'Jason!!!' I yelled for the umpteenth time. The annoying lad simply ignored my call yet again. I sighed and settled on the couch. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I slapped away almost immediately thinking it was Jason. " Take it easy young lady",mummy cooed.
"I'm sorry mum." I quickly replied with a straight face.
"Aren't you gonna say what's on your mind hon?"
"Alright mum,you got me there." I managed to smile for the first time that evening.
"It's just that Jason's quite annoying when it comes to dressing up. I feel like he's the female here while I'm the male. We're worse than late for our prom night. Don't get me wrong here,he's the best twin I could wish for. What really pisses me is his inability to pick a particular outfit once and for all each time we have to go out".
I finally finished the speech with a sigh
Mum pulled me in for a hug and we stayed that way for two minutes.
"Don't let it get on your nerves sugar,I'll talk to him again."
I simply nodded.
"I'm ready sis!"Jason exclaimed.
I glared at him. He opened his mouth to say something but decided against it.
"This'll be the last time,I promise" he said quietly.
He came close to me and pecked me as he finished his statement.
"Mum,we gotta run" I said hugging her.
"Take care kids" she said as she watched us scurry away.

Jamille and I sat at the back of the bright red Honda Pilot. The driver revved the car and we left our humble abode. I knew my twin was terribly mad at me. It actually wasn't my intention to stay in that long. My button got ripped and I didn't want her laughing me to scorn so I had to fix it myself. I got pricked thrice by the needle before I successfully mended the button. "Mille,I apologised to you earlier. Ain't that enough?"
"I heard you earlier,ain't that enough?" She retorted.
I knew for a fact that engaging her in a word battle wouldn't end well for me. I decided to sing her favourite song "Who am I?" By Casting Crowns.
The trick worked and soon she was singing along with me and holding my hands.
Once we came to the end of the song,I held her hands tenderly and said in the meekest voice "Am I still your favourite twin?".
She smiled and whispered "Yes" before giving me a hug.
The driver's voice announcing that we had gotten to our school made us disentangle.
I got out of the car and opened the other door for her to step out.
I hadn't noticed her dress at home so I took my time to swallow in the details before whispering a quick "you look good sis".
As expected,she smiled. She placed her hand in mine as we walked majestically into the large hall.

It's EvaJael again. I promised some of my new friends here that I would try my hands on a story. I've never done this before and I hope you all would be my teachers. Comments would be really appreciated.

Lolz...I guess both parties are to blame. Most readers have no chill at all. They forget that writers are also humans and not robots. Constantly frustrating them yields no results. Some of the readers are quite evil sef...how can u be reading someone's work quietly and not comment even once haba na. It isn't fair at all.
And writers too can suffer person. If you won't be chanced to update,communicate with your readers but don't stall for too long. I believe all writers here should have the contact of at least two persons who can help u communicate in case u are very unavailable.
We all can make this thing fun for ourselves with a little more patience and understanding. Ghost readers,God is watching us o. #cheers #teamfaithfulreader #consistentwriters
