He is the same guy, he has always been following Sowore to the court before the bail.
He is not. The person that held Sowore is on of his people. See him in the first picture below hailing him along with others before the start of court proceedings that day.

The guy you people are accusing (seating beside Sowore in the last picture) was not even wearing a white shirt and black suit, he wore a green shirt and a greenish grey suit.

PoliticsRe: Coming Generation Scares Me...real Hard! by Eteka1(m): 9:29am On Dec 09, 2019
Gazzy88:
While we have been busy talking about Nigeria of today, I wonder if we have spared a thought about how this country will be in the next TWENTY-FIVE years.

On October 1, 1979, when Alhaji Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari was sworn-in as president, Goodluck Jonathan was just a 22 year-old undergrad of University of Port-Harcourt. Shagari was 54 years old. Ayo Fayose was 19 years old. Bukola Saraki was 17. Yemi Osinbajo was 22. The generation of the likes of Shagari, Richard Akinjide, Adisa Akinloye, Sabo Barkin Zuwo, Sam Mbakwe, Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo, Ume Ezeoke, Christian Onoh, Akin Omoboriowo, Olusola Saraki, Sunday Awoniyi, Garba Nadama, Awal Ibrahim and so on has gone for good!

Some of us in our 40s, 50s and 60s now, were in school then, either in the university or secondary school. We had lofty dreams, both personal and societal. We were always motivated by nationalists and inventors who had impacted positively on the cause of humanity. We were voracious readers of novels and other books. Nelkon for our Ordinary Level Physics, Lambert for Chemistry, B.O ADELEKE and Goh Cheng Leong for our Geography, Phebean Ogundipe for Practical English, William Shakespeare Chinua Achebe, Cyprian Ekwensi, OLa Rotimi and Wole Soyinka for Literature and others like that.

We were always flaunting our knowledge of current affairs. Inter-school quiz, Literary and Debating competition were the in-thing. Nowadays, students can hardly string a sentence together in English without errors.

Fast forward 35 years on and you are shocked and disturbed. Have you ever spoken to or engaged a 20 year-old boy? Ask him what motivates him and he is likely to mention music, hip hop to be precise. He has hundreds of downloaded songs on his phone. He can sing all of them off hand. He knows all the singles of Nice, Neato C, Timaya, Davido, Whiz Kid off hand. The babes among them take pride in enticing men old enough to be their father on social media with buxomly physique. But he/she does not know anything about history of nationalism in the country. Ideas about good society, responsible family and good conduct do not motivate him. He just wants to make money because his friend who does yahoo is rich and rides a good car, her friend who has numerous ‘aristos’ drives an SUV!

The things that interest him/her are things that do not add value. He /she has google but never uses it for advancement of knowledge but to download porn and other inanities. Yet, in TWENTY years time, they are the ones that will be contesting to become governors, senators, Reps members and even president.

They belong to a generation that does not care about morality. They belong to a generation that is motivated only by money and its acquisition. By 2035 to 2040, they will be our senators, Reps, governors and so on.

I wonder if we have ever spared a thought for how this country will look like under them. I told a man recently and these are my words: IF A GUY WHO IS IN LAGOS COULD USE FALSE PRETENCE TO
OBTAIN $20,000 FROM SOMEONE IN UNITED STATES, WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN IF SUCH A GUY BECOMES A STATE GOVERNOR AND IS IN CHARGE OF AN ALLOCATION HE DOES NOT EVEN HAVE TO OBTAIN UNDER FALSE PRETENCE? WHICH HIS STATE IS STATUTORILY ENTITLED TO. How did we get into this mess? How can we get out of this predicament? I am worried, deeply worried. Are you?

Note: I don't know the Author of this write up, it was forwarded to me and it's worth reading and sharing.

Pls, let us continue to share,it might change one or two people.
I do sometimes think about all you have said and more. Its truly a scary prospect.

I tend to believe what the DSS is saying is true.
From the first time I watched the video, I was confused cos I saw no DSS person there. All I saw were ordinary looking people (probably supporters of the accused).
Normally DSS have guns and wear vests bearing the name of the institution.

How you guys do it amaze me.

Let's assume that Sowore committed treason (I am sure in the part of your mind that is still sane, you don't believe that), the court has ordered his release.

Are you saying that Buhari and DSS are above the law?

Considering that APC and even same Sowore said worse about PDP, isn't it rich charging him for treason?
The DSS is interested in keeping Sowore off the streets cos they consider him a person who is interested in destabilizing constitutional order, so they finally obeyed the court order to release him and then rearrested him on fresh charges, different from the one for which he has been granted bail.

There is nothing legally wrong in rearresting a person on fresh charges. He will be charged to another court on the fresh charges.

You must think we are all suffering from amnesia like you and your ilk. You and the fools that liked your comment should read this article on TheCable website:

In 2011, General Buhari called for a revolution

In 2011, General Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), called for a revolution in Nigeria — albeit through the ballot.

Via a statement by Yinka Odumakin, his spokesman at the time who has now turned to one of his fiercest critics, Buhari asked Nigerians to make exceptional sacrifices to assert their collective will in the country.

“The Egyptian pro-democracy campaigners defied all odds to achieve their set goal of terminating the 30-year old grip on power by Mubarak. Their tenacity has again confirmed the truism that no force on earth can stop a people determined,” he said.

This was not the first time the president called for mass action — he did the same in 2003, after losing the presidential election to incumbent Olusegun Obasanjo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In June 2003, supporters of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and Buhari, began a mass protest against the outcome of the April 19, 2003 presidential election in Abuja.

The protesters were reported to have massed at the Court of Appeal, venue of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to witness the proceeding.

They would later spill over to the streets where they chanted anti-government slogans against the Olusegun Obasanjo government.

A REPEAT IN 2011?

In the same statement calling for a revolution in 2011, Buhari commended the Egyptian military for refusing to attack “the forces of change”.

“The military in Egypt showed exemplary conduct with the way they refused to be used to attack the forces of change,” Buhari was quoted to have said.

“They showed the whole world that there is a clear difference between the state and those who temporarily occupy political offices for a fixed tenure. This is a lesson for our security agents who have been used to subvert the will of the people at elections in recent past.

“The time has come for our own security forces to demonstrate similar valour by putting national interest above that of individuals when there is a clash between the two.

“Unlike the Egyptians who went through self-denial for 18 unbroken days to achieve their aspiration for leadership change, Nigerians just have to take their voter cards, vote on each election day and ensure that their votes count and are properly counted.

“It is time to demonstrate people’s power to free our country from those who have held it hostage for the last 12 years and are threatening to keep it so for 60 years.”

BUHARI COMMENDS EGYPT’S REVOLUTIONARIES

The CPC flagbearer commended the revolutionaries in Egypt, asking Nigerians to emulate them and support themselves regardless of religious divides.

“More importantly Nigerians have to learn from the way faiths integrated to achieve national aspiration. Christians formed rings round Muslims as they observed their Jumat prayers during the demonstrations,” Buhari said.

“For us as a people, we need to also move from balance of hate to balance of faith as the Egyptians practically demonstrated on the field of battle for change.

“Rather than allow ourselves to be divided by our faiths, we must emphasise what binds us together and areas where the shoe pinches us collectively as people with common humanity. With all sense of modesty, this is part of what the Buhari-Bakare candidacy represents.”
https://www.thecable.ng/flashback-in-2011-general-buhari-called-for-a-revolution
Protest against outcome election is not the same thing as calling for a revolution and bragging on video that by the time you are done bringing down the government, DSS (which is a constituted authority) and others will cease to exist.

In commending the Egyptian military for not attacking the "revolutionaries" in Egypt, Buhari was expressing his personal opinion as a private citizen then about something happening in Egypt and so didn't commit treason against Nigeria.
