Often times there are pieces of advice, help, gift, care etc one can give to oneself thinking it is the best treatment possible for that situation but it is actually detrimental to either his/her body or soul which is found out from the aftermath.

Take for example, I steal for a living and make good money from it. If I then advise or try to get a friend who is jobless and penniless into stealing in order to better his finances just like me, do I love that friend of mine genuinely?

What they have in common is love. Both command us to love one another (neighbour)

Now, how they differ is the kind of love in question.

Christ's love for us is total and of the purest essence (Perfect). Humans' love is great but not perfect. A human can treat his fellow badly but feels he/she is loving a neighbour with that singular act.

Christ wants us (humans) to love the way he loves and that's why its a NEW commandment.

You don't get it. Jesus condemned the neglect of other charitable acts and not the payment of tithe. He was trying to say paying tithe alone is not enough. That doesn't mean you should condemn tithe paying. What you should condemn is the pastors neglect of other charitable acts.
