*The Man Who Sees Ghosts* Chapter 1 : The Gift No One Believed Joseph had the gift since the day he was born. A third eye. While other people saw only the living world, Joseph saw both: the living and the dead. His father had it too. Before he died, his father was a well-known spiritualist. There was no form of wisdom he didn’t practice. He could walk into the spiritual realm in his sleep, speak to ancestors, and return with answers. The gift was passed down to Joseph. But it was never easy. At the bar, Joseph would see ghosts sitting at empty tables, drinking and laughing together. At the hospital, he’d see them beside sick beds, holding the hands of loved ones who couldn’t feel them. Some just hovered in the corridors, waiting. At the market, he’d see them bargaining for tomatoes, inspecting clothes, living like they were still here. At night, he’d see the lonely ones, sitting on curbs, staring at nothing, too sad to move on. When he tried to tell people, his friends, they didn’t believe him. They laughed. “Joseph is talking to himself again.” “Mad man.” They didn’t know he was communicating with ghosts. Until the night that changed everything. He was walking home late when he heard tires screech. On a dark, empty stretch of a quiet, lonely street, he saw two men drag a lady out of a car. A gunshot. She fell. They drove off. Joseph hid behind a wall, his heart hammering. He ran home and didn’t sleep. He didn’t tell anyone. Who would believe him? Hours later, he stepped outside his compound for air. And there she was. Sitting at his gate. He froze. The same lady. Pale. Dress soaked. Eyes full of pain. Joseph knew immediately. This was her ghost. “You saw what happened,” she said quietly. “How those evil men murdered me. Those men are my blood brothers.” Joseph was shocked. “How can blood brothers murder their own sister?” Chapter 2: Blood Betrayal The lady’s name was Sandra. And she told him the full story. “My father loved me so much,” she said. “He died of cancer and left most of his properties to me. He made me CEO of his company because I was kind, hardworking, and ambitious. My two other brothers? Jealous and careless. All they did was drink, smoke, and chase women. They were not ambitious. When they saw that I inherited most of Dad’s inheritance, they started plotting to kill me. I still loved them. I was still kind to them. One day they tricked me. ‘Let’s all hang out at a bar,’ they said. I got dressed and followed them. On our way, they took me to another quiet road. That’s where you met me. They pulled me out and said, ‘You took everything from us. Our inheritance. Now we’re taking your life.’ One of my brothers brought out a pistol and shot me. Yes. You witnessed it. Joseph felt sick. “I'm sorry. What do you need from me?” “You must help me, Joseph. You saw the scene. My body is still at that spot, lying there. No one has seen it yet. Go there. Also, go report to the police what you saw. Tell them you followed them behind their backs after the murder. Tell them you managed to trace where they live. I shall give you their address. The police will doubt you at first. But I will give you the evidence… After they killed me, before they left, one of my brother’s handkerchiefs fell out of his pocket. He didn’t know. That’s one piece of evidence. Tell the police the handkerchief was dropped there at the murder scene. Also tell them to check the bullet. The gun they used to shoot me is in their upper bedroom. A bullet is missing from it. The police should check it against the bullet they will find in my body after the autopsy. You will see they both match.” Joseph nodded, shaking. The next morning, Joseph went to the police. He told them everything: where the body was, the address, the handkerchief, and the gun in the upper bedroom. The officers were skeptical. “How did Joseph know all these details?” The police investigated. They found the body. They did an autopsy and found the bullet. They found the handkerchief at the murder scene. The ballistics matched. The handkerchief had the brother’s initials. In the upper bedroom, they found the gun with a bullet missing. The police brought the brothers in. “Why is the bullet in your gun the same as the bullet we found in her body?” “Why was your handkerchief found at the murder scene?” Two pieces of evidence. They denied it at first. The police pressed them in the cell. Finally, they broke and confessed. Jealousy. They wanted to inherit their dad’s company. So they killed their own sister. They were locked up. Chapter 3 : From Curse to Purpose After that murder case, people started seeing Joseph differently. No one called him “mad man” again. The police themselves came to him. “Joseph, we need your help with other cases.” And Joseph used his gift. Not to be scared of ghosts anymore, but to help them speak. To help the living get justice. To help the dead rest. Because his gift wasn’t a curse. It was a purpose. And Joseph, the man who sees ghosts, was finally not alone. _Moral of the story:_ _The things that make you different are often the very things the world needs the most._ _THE END_ - |
When a man gifted to see ghosts encounters an ordeal that changes his life forever, he learns his curse may be the only thing standing between justice and silence.

Your mother, sister and daughters are also women. Because there is one bad egg in a crate doesn't mean the other eggs are bad. You are just unlucky to keep meeting the bad ones. You haven't met the good ones. Don't judge overall women just based on some group of bad women you must have encountered. Don't promote hate and violence against women because your hate will not even hurt the bad ones but the innocent ones. |
Number one point just sums it up. Do not send money to strangers online. Even people claiming ill, do not send them money. The scam rate is too high |

*"THE VILLAGE WITCH WHO STOLE VOICES"* *CHAPTER 1: THE WITCH WITH A CROAKED THROAT* In the village of *Umuokwu*, there lived a witch named *Mama Ojo*. She was powerful. She could bend trees and sour milk. But she had one curse: *a terrible voice*. When she sang, goats ran. When she spoke, babies cried. As a child, other kids mocked her: _"Ojo, sound like frog with cold!"_ _"Close your mouth, witch!"_ So Mama Ojo grew to hate beautiful voices. She made a vow to the spirit of the Silent Swamp: _"Anyone with a sweet voice in this village will go dumb. I will be the only one heard."_ And it worked. The drummer lost his voice. The choir leader went mute. The storyteller could only whisper. The village became quiet. *CHAPTER 2: THE DAUGHTER OF THE RAIN* But there was one voice left. *ADAMMA*, 16 years old. Daughter of *Nne Mmili* — the Woman of the Rain. Legend said when Adamma’s mother was pregnant, it rained for 9 days without stopping. When Adamma was born, the rain sang with her first cry. Her voice was like water on dry ground. Like wind in bamboo. When she sang, crops grew. When she prayed, the sky listened. Mama Ojo tried everything. Charms. Curses. Hot pepper in the well. But Adamma’s voice only got sweeter. *MAMA OJO* _(furious)_ She must be protected by rain. The only voice I cannot take... is the Daughter of the Rain. *CHAPTER 3: THE DEAL* On the night of the New Yam Festival, Mama Ojo went to the river. She called the Rain Spirit. *MAMA OJO* Give me her voice! *RAIN SPIRIT* _(thunder)_ Her voice is not hers to give. It is a gift to the village. Take it, and you take the rain. Mama Ojo didn’t care. She was blind with jealousy. That night, fog covered the village. Mama Ojo stood outside Adamma’s window. *MAMA OJO* Adamma! Sing for me one last time! Adamma, kind-hearted, stepped out and sang. A song for harvest. A song for peace. Mama Ojo opened her mouth and _inhaled_. Adamma clutched her throat. No sound came out. Her beautiful voice was gone — trapped in a black gourd in Mama Ojo’s hut. The next morning, the sky was dry. No clouds. The river was low. The elders were scared. *CHAPTER 4: THE SILENCE THAT KILLED* Weeks passed. No rain. Crops died. Wells dried. The village realized: _When Adamma lost her voice, the rain lost its way too._ Mama Ojo was happy at first. She walked around singing with Adamma’s voice. But the voice didn’t fit her. It cried inside the gourd. At night she heard 7 voices weeping: all the people she had made dumb. She couldn’t sleep. The stolen voice was burning her from inside. *CHAPTER 5: THE SACRIFICE* Adamma, though mute, was not weak. The elders told her: _"Go to the Silent Swamp. Break the gourd. But you must give something back."_ Adamma walked 7 days without water. Without speaking. At the swamp, Mama Ojo was waiting, hoarse and mad. *MAMA OJO* You came to beg? _Adamma shook her head. She picked up a stone and smashed the black gourd._ *WHOOSH!* All the stolen voices flew out like birds. Adamma’s voice returned — louder than before. And with it, the sky opened. *RAIN.* Heavy. Healing. Singing. But Mama Ojo... she opened her mouth to scream, and nothing came out. The spirit took her voice as payment. Forever. She fell to her knees, crying with no sound. *ADAMMA* _(voice ringing over the rain)_ I forgive you. Because a person who hates music has never been listened to. *EPILOGUE* The rain returned to Umuokwu. The crops grew. Adamma became the village’s voice. She taught children songs, and prayers, and truth. Mama Ojo lived to be old. She never spoke again. But every rainy season, people saw an old woman sitting by the river, writing on sand. One day a child read it: _"I was loud because I was empty. Forgive me."_ The villagers built a small shrine: *"The Stone of Voices"*. And the rule was: _Never mock someone’s voice. You don’t know what storm it’s holding back._ *THE END.* --- *MORAL:* Jealousy tries to silence others because it can’t stand its own echo. But a true voice — like rain — cannot be owned. It belongs to everyone. 🌧️ |

🧜♀️ Deep beneath the shimmering shores of the island lived a beautiful mermaid named Janice. 🧜♀️ Her hair flowed like moonlight on water, and her tail shimmered with every color of the sea — blues, greens, and hints of silver when the sun hit just right. While the other mermaids sang and danced in the coral palaces, Janice was different. She loved watching the human world above. Janice was no ordinary mermaid. Every night, at *12 midnight*, she was granted a rare gift — the power to transform into a human girl. But at *6:00am sharp*, the magic faded, and she would turn back into a mermaid, no matter where she stood. She loved wandering through the human town after midnight. But it was always the same: silent streets, dark windows, and sleeping people. She wished she had someone to talk to. She was lonely and didn't know how to communicate with humans. All she did was just stare at them. Stare at the streets, listen to some loud music that plays at night and the enjoy the cool atmosphere. “Why do humans waste the most beautiful hours of the night asleep?” she often wondered. One night, at 12:15am, Janice walked past the old pier. What she saw made her freeze. A cruel fisherman was dragging a small boy whose hands were bound with rope. Standing beside him were three men in black coats. They looked like dark sorcerers, counting wads of money. *FISHERMAN* He’s the last one. Pay me. Janice’s heart pounded. These men meant to harm the boy. And she only had *six hours* before she turned back. Thinking quickly, Janice stepped forward in her human form and pretended to cry. *JANICE* Help! My little sister fell into the water! The men turned toward her, distracted. In that moment, Janice knelt by the water’s edge and sang her secret song. _WHOOSH!_ A wave crashed forward, and icy mist burst from the sea. It struck the three men and froze them solid where they stood. *JANICE* This will only last an hour. I have to move now. She ran to the boy, untied his hands, and pulled him to safety. *JANICE* Where do you live? *BOY* _(trembling)_ I... I don’t know. I’m lost. *JANICE* Don’t worry. I’ll help you. The boy stared at her in awe. *BOY* Who are you? I saw what you did. You spoke to the water and froze them. *JANICE* _(softly)_ I’m a mermaid. And I’m here to help you. *BOY* Wow... amazing. An hour later — _CRACK!_ The ice shattered. The men were free, and furious. “Find them! Kill them!” they roared as they searched the docks. Janice grabbed the boy’s hand and they ran. They hid in an abandoned boathouse, holding their breath as footsteps passed by. At 3:00am, Janice had an idea. The lighthouse. At 4:30am, they reached the lighthouse. Janice bolted the door and climbed to the top. She rang the great bell — _CLANG, CLANG, CLANG!_ Then she turned the light toward the police station, flashing SOS across the water. At 5:50am — _WEE WOO, WEE WOO!_ Police sirens filled the night. The criminals panicked and fled, dropping their money bag behind them. The police broke in. *POLICE* Are you alright? What happened? *BOY* Those men tried to kill us. Thank goodness you came. Janice glanced at the sky. *5:58am.* Her legs began to tingle. Scales shimmered across her skin. She was transforming. *JANICE* _(panicked)_ No... not here... Her tail was forming. If anyone saw, her secret would be exposed. The boy noticed instantly. He thought fast. He grabbed her hand and shouted to the officers: *BOY* She’s in shock! She needs air! I have to get her to the water, now! Before anyone could stop them, he dragged Janice out the back door and to the sea wall. Cameras flashed. People ran forward. *5:59am.* Janice was half mermaid. Her legs were fusing together. *JANICE* _(whispering)_ Thank you... *BOY* _(pushing her gently into the waves)_ Go! I’ll tell them you ran away. _SPLASH!_ At *6:00am sharp*, Janice became a mermaid once more and dove deep beneath the surface. All the people saw were ripples. *BOY* _(to the crowd)_ She left. She said she didn’t want to get herself involved in Police case. Her secret was safe. The police arrested the criminals that night, thanks to the evidence they left behind. The boy was placed in a safe home. He never told anyone the truth about Janice. But every full moon, he would walk to the shore. And there, waiting in the moonlight, was his friend. Years passed. The boy grew up and became a coast guard officer. Janice finally had what she had always longed for — a true friend in the human world. She spent every one of her six hours with him, laughing, talking, and watching the night together. And she finally understood: The night was never empty or lonely. It was simply waiting for two heroes to wake up. *THE END* ✨ - |

*"THE SNAKE WOMAN AND THE BLIND MAN"* _A myth about love, scales, and truth_ --🐍🐍🐍 *CHAPTER 1: THE WOMAN WITH MOONLIGHT SKIN* Her name was *Nne Udo* — but the elders called her *Eke Nwanyi*, The Snake Woman. Every full moon she would shed her skin at the river, become a woman, and walk into the village of *Umuari*. She was beautiful. Hair like black water. Voice like rain. But she could never stay. By dawn she had to return to the river, or her true scales would show. She was lonely for 200 years. Until she met *Obinna*. *CHAPTER 2: THE BLIND MAN WHO COULD SEE WITH HIS HANDS* Obinna was 27. Handsome. Tall. A wood carver. But he had been blind since birth. The village pitied him. Nne Udo did not. To her, he was the first person who never stared at her. Never asked why her eyes looked like pools at night. Never flinched. He "saw" her with his hands. *SCENE: BY THE IROKO TREE* _Evening. Obinna is carving. Nne Udo sits beside him._ *OBINNA* Your voice is new here. *NNE UDO* I just came to the market. *OBINNA* _(reaches out, she lets him)_ Can I? _His fingers trace her face. Her jaw. Her neck. Her hands._ Your skin is cool. Like river stone. And your hair smells like rain. Nne Udo’s heart broke and mended at the same time. For the first time, someone loved her without seeing her. They fell in love. He would describe the sunset to her. She would describe colors to him. He called her _"my moon"_ because she was always cool and bright. *CHAPTER 3: THE NIGHT HE FELT THE TRUTH* One night during harmattan, Obinna was sick with fever. Nne Udo stayed to nurse him. She forgot the time. Dawn was coming. As she held his hand, he whispered: *OBINNA* You’re so cold today. And... your skin. _His fingers moved down her arm._ It’s smooth... but here... _He felt it. A faint ridge. A scale. Then another. Under her wrist._ He sat up, heart pounding. *OBINNA* Nne? What is this? The first ray of sun hit the window. Nne Udo gasped. Her eyes went gold. Her neck elongated. She couldn’t run to the river in time. Half woman. Half serpent. Scales from her collarbone down. Tongue flicked once. *NNE UDO* _(crying)_ Please don’t scream. But Obinna couldn’t see her. He could only _feel_ her. And what he felt was not human. *OBINNA* _(backing away)_ You’re... you’re not a woman. *NNE UDO* I am. I am also this. I love you, Obinna. I’ve never lied with my heart. *OBINNA* Then why didn’t you tell me? *NNE UDO* Because I was afraid the moment you "saw" me, you would stop letting me touch you. She cried. Her tears were clear like water. She turned and slithered out the door, back to the river before the sun could burn her. *CHAPTER 4: THE CHOICE* For 7 days Obinna did not eat. The village said _"A spirit was in his house."_ The priest said _"Drive her away with fire."_ But Obinna remembered her hands. Her voice. How she laughed when he dropped his chisel. On the 7th night, he went to the river. He sat on the bank and called her name. *OBINNA* Nne Udo! If you’re a snake, then bite me. If you’re my moon, then come. The water rippled. She rose. Fully serpent this time. 12ft long, with eyes that held galaxies. She could have killed him. She could have left. Instead she rested her head in his lap. *NNE UDO* You’re not afraid? *OBINNA* I was afraid of loving a lie. Now I know the truth. I can’t see you. But I know you. The question is... can you live with a man who will never see your beauty? *NNE UDO* And can you live with a woman who must return to water every dawn? *CHAPTER 5: THE ENDING* They made a deal. Every night, she would come as a woman and be with him till 4am. Every morning before sun, she would return to the river. He carved her a comb from iroko wood. She gave him a scale that never got cold. The village never understood. They called him _"the man who married a river."_ He called her _"the woman who taught a blind man to see."_ When Obinna died at 80, they found him by the riverbank. Coiled around him was a large python. It didn’t move when people came. It only left when the first rain fell. Some say Nne Udo still comes out on full moons. If you go to the river and you’re lonely, and you close your eyes... you might feel cool hands trace your face and hear a voice say: _"I don’t need your eyes to love you."_ *THE END.* --- *MORAL:* Love isn’t about what your eyes see. It’s about what your heart can hold — even if it has scales. 🐍 |
