Me’ – NNPP Factional Chairman Agbo Alleges Murder Attempt by Esther125: 2:20pm On Oct 19, 2023
The crisis rocking the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, further escalated on Thursday as factional chairman, Major Agbo, raised the alarm over a plot to assassinate him.

The NNPP is currently divided into two factions – the Agbo-led group comprising the original members of the party, and the camp loyal to Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who became the presidential candidate after joining just before the 2023 general elections.

The Agbo camp, which expelled Kwankwaso after accusing him of trying to hijack the party, says it has nullified the agreement that allowed Kwankwaso’s group, known as Kwankwasiya, to join the NNPP.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, Agbo alleged that his life is in danger.

The NNPP factional leader alleged that ‘political opportunists trying to hijack the party’s leadership’ sent assassins to eliminate him in his office on Monday.

Agbo narrated that two armed men stormed his office at Wuse Zone 4 in an attempt to assassinate him.

He disclosed that he escaped death because the alleged assasins were unable to identify him when they invaded the secretariat of the party faction.

Agbo said: “The reason for this briefing is to bring you to speed with an attempt made to assassinate me here in this office on Monday, 16th August 2023.

“I walked in here at about 2.45 pm and shortly after that two men walked in, ignoring the protocol advice from the desk boys in the front office.

“They walked in with weapons demanding to meet me; unknown to them, they were talking to me. It was evident that they never knew me physically, in fact my saving grace was that I was not sitting on my chair.

“Pointing a short gun on me, they demanded that I produce “Major Agbo” who one of them claimed was his coursemate at Command and Staff College, Jaji.

“I asked him if he would identify his coursemate he was talking about if seen, he replied “yes”. I then told them Major Agbo was not around. They speedily withdrew, ran into their ash-colored Toyota Corolla car parked by the express roadside (to aid escape) and sped away.

“We are all aware of the recent developments in the party as a result of attempts to hijack it by some ill-advised elements and political opportunists.”

Agbo added that, in addition to the alleged assassination attempt, he has been receiving death threats.

“Let me also confirm to you that I have received several threats through WhatsApp voice calls telling me I would pay with my life for standing on the way in their quest to take the party from its founder and its mother organisation – NAGAFF (National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders).

“They made real their threat on Monday but failed woefully as they could not identify me. The matter has been reported to the appropriate quarters for action.

“It is my sincere hope that you would lend your voices to this brazen attempt to take my life over what does not belong to them.

“It is my hope that you would let the whole world know that my life is presently in danger by usurpers who were not part of our party in its twenty-two years of existence but only joined us last year.”

The Conservator-General, National Park Service, Dr Ibrahim Goni, says the Federal Government will take over 10 new parks between November and December 2023.

Goni disclosed this while receiving the nine commissioners from the 10 new national parks on Wednesday in Abuja.

He said the parks could be handed over to the Federal Government between November and December so that by 2024, they would be included in the national budget.

“At the moment, the approved national parks are being gazetted by the Federal Ministry of Justice.

“With the gazetting, it means they have now become full-fledged national parks; we are waiting for the parks to be handed over by the respective state governors to the Federal Government as national parks,” he said.

The conservator-general said the reason for the meeting was to update the stakeholders on the progress made so far on the handing and taking over of the 10 new national parks by the Federal Government.

“We have held two stakeholder meetings before this time where we discussed the presidential proclamation and the concurrence of the National Assembly.

“Most of the states have told us that they have acquired office accommodations, administrative offices and accommodations for the officers of the parks for the smooth take-off of the ten new parks in their respective states.

“And they have also assured us of the corporation of the communities where these parks are domiciled,’’ he said.

Goni said people of the communities had expressed their willingness to support the smooth take-off of the parks.

He expressed optimism that the gesture would develop their areas and provide employment opportunities.

Goni listed other benefits to the host communities to include security, mitigation of climate change, and regeneration to truncate rural migration.

“They are so obsessed with the part I said Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave me 500 pounds in London during our exile years, as if that means I must become a perpetual slave because of that well appreciated support.

They called on the National Assembly to make electronic transmission of results mandatory.

The body also said the upload of results from polling units and results sheets used at different levels of results collation should be transmitted electronically.

Yiaga Africa also said the law should be amended to include pictures of candidates participating in every election.

Speaking at a press conference to unveil its report on the Election Study and Observation Mission (ESOM) to the Liberia 2023 General Elections, tagged: “Liberia 2023 Elections and Lessons for Nigeria,” the executive director of Yiaga Africa, Samson Itodo, said political stakeholders should demonstrate a firm commitment to democracy and nation-building by upholding national values such as patriotism, integrity and public interest in electoral politics.

“INEC should review the format of ballot papers used in Nigeria elections to include photographs and names of candidates to improve the quality of electoral preferences and reduce invalidated votes.

“INEC and state electoral commissions should commit to greater transparency in election administration through proactive disclosure of election information and consistent application of election rules and guidelines.

“The National Assembly and INEC should amend the electoral legal framework (Electoral Act and INEC Guidelines) to introduce early voting to allow eligible voters on essential election duties, such as security personnel, INEC staff, election observers, journalists, etc., to vote at elections.

Crime / Court Frees Armed Robbery Suspect Over Absence Of Prosecution Witness by Esther125: 4:59pm On Oct 16, 2023
Reprieve came the way of one Ojo Gbenga, a suspect standing trial for alleged armed robbery and conspiracy, as an Ikeja High Court on Monday struck out his case due to absence of the prosecution witness.

According to Justice Oyindamola Ogala, the “defendant’s presumption of innocence is still valid’’.

“The defendant should be released in the absence of any matter in any other court.

“The prosecution is at liberty to re-arrest when the victim (who is the prosecution witness) is ready to reopen the case,” Ogala said.

The state prosecutor, O.A Azeez, told the court that the prosecution witness, who is the victim in the matter, relocated outside of Lagos State after the incident, hence his absence.

Azeez said that he also tried to contact the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) in charge of the case but the effort was not fruitful.

The defence counsel, Bidemi Ademola, told the court that the matter should be struck out since the prosecution witness had relocated with no intention of coming back to Lagos.

He said that the defendant has been in custody since 2022 and should not be kept there indefinitely.

Politics / Subsidy Removal: Our Pains Are Temporary – FG To Nigerians by Esther125: 8:18am On Oct 16, 2023
The Federal Government has reassured that the pains being experienced by Nigerians over the recent removal of fuel subsidy will be temporary.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris gave the assurance in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja.

He explained that it was obvious that the ultimate benefits of the removal of the subsidy would be reaped by the common man.

Idris said it was regrettable that only few people were, hitherto, benefitting from the subsidy regime, adding that the few were enjoying the common wealth of the entire country at the expense of the majority.

“So, President Bola Tinubu said he would not be part of that. He stands with the majority of Nigerians.

“Although the removal will be painful at the beginning, it will be better for all of us at the end,” he said.

The minister explained: “Fuel subsidy removal is like the pregnant woman due for delivery and in labour; when she is in labour pains, she will feel and prefer she never had the opportunity to bear a child.

“However, after the child is delivered, then the woman will hold her baby, smile and becomes the happiest woman in the world.

“I think, that analogy can be applied to this issue of fuel subsidy removal.

“So, the pains will be temporary, but at the end, we will be better for it; that is what President Bola Tinubu believes in, and that is what he is preaching”.

The Minister recalled that within the first few months of Tinubu’s administration he allocated funds to the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory for palliatives to cushion the effect subsidy removal.

“This is because Tinubu believes that the state governors are people who know their terrains very well.

“He also made available assorted grains and fertilizers to help cushion the immediate concerns of Nigerians about the removal of fuel subsidy.

“I can assure you that in the long run, Nigeria will be better for it,” Idris said. (NAN)

Crime / Why I Poured Hot Oil On My Husband – Rivers Woman Confesses by Esther125: 8:22am On Oct 14, 2023
Rivers State Police Command has arrested and paraded one Favour Nweke, who bathed her husband, Ekelediri Nwokekoro, with hot groundnut oil over a squabble.

.ng earlier reported how the housewife committed the crime on Tuesday in Okehi, Etche Local Government Area of the State.

While being paraded at the command’s headquarters along Moscow Road, Port Harcourt on Friday, the suspect confessed to have committed the heinous crime.

She told journalists that her husband recently started behaving strangely, which according to her, was linked to a crime he committed with his friends.

The housewife explained that the squabble began when she confronted her husband over his behaviour and alleged involvement in a crime.

She said, “He will go out at about 2 o’clock in the night and will come back early in the morning. Sometimes he would go, and stay two or three days before coming back, then I asked him where are you even going?

“So his friend called me and asked if I had heard what was on the ground, I said ‘What is that?’ He said my husband and some people were involved in one illegal act. He said they called somebody from Abuja that the person should come and work in Etche, and that they have a contract to give to the person and when the person came they duped the person of N20 million.

“I said he didn’t tell me; that I was hearing this for the first time. I said ‘no wonder this guy has been acting strange, planning on how to travel and go to one African country.’ So this is the reason.

“So when he came back, I grabbed him and said this is what I heard and I confronted him but he refused and we quarrelled. We ended it that day. I then asked him what he did with his own share of the money. I heard some people bought land with their own, so what did you use your own to do?

“As we were dragging that issue that morning, he hit me, I ran into the kitchen with that oil and I poured it on him. That was how it happened.”

She, however, denied the allegations that she was involved in extramarital affairs prior to the incident.

She pleaded for forgiveness, saying she did not know her actions would result in this.

“I feel bad. Had I known that this thing would turn out like this I would not have done it to him. I will just go to my place and stay. I am begging for Nigerians, you people should forgive me”, she added.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi assured citizens that the suspect would be prosecuted and made to face the consequences of her action.

“I can assure you that the law will catch up with her and anybody who tries to take the laws into their hands, will be made to face the necessary sanctions,” Nwonyi said.

Politics / Imo Guber: PDP Denies Removing Anyanwu As National Secretary by Esther125: 5:49am On Oct 14, 2023
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied the report that it relieved its candidate for the Imo State gubernatorial election, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, of his position as National Secretary of the party.

Reports earlier emerged that Anyanwu, popularly known as “Sam Daddy“ was removed as the party’s national secretary to enable him to focus on his governorship race.

In a statement issued on Friday night by its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the party said Anyanwu’s office remains intact.

According to the statement, the NWC described the report as false, stressing that it “did not at any time relieve or contemplate to relieve Anyanwu of his position”.

The statement reads partly, “The NWC states and cautions that no matter how strongly an individual or group feels about an issue, resorting to fabrications, lies and claiming a non-existent decision by the NWC is highly condemnable.

“The PDP urges Nigerians, particularly our teeming members and supporters in Imo State, to disregard the said false claims as Senator Anyanwu remains the National Secretary and Candidate of our Party in the November 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo State.

“The NWC charges the PDP in Imo State to remain united, focused, alert, and continue to resist the antics of suppressive forces which are bent on distracting our party in the march to victory on November 11, 2023”.

Politics / Delta: Supreme Court Dismisses Gbagi’s Appeal Against Oborevwori by Esther125: 9:36am On Oct 13, 2023
The Supreme Court, on Thursday, dismissed an appeal brought before it by Chief Kenneth Gbagi against Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for being a waste of time, mere academic exercise, and lacking any utilitarian value.

In the appeal, Gbagi, a governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) filed the appeal against the decisions of the Election Petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal refusing to admit fresh evidence not pleaded or frontloaded during trial.

Gbagi, who claimed to have discovered new evidence to prove his petition, had made an application for the reopening of his case on the date fixed for adoption of final written addresses by the Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Asaba.

The Tribunal dismissed the aforesaid application for being incompetent, belated, and strange as the document he was trying to introduce was not pleaded in his petition.

The Tribunal proceeded to conclude the hearing of the Petition and found that Gbagi’s claim of being the winner of the election was totally unfounded.

The Tribunal also dismissed Gbagi’s claim that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was not qualified to contest the election.

Not satisfied with the Tribunal’s ruling, Gbagi filed an appeal against the Tribunal’s refusal of his application to reopen his case.

The Court of Appeal, in dismissing the appeal, held that the Tribunal rightly refused to reopen his case.

Still not satisfied, Gbagi proceeded to the Supreme Court against the judgment of the Court of Appeal.

PDP’s Counsel, Ekeme Ohwovoriole, SAN, and Ayo Asala, SAN, for Governor Oborevwori, had argued that the Appeal lacked merit because the tribunal had been dissolved.

In a unanimous judgment of the apex court delivered by Justice John Inyang Okoro, the apex court held that the appeal was a complete waste of time, had become spent, academic and lacking usefulness

The Apex Court held that 180 days for hearing the Petition had expired, and there is no Tribunal existing to even hear the appeal since the Tribunal had since been dissolved.

Politics / Tinubu Directs Immediate Action Plan To Halt Flooding In Nigeria by Esther125: 6:25am On Oct 11, 2023
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed an immediate Action Plan to halt the impending flood crisis nationwide.

Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on the Media & Communications, Office of the Vice President, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, Tinubu, represented by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, made the charge during an emergency meeting at Aso Villa in Abuja.

The President set up a committee to be headed by Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, with a 7-day timeline to deliver a report.

“Based on the submissions by the DG of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency, the situation is not that terrible, but to be forewarned is to be forearmed. The submissions by the other relevant stakeholders are equally poignant, and we can’t afford to take chances.

“Though the situation is not as bad as we might think, we need to set up a committee so that the report of the Presidential Committee and the 2022 Federal Executive Council – approved broad preparedness plan should be harmonised and implemented immediately,” the Vice President stated.

Shettima noted that a feasible roadmap would address the flood crisis in Nigeria, adding that responsibilities would be shouldered by the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the Federal Government.

He stated: “I deliberately invited the NEDC and NDDC so that whatever resources that NEMA has, they have to be released to the states so that they can start making preparations for any eventuality.

“Based on the Presidential directive, I will meet with the NEDC and NDDC chief executives for states under their coverage. There should be interventions from them.

“For NEDC, they can take care of Taraba, Bauchi and Adamawa. For NDDC, they can take care of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta and Cross River. For states like Ebonyi, Kogi and Benue, we will mobilise from our savings and deploy the same to assist them. We have to share responsibilities and hence the immediate need for implementing the roadmap.”

The development comes days after the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) issued a flood alert to Nigerians in nine states- Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Delta, Edo, Kogi, Nasarawa, and Taraba.
