Birdman you deserve cold beer. Westbrook literally proved you right in the next game. At the beginning of the season I told my friends winning with Westbrook would be the most difficult accomplishment in LeBron's career. The lakers should have made a run for lonzo rather than westbrick in the off season. birdman: |
steady986:Abegi, if he truly wants to win, he would have asked for cj to be traded. You think LeBron, MJ, KD, Harden, Kobe or Kawhi would have been okay just stat padding away in mediocrity? You either push for the change you want or change teams. Giannis was taking Bledsoe to ECF, rookie tatum did that with a weak team, Dwight took a nobody orlando team to the nba finals beating a 60 win LeBron team along the way. Abegi Lillard has been getting an easy pass for too long. No MVP, no scoring title, no all defense |
I love the discussion being held about Lillard. I have always held the opinion that Lillard has faced less pressure compared to other superstars he's being placed on the pedestal. Cj is a very good player, nurkic is a very decent center, covington is a good 3 and D player and the list goes on. I agree that his roster is flawed but the biggest grouse i have with him is that he's not ready to make the necessary sacrifice to win. He has never put sufficient pressure on the front office to make the trades that the team needs to win. I don't buy all this fake stat padding and fake loyalty trying to form the good guy, that's just cowardice. Your team is starting 3 guards and you can't demand they should trade one for a small forward. What's stopping them from putting a package around CJ and " trying " to get Ben Simmons? Lastly, while Lillard is a great shooter and good passer who gets good assist numbers, he doesn't make his team mates better like say a steph curry. Lillard is so ball dominant that once he's having a poor shooting night, there is problem for the team. On the flip side steph has strong intangibles like his off ball movement, steph utilizes his threat to shoot so well that his team mates end up with easy buckets. |
benji93:Ben is essentially a younger draymond with more length. Draymond has a greater drive and IQ but in my opinion, draymond can't get better and he's likely to keep depreciating. Simmons has room for improvement. He's not as bad as this whole situation is making him to be. |
KNIGHTBlaed:Simmons has more upside than draymond. In a team with a good coach like steve kerr and no center to clog the lane and multiple shooters, simmons will eat. |
Android17:The warriors are just wasting curry's prime for one useless future build. Trade draymond and one or 2 of those pick for ben simmons. |
A40:Those ones be mad people. You can't satisfy them |
At this junction, the sixers deserves some serious blame with the way they have handled the Simmons saga. Sure Simmons has been unprofessional and immature but the sixers should also know when to cut their losses and move ahead. Why are keeping an unhappy player around fouling the air with his toxicity. Sure he's trade value is low but the longer they played hardball looking for a godfather offer, the more his trade value is dipping. You can't tell me that no one in the NBA is not interested in gambling on a young player with 4 years on his contract. The sixers are also being greedy here, at minimum we know about the warriors interest who backed off when the sixers where asking for the metaphorical head of John the Baptist. |
We may as well stop using insulin and statins, stop childhood vaccination etc because big pharma makes money from it .. What a joke. |
This is comedy you use a smart phone, watch basketball on a tv based on a signal been beamed several kms away, you used medications made by pfizer etc but you don't trust science on vaccines. Comedy DeeMain: |
What are the Blazers up to? Poverty franchise |
steady986:The lakers already has 3 players with questionable or streaky shooting from the 3 point line in Lebron, AD and westbrook . I dont think another one is a good idea , make dy dead this derozan to lakers talk. Lakers should be looking to add shooters. |
i am glad those giannis vs ad debate are dead. AD won one nba title has robin to lebron's batman and suddenly he was ranked as number 2 player in the league. person whey no win pass 1 playoff series on his own. iranu |
A few months ago , I said if all Nigerian born talents playing in the NBA played for nigeria , we are gold medal Worthy. Na just poor organization they kill us. Just look at this list Angre Igudola Giannis Antetokounmpo Thanasis Antetokounmpo Semi Ojeleye David Nwaba Chimezie Metu Josh Okogie Gabe Vincent Semi Ojeleye Victor Oladipo Bam Adebayo Anunoby Jahlil Okafor David Nwaba Wes Iwundu Olumiye Oni KZ Okpala Andre Iguodala Deandre Ayton Chuma Okeke ARISE! No European country has this level of talent. |
I saw that first quarter and I knew if bogdanovic was fit. Atlanta takes may take series. The hawks defense is stylishly good, apart from Trae the other players are at least average on defense and can switch to guard multiple positions. It basically disrupted the bucks offense And one more thing. Next season watch out for Kevin heurter that guy is so smooth in the mid-range, there is an all-star somewhere in that guy. |
This bogdanovic injury is a big disadvantage to the hawks mehn. The bucks are getting an easy pass to the finals |
etidy:This was in January, unfortunately Ben's trade value has dropped significantly. Secondly, Trae Young already has a bigger playoffs legacy than Dame lillard , I wonder what's the excuse of the later. |
etidy:I said and got flake for this. In fact Draymond > Ben Simmons. |
Jazz bottling company. Meanwhile someone said Ben Simmons is the highest paid role player ![]() |
Patrick33:
|
Omo the amount of young beasts in the game right now is crazy with doncic being the head of the snake. The moment doncic gets a co-star, it's over for the league for the next decade. |
Omo Trae young is cooking ![]() Steph curry changed this league, you can't tell me nothing. We are seeing his legacy already been passed down to long range snipers like Trae young |
smokers:Milwaukee you mean. I think the thing about Giannis is that he exerts so much energy. Everything he does requires so much force. He's not the type of guy that paces himself. |
Some people really thought Giannis can guard Durant ![]() Na yesterday una begin watch basketball. |
Omo Durant is the ultimate scorer Kilode. 6 ft 11 Jordan once the guy rises up to shot from mid range e be like make Shaq dy dunk ![]() Secondly, BKN absolutely pounding the bucks on the inside. Mehn they need any length they can get. For the Nets to have a legit chance Blake griffin has to have a massive series. |
Maybe I am a Lillard hater but I will keep saying he lacks the cojones to win. When he was up for contract extension, he knew a supermax will effectively nullify the ability of the Blazers to be competitive and significantly reduce his opportunity to win, Yet he took a supermax. He knows CJ is the best trade asset Blazers have to improve the team and having 2 undersized guards doesn't work on defense but he's too afraid of being the villian that will push for the duo to be split to improve his chances of winning. You can't keep whining you lack the tools to win when you're not necessary to pay the sacrifice. |
Khanben:Must also be the coaching. Carlisle has to demand and position him in the low post and mid range than camping him in the periphery. Call plays for him early in the game for easy shots and dunks to get him into rhythm. Doncic is a beast, he can always find his way. |
Big props to Lillard he's been exceptional for the Blazers but all the wanking to yesterday's performance is annoying. He's the least scrutinized star in the NBA. Harden could have a similar stat line like yesterday and still be undermined by the press ![]() |
It may sound like a knee jerk reaction but the lakers are not coming out of the west this season. GUARANTEED IN BARKLEY'S VOICE ![]() |
And kudos to Tim Hardaway junior. He's effectively matching Paul George's output over 2 games essentially ensuring that the output of the other role players determines the outcome. |
.. What a joke.
