Finding a TRUE LOVER is becoming something else these days! Ada Nba Agbazue, the 17 year old girl who fell from an abandoned 18 storey building in Abule-Ajanloco in Lagos, while trying to escape from a facebook lover turned rapist, says that her assailants intended to kill her for ritual purpose after forcefully having carnal knowledge of her. This is really sad. Ada is currently lying at the Ilemba Ajangbadi hospital in Lagos where she is being treated for multiple fractures and other injuries. She attributes her being alive to a miracle, stating that she finds it hard to explain her survival. What happened that a man she loved through facebook wanted to kill her? Details below: When they met at a public place and she could remember is that, “he touched me and immediately, I lost my senses. I started following him.” Ada was lured to the abandoned storey building on December 26th by a man she purportedly met on facebook as exclusively reported by The Mirror, last weekend. The injured young lady said she is alive to tell her story from the sick bed to teach others to be careful of who they make friends with on social media. “My being alive is a miracle and I am grateful to God. With what I saw in that room, that man can be a cultist, he can be a ritual killer. “He told me that he is a Buccaneer,” she narrated, tearfully. According to her, a facebook friend she identified as Michael lured her through Facebook to the abandoned building. Agbazue, on that fateful day, got dressed for a date with Michael. Narrating her ordeal, the young girl stated that she got a call on her mobile phone: “My phone rang and a man said he wanted to speak with me. I don’t know how he got my number but he told me that it was from my Facebook page but he is not my friend on face book. He told me his name is Michael but he is not any of the Michaels that I know. “I did not see any harm because he said we should meet at the Ile-Nla Bus Stop which is a busy place. When I got to the bus stop, I noticed he was looking at my picture on his phone. He looked up to see my face. He was standing opposite the road,” she narrated. Agbazue said she became alarmed at first because the man did not look like the Michael she knew on the face book. At that point, she hastily pointed out that she does not know him. As if trying to reassure her, the stranger told Agbazue to cross over. Not realizing the mistake in doing so, the girl crossed over. The man touched her and immediately, as narrated, matters changed. According to her she lost all will to resist the man. It was just him, no other person was with him. He is a young man around 24 or 25 years old. “He told me that he is staying with his mum and brothers in the uncompleted building and they have neighbours. He told me that they live in the uncompleted building (an 18 floor abandoned Federal government building). She explained that this was about 4.30 pm, that day. “As we were going inside the building, I saw a lady coming out from the building. I saw passers-by and people playing ball. When we entered, he took me to the fourth floor and we entered a big room. “I saw clothes. He told me that even the other side has neighbours. When we continued climbing up the stairs, I told him that I was tired but he pleaded with me. At the walls, I saw some strange diagrams, cultists diagrams painted on the wall. “I saw a human head by the wall. The head is not fresh but the head has long weave on (attachment) on it . I was scared when I saw the head. I wanted to go back but he brought out a knife. “I was kind of scared but not too scared. He ordered me to keep climbing up into the wider room,” narrated the girl. According to Agbazue, the place looked like an umbrella and has many windows. She said that the man ordered her to leave the window. But she saw also that there was the word ‘buccaneer’ on the wall. The man called Michael then told her that he is a Buccaneer. Continuing her narration, the girl said that she saw lots of cultist diagrams on the wall. “I moved away and he told me to start pulling off my clothes. I told him you are not my husband so I cannot pull off my clothes for you; he told me that I was proving stubborn but I continued to beg him, but the more I begged him the more he used the knife to threaten me. “He said if he calls his friends, it will be too much for me” she said. Michael started making calls. He made the first call and he started calling the second person. According to her, the man said that she should not try to run. Now desperate, she moved to the window looking for an escape. She tried to climb down by holding a pole that she saw. At that point, he ran to her and held her hand, “trying to prevent me from escaping. “I used my other hand to push him and that was how I fell to the ground,” she stated. Residents of the area saw Ada as she fell from the building thinking that she might be an apparition. Ada is a victim of bad facebook affair. If not for God, maybe she wont be alive again. Ladies, learn o!

The man Harold Smith is not new in Nigerian history. He is one of the architects of colonial foundation that midwife Nigerian independence in 1960. I met him in a meeting three weeks ago where he opened up a bit about the lingering problem in Africa especially; Nigeria unbalanced protracted social political situations. We asked if he could make this known to the media. His response was “I am in my 80s now; I have agreed but in the past ‘they’ did not want me to say anything, but now I don’t want to go to my grave without telling the truth about the atrocities perpetrated in Africa by the colonialists. Brothers and sisters; on Ben TV last Thursday, Harold Smith was on a program to reveal what went behind the scene before the independence. The Oxford University graduate had this to say about his role in Nigeria pre and after independence era. ‘Our agenda was to completely exploit Africa . Nigeria was my duty post. When we assessed Nigeria, this was what we found in the southern region; strength, intelligence, determination to succeed, well established history, complex but focused life style, great hope and aspirations… the East is good in business and technology, the west is good in administration and commerce, law and medicine, but it was a pity we planned our agenda to give power “at all cost” to the northerner. They seemed to be submissive and silly of a kind. Our mission was accomplished by destroying the opposition at all fronts. The west led in the fight for the independence, and was punished for asking for freedom. They will not rule Nigeria ! Harold Smith confessed that the Census results were announced before they were counted. Despite seeing vast land with no human but cattle in the north, we still gave the north 55 million instead of 32 Million. This was to be used to maintain their majority votes and future power bid. He stated that the West without Lagos was the most populous in Nigeria at that time but we ignored that. The north was seriously encouraged to go into the military. According to him, they believe that the south may attend western education, but future leaders will always come from military background. Their traditional rulers were to be made influential and super human. The northerners were given accelerated promotions both in the military and civil service to justify their superiority over the south. Everything was to work against the south. We truncated their good plan for their future. “I was very sorry for the A.G; it was a great party too much for African standard. We planned to destroy Awolowo and Azikiwe well, the west and the east and sowed a seed of discord among them”. We tricked Azikiwe into accepting to be president having known that Balewa will be the main man with power. Awolowo has to go to jail to cripple his genius plans for a greater Nigeria . However, Harold Smith justified the British agenda of colonialism in Nigeria , which he believed was originally to help build Africa after the ruins of slave trade, but lamented that the British only looked after themselves and not after Nigerian interest. The British really let Nigeria down. When I see Nigerian been accused of fraud and from what I saw on the streets of Lagos ; the British were worst fraudsters. Looking at the northern leaders now he said, “If they have any agenda in Nigeria at all, sadly it is only for the north, and nothing for Nigeria . He stated that the British look after the British people and this is so all over the world. He said the time has come now to see people of intelligent minds with an open and inclusive agenda for all Nigerians in power…people who will really look after Nigerians large population…but ”I still curiously and sorrowfully see now that the British has not let go of Nigeria…her wealth,. her potentials, her future. He opined that the Caucasian people now assert themselves as the keeper of the “New Age” keys. He therefore said that it is only logical for Europeans to maintain their position of power, scientific superiority, economic exploitation, they must continue to perpetuate their lies and falsehoods and this is the most unkindest cut of all in relation to Nigeria situation! According to him, Nigeria , a great nation was crippled not because of military juntas or corrupt leaders alone but by the British and American fear of Nigeria great future. He confessed, “The fear of the place that will be our ‘dumping ground’ really occupied our minds”. Some of the things he said were not new to Nigerians or to the whole world but hearing it from the horse’s mouth is quite revealing and established more reality zones. He finally submitted that the colonial masters have caused havoc while they were in Africa , and planted timed bombs when they finally left. What we see since independence, the administration of new internal colonial masters by fellow Nigerians holding sway in power is doing more damage to Nigeria . Instead of detonating the time bombs planted by the British, the north is planting mines. He added that ‘It was my duty to carry out all of the above and I was loyal to my country. Nigerians should try to be loyal to their country leaders and followers alike. Love your country. You have got the potentials to be great again and the whole world knows this’. I am sorry for the above evil done to Nigeria . I can’t say sorry enough……" culled from..... Mr O A Olagbaiye,MBBS,FRCS Dept of Surgery Homerton University hospital Homerton Row London E9 6SR |
Men do a lot of things to try and attract women. Some of them work, and well, some of them crash and burn. The problem is that most men really have no idea what women find attractive about men. This is what leads them to shooting in the dark and hoping for the best. To really get your attraction levels soaring you have to know what women actually find attractive about men, all the time, not some time. Take the guess work out of attraction. 1. Dominance – Women absolute love dominance in a man. Now this doesn’t mean you walk around like the best thing since sliced bread and chain your woman to the stove, but it does mean you are in control. You take control, you command control and your control is incredibly attractive to females. 2. Confidence – Similar to dominance, confidence will make women swoon over you. They adore the alpha male that stands in front of the line. You can’t be the little puppy that just falls in line. Be sure and proud of who you are, confidence in yourself and what you do is what will reel women in like the catch of the day. 3. Relax – Women really like it when you seem calm and relaxed. Now this doesn’t mean you need to pop a Valium before talking to a woman but it does mean you need to take a few deep breaths and just cool it. When you appear relaxed women will take notice at how cool calm and collected you are. 4. Hygiene – An incredibly important and yet overlooked part of attracting women is hygiene. Yes, appearances are important, they are what shows the world how you care for yourself. Poor hygiene shows that you don’t respect yourself and that DOES NOT attract women. It’s also important because I don’t know a single time when two people met eyes across a crowded room and said “Wow he looks smart.” 5. Be Fun – When you are the “life of the party” everyone INCLUDING women want to be around you. They see fun people and automatically assume they will have fun being around them. Now being fun can be anything from being a social butterfly to always having a good time no matter where you go. No matter which suits you BE FUN and women will respond. 6. Be Positive – Being happy will really attract great attention. No one wants to hang out with a gloomy Gus, so if you’re moping around you are not going to attract women, in fact it will be the antithesis of attraction. You will push people away. You will find them turning and walking the opposite direction rather than engaging you. 7. Be Generous – Being giving is a good way to get female attention and it will be very positive attention. This doesn’t mean kill your bank account trying to be the cool guy that gives everything anyone asks for, but it does mean you shouldn’t shy away from offering drinks, food or something that will help them at that moment. Giving will make you appear to be the care taker and women love when men take care of them. 8. Be Chivalrous – As much as people say “Chivalry is dead” it doesn’t mean it can’t be revived. And trust me women will eat it up like the last box of Chunk Munky ice cream. Open doors for them, pull chairs out and be all around a knight in shining armor. Chivalry is NOT dead and it will win women over time and time again. 9. Be Spontaneous – Spontaneity shows excitement and women don’t want to be a part of a humdrum life. Women love spontaneous acts of passion and romance. They love it when they are surprised and when you keep things interesting no woman will be able to resist. 10. Show Commitment – Before you freak out and have a heart attack this doesn’t mean you should get down on one knee and ask the girl to marry you. It just means you need to show her you are capable of commitment and you don’t shy away from it like most men. Women love when men can commit and showing her you can, will lock in your position at the top of her list. |

Reputable online news platform Sahara Reporters, has bombed the Nigerian Army, calling them a petty organisation with generals who specialise in deploying troops to attack the news organisation on twitter. In an exclusive chat with the publisher of the news organisation Omoyele Sowore, the New York based publisher told The Paradigm that he his not surprised the army has resorted to name calling. The Nigerian Army had earlier accused Sahara Reporters of working with the deadly Boko Haram terrorist group. Dismissing the allegation, Sowore said “the US Government was similarly accused of working for Boko Haram for refusing to sell helicopters to the Nigerian Army. “The Nigerian Army has been reduced to a petty organization, the other day they deployed their men chasing after newspaper delivery vans across Nigeria because some were critical of their handling of the anti-terrorism fight. Mr. Sowore further said that “Since they can’t find or arrest our copies, they’ve resorted to cheap blackmail. “The content of the petition clearly speaks to how Boko Haram could be defeated, states why they haven’t been defeated. “The petition indicted senior military officers including stating how a GOC was diverting money and food, and also building a mansion in Kaduna. But instead of investigating and acting on the content of the petition, the military hierarchy is engaging in subterfuge and deflecting public attention from the real issues. “We join the long line of conscientious watchdogs branded by the Nigerian authorities for saying and reporting the truth,” Sowore explained. While speaking with this reporter, Sowore said that “The Nigerian Army needs to return to being a serious and respectable fighting force in Africa not an organization of generals whose only skills are limited to deploying troops to fight dirty on Twitter”. |
The Edo State Police Command of the Nigeria Police Force has declared a manhunt for a suspected witness of a dastardly murder that was likely committed in the early hours of Christmas Day. The manhunt followed the arrest by the Ikpoba Hill Police Division of the suspected murderer, Mr. Festus Aimufua, for the wicked murder of one Ms. Rose Aifuwa, a middle-aged Benin woman based in Austria, who had come home in a healthy, hale and hearty condition to celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities with her family and friends. Mr. Aimufua, who was said to be a lover of Ms. Aifuwa before she travelled to Austria, murdered the deceased and thereafter dumped her corpse on the road along Upper Mission Street extension around Oando Filling Station in Benin City in the early hours of Christmas Day. The gory sight of the woman’s physically assaulted and mangled body on the tarred road of the highly populated market street soon attracted a large crowd of onlookers some of whom would in no time identify her corpse and family, resulting to the invitation of the police and eventually, investigation into her sudden death. In spite of the scanty information surrounding the death, the state police command soon began to unravel the mystery surrounding the woman’s death with the arrest of the lover in connection to the murder. Saturday Mirror reliably gathered that Mr. Aimufua, the alleged murderer and lover popularly known as “Two Million,” might have killed the deceased after she insisted on collecting a certain amount of money running into millions of naira, which he allegedly owed her. Sources said the debt accrued from the unpaid spare parts the woman supplied the lover boy who owns a spare parts shop in Benin City. As at the time of filing this report on Boxing Day, the police had already began its search for an alleged accomplice of the murder, who witnessed and possibly assisted the prime suspect to carry out the heinous act. Saturday Mirror further gathered that the case would be transferred to the State Crime Investigation Department (SCID) for a detailed investigation of the murder. While police investigations continue, family members and residents of the community have been calling for justice for the family of the dead since Christmas Day
