Nigerian crossdresser, Okuneye Idris aka Bobrisky has revealed fresh facts about himself during an Instagram live video this weekend.

Bobrisky during the live video decided to open up and answer questions which fans have always presented to him since he became famous.

According to the crossdresser, he started nursing the desire to be a girl, since his childhood and seeing his mom do girly things, cook and take care of the house made his interest in becoming a woman, deeper and stronger as time passed.

Subsequently, he couldn’t take it anymore and he opened up to his mom, who in turn advised him to be himself and not anyone else.

The body of a Kenyan Police Officer, Hesbon Okemwa Anunda, who went missing a week ago has been found at a thicket in the coastal island of Lamu, with his head and hand chopped off.

While investigations have been launched to establish the cause of his death, police constable, Hesbon Anunda, went missing on October 2nd from Kizingitini Police Station. His G3 rifle, which had 60 bullets was, however, found missing when the body was found.

Government officials said more than 40 police officers have died this year while combating terrorism and urban crime. Hilary Mutyambai, Inspector General of Police, said the government has put in place elaborate measures to curb deaths of security personnel while in the line of duty.

“We have prioritised safety measures for our police officers while on duty amid threats like terrorism, violent crime and banditry,’’ said Mutyambai.

He said that Somalia based Al-Shabaab militants continue to pose grave security threats in the northeastern and the coastal region.

I didn’t want to miss the opportunity - Man who defiled 13-year-old girl in a school

A 25-year-old man who raped a 13-year-old girl inside a school in Kontagora local government area of Niger state, has been arrested by the Niger state police command.

The suspect identified as Abdullahi Umar reportedly sent the girl to buy him satchet water before dragging her to an Islamic primary school located at Angwan Yamma where he raped her.

Confessing to the crime, Umar said he has always been infatuated with his victim that always ran errands for him and felt she would become his lover after the act.

“I was completely infatuated with her and I do not have any other option than to have sex with her.

“I had sex with her forcefully because that was the only opportunity I had and would not want to miss it at that point in time.

“That was why I dragged her to one Islamic primary school very close to my house to have my way,” he admitted.

The suspect who was arrested by a team of Policemen attached to B Division Kontagora following a tip-off, will be arraigned in court after investigation has been concluded.

A pastor has been arrested and paraded for torturing a 10-year-old boy with an electrical iron.

Pastor Emmanuel, 34, who works with the Eagles Prophetic Gospel Centre in Gombe State, was paraded alongside 15 other criminal suspects.

The pastor is accused of child cruelty for inflicting physical injuries on 10-year-old Daniel James. The pastor accused his victim of theft, hence the cruel punishment meted out on him.

The pastor told Daily Sun that 10-year-old James was the son of an ex-prostitute who had become a born again Christian thanks to evangelism carried out by his church.

Pastor Emmanuel said: "The 10-year-old boy committed a crime of stealing, which has been his habitual character. So, on that day, I took another dimension of punishment; I used electric iron to threaten him and it burnt him."

He added that he took the kid to come and live with him after the church helped his mother find a place to live and a business to sustain herself and her elder son who is 19-year-old.

"They lived close to an Almajiri School and the boy always had a problem with the Almajiris. So, I took him to live with me. I made a mistake of not reporting him to the police. I always report his character to the mother before I decide to punish him on my own. In the church, everybody knew me to be a very disciplined man."

Police spokesperson Obed Mary Malum confirmed that the suspect has confessed to using a hot electric iron to burn the 10-year-old boy in different parts of his body. The police says the preacher will soon be prosecuted in court.

The Nigerian Senate says President Buhari will on Tuesday, October 7th, present the 2020 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly.

Senator Adeyeye Adedayo who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, disclosed this in Abuja while answering questions from Senate Correspondents in Abuja today Thursday, October 4th.

A man running a 50km race in Kansas, died after he was struck by lightning shortly before he finished the run.

A Facebook post from the organizers of the race said, Thomas Stanley, 33, died while running in the FlatRock 50K trail race at Elk City Lake Park.

The post said he was struck by lightning just as he was approaching the finish line of the 50K (31.06 miles) race. The organization quoted a statement from the family that said: "the chances of being killed by a lightning strike are about one in a million, and Thomas was truly a one-in-a-million guy."

She said racers stopped and attempted CPR while bystanders drove their cars to the road that led to the finish line to make sure runners had shelter from the storm. Stanley's wife, Ashley Stanley, posted on Facebook that Thomas was "the most amazing man" and her "best friend. My heart hurts and I feel sick to my stomach," she said.

The organization displayed the father of three's run in their public photo album at the request of the family and considered him a finisher of the race even though he didn't cross the finish line.

They presented his finisher's award to his wife, according to race director Carolyn Robinson. "He was unable to cross the finish line, unfortunately, but he is one of our finishers," Robinson said.

Three armed robbery suspects on Sunday, met their waterloo as an angry mob pounced on them in Gbaste community of Ushongo Local Government Area of Benue State.

Gbatse is the community where at least 16 mass graves of persons allegedly murdered by a gang of serial killers were uncovered a few days ago.

It was gathered that the suspects whose names were given as Terkaa Jabi, alias Gajere, Terkimbir Iorbunde Ahungwaor, and Paul Mbailuior Damsa, laid siege on the major road passing through the community in the early hours of Sunday.

Witnesses said the trio attacked occupants of a vehicle coming into the state from Cross River State at an illegal check point they mounted near the residence of the District Head of Mbayegh, Chief Nathaniel Hoyo.

It was further learnt that the traditional leader mobilised youths of the community and alerted the police as they chased the suspects who ran into the hills in the surrounding area and hid in one of the caves, but luck ran out on them, when the youths apprehended the three culprits. It was gathered that police efforts could not stop the angry mob who hurled stones at the suspects.

Witnesses said the suspects were killed in the process as the youths dragged them along the road before the police eventually took custody of their corpses and displayed same at the Ushongo police station.

Spokeperson of the Command, Catherine Anene, who confirmed the incident said that the robbers are part of the robbery syndicate (serial killers) that are in custody.

Anene added that the police were actually exchanging fire with the robbers when they took to their heels and hid in a cave. During the search for the robbers, the mob located them before the police and lynched them but that the armed robbers had earlier shot one of the travellers who is now receiving treatment.

“The robbers are part of the robbery syndicate (serial killers) that are in custody. The three corpses have been deposited at the Teaching Hospital in Makurdi,” she added.

Police uncover baby factory in Lagos, rescue 19 pregnant girls, arrest two suspects (photos)

The Lagos State Police Command has uncovered a baby factory from a detention camp in the Ikotun area of the state.

19 pregnant girls, underaged children and a day-old-baby were recovered.

A statement from the state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, says the discovery was made following a tipoff from concerned members of the public.

According to Bala, on September 19th at about 4pm, detectives from Ishiri Osun Police Station led by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Chike Ibe, while acting on credible informtation received, stormed a building at no 14 adisa street Ayanwale area ikotun Lagos, suspected to be used for child trafficking.

19 pregnant girls ages between15 and 28 were rescued. Four kids were also rescued. They were recovered from four different locations. They include: No 32 Owosho Street, Governor Road, Ikotun ; No 29 Olugbeyohun Street, Olakunle Bus Stop Abaranja; No 4/6 Anomo Street, Abaranja and Ikotun.

Bala in the statement said the pregnant women were brought from Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Abia and Imo States with the promises of helping them get a job and then afterwards converted into sex workers.

Two women namely Happiness Ukwuoma ‘f’ 40 years old and Sherifat Ipeya ‘f’ 54 years old (pictured above) who acted as nurses but had no formal education, were arrested in connection with the case. They informed the police that the baby factory is owned by one Madam Oluchi from Imo state who is currently on the run.

Bala says preliminary investigation shows that the young women were mostly abducted by the suspects for the purpose of getting them pregnant and selling their babies to potential buyers. The girls were tricked with employment as domestic staff in Lagos. The Babies are sold between #300,000 and #500,000 depending on the sex. Boys are sold for N500,000 and girls for #300,000.

He added that the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Zubairu Muazu, visited the scene and ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department to take over the case. The Command is working with other Agencies and stakeholders in rehabilitating and resettling the pregnant girls and the Babies.

Investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be charged to Court.
