Hi guys, Last week, wes sent my institution a verification email, and i did the needful by calling my school to sort it. On Monday, I was told that it has been sorted. Yesterday, my wes status changed from "we are waiting for your institution to verify your documents ", to "status on hold, we are processing a new package and document for your application. You are not suppose to do anything ". Should I be scared? Looks like they are starting my application all over again. |
I'm yoruba |
Looool. I had to check the moniker to confirm if this post wasn't written by "VeryWickedMan" ![]() |
lovediehatelive:Don't open, it's likely a plugin. It was sent to me once and I downloaded it. Long story short, my phone was monitored somehow. Text messages, emails, calls, etc. I had to restore my phone to factory settings afterwards. |
Adekunle Ajasin University or Ambrose Ali University?? |
Your mum's advice on leaving your home to hers to settle your issues is the genesis of this. No matter the issue I have with my husband, we don't involve our parents because each party tends to support their child. When your husband asked you to leave, you shouldn't have even welcomed the idea, and I'm sure you contacted your mum to interfere, hence, her advise for you to come over. Even if yoy had wanted to go to your mum's place, you shouldn't have gone with your kids and other belonginfs. For your husband, he doesn't regard your mum. Besides, fear hausa ladies, kayanmata is at work. |

ednut1:Oh, wow! I'm not aware of the new limit. My transactions were just around 400 late last year and early this year |
Lexusgs430:No. Just around $400 once last year, and once early this year. I'm not aware of the new limit |
Maybe you should use your bank card. I used my access bank visa card to make intl payments for certain certifications twice, and was charged the normal exchange rate for my transactions. I think it's around #402 or 420/$ |
Unzerious:If he eventually has a son, he'd be "VeryWickedSon". I hope his gf won't be "VeryWickedBabyMama" |

1. I like the smell of sand mixed with little water. 2. My favourite part of chicken - either fresh or frozen - is the wings and feets. 3. I can easily read someone's mind. 4. Any type of white noise (fan blowing, freezer, or AC) calms me down. 5. I wonder how people react badly to other people based on how they feel. I hate to transfer aggressions. 6. How do people eat moimoi and rice? Nahhh 7. I like killing mosquitoes. It gives me joy. 8. I don't watch movies. I can be locked up in the house for months and not put on the TV. 9. I can calculate and notice the inaccuracy of a given space or object (NO matter how unnoticeable it is) by merely looking at it. The last (I'm not a bad mum) 10. I like to wait for my kids to go to bed sometimes before eating certain goodies that I don't want to share with them. I won't bring it out until they are asleep. |
I've had such experiences too. I'd love to know their motives. @lalasticlala, mynd44, Fp please. |
Crazy things are happening |
They have really pushed Nigerian students beyond their limits |
Taking them back to their communities to enable them vote since they wouldn't be able to vote in areas they are not registered in come 2023. If they don't vote right again, they will return to the same idp camp because of the same insecurity. Afterwards, na agbado and cassava galore inside the camp be that oh. Party after party . |

Some people enter politics with the purpose to show off and garner constant media attention. These individuals hold the majority of public offices in Nigeria, and despite their poor performances, they frequently make the news. Some people prefer to keep their plans to themselves, are reserved, and are dedicated to doing their jobs. This set of people include Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Minister of Works and Housing. He stood out in silence during a period when everyone aspired to be President. Has anyone else noticed that Fashola hasn't been active politically in a while? Starting with the APC primaries, rallies, and the governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states respectively. Fashola has been jejely drinking his zobo despite the fact that everyone in Nigeria with political significance has been working hard to get recognition and remain relevant in the upcoming election(s).

Messi1:Impressive! Clap for yourself. |
Messi1:I admit. Do you think you are being biased with your point or not? |
Messi1:Did you go through my first 2 comments where I tried to explain extensively? Obviously not. |

justwise:Helloooo Uncle/auntyLike I mentioned earlier, inquire further and pls quote me your findings. Best. |
justwise:Now let me explain if you don't understand. “All asylum and human rights claims are carefully considered in accordance with our international obligations. Each individual assessment is made against the background of relevant caselaw and the latest country information. The New Plan for Immigration will fix the broken immigration system and expedite the removal of those with no right to be here.” The quote right here is the last paragraph in that topic. The emboldened is the main message I passed across with an emphasis on the word "latest and new immigration plan". No matter how you find your way to the UK, there will always be a new policy enacted by the govt that "might" mar your chances of living there (the quoted word is heavily stated). Now, this new policy can come in different ways, and not necessarily deportation. Just look at the way the new/latest immigration plan played out with these grandmas and the gay uncle that sought asylum. If you still do not understand, read along. I'll help you stay true to your moniker. There was a similar story posted on nairaland as regards a woman whose spouse with whom she accessed the UK through died, and the govt suddenly passed a law that necessitated her and others who lost their spouse (that brought them into the country) to pay a certain fee or risk deportation. |
justwise:No vex Cheers. |
That's what I've been telling people about the current "UK rush". The UK economy is heavily tax reliant hence the open arms to foreign students, especially with the introduction of the 2 year postgraduate study visa. I wouldn't be surprised if in the coming years, a policy that wouldn't be favourable to those that japaed through the study route will be enacted. But what do I know? Everyone is trying to escape from the hell that Buhari has made Nigeria become. Anything for sanity, security, and good income Abeg. |
