No missile defense system are currently deployed in those bases, only radars which did quite a nice job warning the base before time ( those missiles are relatively slow). Deploying a defense system can be seen as a preparation for war and arouse tensions unless of course the Iraqi government makes purchase which is not quite as easy as having enough money to spend.
Pffff! Iran only successfully displayed how far they have to go to start making high precision missiles. Even Israeli defense would dust those missiles like they are no threat on a busy day. I can only imagine their midrange ballistic missiles will even be poorer in general specifications.

You guys just like talking nonsense. Go and do some research and you will find out that the Houthis in Yemen used the same Fateh ballistic missiles in attacks on Saudi Arabian oil installations some months ago.

19 missiles were fired and all but two hit their targets with precision causing serious damage that lead to the cutting by half of Saudi Oil production capacity.

The Saudis have the very expensive US made Patriot Air Defence System in place and it failed to intercept the missiles.

Moreover, the US does have Patriot Air Defence Systems in place to protect their troops and assets in the region.

If you research further you will also find out that the Iranians had an option of deploying their advanced cruise missiles in the attack on the US airbases. Cruise missiles cannot be detected by ground based radars and cannot be intercepted by air defence systems. This is due to their low flying trajectory and high speed.

The response by Iran was deliberately calculated to be proportional my friend. If Iran wanted to actually kill Americans with this first move, they knew how and where to do it e.g launching cruise missiles at US consulates/embassies that abound in the region and not military bases where the uniformed people can take shelter in bunkers. It all depends on the next move of the US.

This was intended to send a clear message to the US.

I believe the real revenge will come in the form of actions carried out by proxy militias loyal to Iran in the region against US interests in weeks, months or even years to come e.g ambushes on US military convoys etc.

The Americans cannot afford to continue to escalate military tensions with Iran cos they know that the Iranians are capable of actually fighting them and also inflicting serious damage on US allies in the region.

You seem to have this erroneous belief that whoever is living in Nigeria is poor and looking for a way to leave the country.

I and all my siblings had our nursery/primary, secondary education in Nigeria then our parents made us have our tertiary education in Europe and Canada.

My siblings all live and work abroad but I came back to Nigeria voluntarily to contribute to building my country and I am proud of my decision. And yes I do travel abroad whenever I have to.
