In SA the parliament has powers over military as representatives of voters in the land. Chief, remember military used to rule Nigeria that's why you call them unofficial forth arm of the government authority which is not like that in SA. We treat military as just a government department in SA.
blasphemy!....so your parliament is too big to receive advise from the military?.i'm not disputing that the parliament has constitutional powers over virtually every other arms of government, but in nigeria, the CDS do give advise to the parliament and presidency on how to mobilize, strategize, motivate and deploy troops and military equipments when and where needed!.are your senators and parliamentarians military men?,do they have training and experience on military matters?,how then can they do without military advise on military issue.
yes,the military USED to rule us,but that is besides the point.the military is an important arm of government, without them, then no sovereignity!.

Nigeria has the highest HIV/AIDS prevalence rate in the world. I swear in a few coming years you will proudly and official topple SA from number one top spot and take the trophy as the king with the crown.

i sincerely doubt that, kindly hold on to your "top spot".you are a soldier you say?....er..sorry to ask,but are you sure you arent...y'know..HIV positive?..just asking!.south africans shag everywhere,on every available surface, just like rabbits in heat.everywhere in SA stinks of $ex and hormones,of course, your country is bound to be HIV infested.

The parliament does not consult any military chiefs to make political decisions affecting military. The SANDF never lost the battle, they merely defended themselves from the bandits who wanted to consume them with the hell fire and only for the enemy to suffer heavy casualties. The military chiefs wanted us to finish them off but they soon raised the white flag after realising that our reinforcements were on their way. They feared the gripens and rooivalks. However, the parliament stopped everything before we ever started with our offensive to crash the bandits until there was no single one left.
*gasp*,what sort of government and armed forces do you run,if your parliament doesnt take advise from the military top brass on military-related political decisions?.the military is the unofficial fourth arm of a democratic government, and must therefore be given uthmost priority.
yes,you never lost the battle, but you lost the war{bitterly,i might add}.m'boy, thy army is toothless.

LOL,then let's say they are cowards and unskilled then, seeing as they can't defeat a ragtag BH that they run away from on the daily?.How many suicide bombers faced up to the soldiers and traded bullets with them? Zero.Don't cry "manipulation".Argue your way through. Is the Nigerian army ragtag, cowards or hapless?I mean they are "light years" ahead of BH according to you and yet they can't stop them at home. You listed the following for BH: APCs,rocket launchers, kalashnikovs and AK47,artillery,armour piecing bullets, bombs;grenades;IED
Any military that's "light years ahead" of that and fighting at homeshould not have a problem stopping such a terror group, especially if such military is apparently NOT "rag tag",unless of course such military are cowards, ineffective and unskilled.
if the NA is unskilled and cowardly, how were they able to reclaim territories and kill terrorists in thousands?,suicide bombers cant be predicted, and you know that!.i smell double standard here.

Nope, the president opted to send more reinforcements, equipments via uganda, Rooivalks and gripens. So, in order to stop us from being called before the international criminal court and be labelled as oppressors and colonists, the parliament ordered our immediate withdrawal.
the parliament ordered your immediate withdrawal on the advise of your military chief, following your defeat at the vicious hands of rebels.SA sent in C-130 aircrafts to pick you up from under "french protection" where you were cowering like frightened cockroaches.

It CANNOT be the same reason if the US is fighting in other people's countries. You argued that Nigeria is light years ahead of BH,so their being "well armed" is not an excuse.Could it be that you are cowards and ragtag too LOL?
NA has not faced up to suicide bombers, some of whom are young girls and not fighters-so,miss us with that, fam. It's a very simple message.Don't pretend to be confused by it.No need to mic check. It's clear.
the NA isnt ragtag.do you think fighting terrorists is a simple matter of driving into their stronghold and demanding that they surrender "by the order of the federal republic..." or face certain death?.i know the manipulation game that you are playing,do not think me ignorant of your dubious tactics.
i clearly remember our troops apprehendind countless suicide bombers and stopping many bomb detonations, isnt that fighting against suicide bombing?,how else do you want them to fight?,even satellites cant detect suicide bombers!

"Light years", you say?
THEREFORE, the whole chat about BH being "well armed" was a waste of time. The Nigerian Army would ideally and very happily annul BH's being well armed by demonstrating its being "light years" ahead. But that hasn't happened because two ragtags are facing off.
And oh, suicide bombers don't kill soldiers. They kill civilians, so don't talk about fighting them. You don't.
the same reason why the US hasnt vanquished al quaeda and ISIS.is the US poorly armed?,is it "rag tag"?
so what you propose is that the NA should leave suicide bombers to run amok in civilian communities simply because "you{we} dont fight" them?

Parliament's decision? Exactly!
And since when is one battle "a string"?
Oh, by the way:
"In 2007 Bozizé requested assistance from South Africa for training the FACA and refurbishment of military facilities. The two nations signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 11 February 2007. In March the SANDF training and engineering personnel under the command of Col George Sibanyon.[clarification needed] By September 2009, 123 FACA members had received leadership training, including 23 who attended courses in RSA.[5]"
and what good did it do him{bozize} when seleka took over his government?.

the NA is light~years ahead of boko haram in the area of sophistication, but you must understand that fighting religious fanatics who go as far as strapping bombs on themselves in order to kill others,is a very tasking endeavor.fighter islamic terror isnt about weapons alone.

And how can a MISSION to train fail when the training was given? Hmmmm? How?
And once you're done with that, tell us how a parliamentary decision to pull out (as accepted by you) is linked to the fighters? Hmmm?
what training was given?,how many CAR government troops were trained?.your parliament's decision to withdraw troops from CAR was advised by your military chief, following a string of violent defeats at the hands of seleka rebels.

What is BH armed with? MRAPS or what?

If you don't know what BH is armed with, then you have no business saying they are "well armed".

a terror group that uses APCs,rocket launchers, kalashnikovs and AK47,artillery,armour piecing bullets, bombs;grenades;IEDS is considered well armed in my books.

1. You have AGREED that South African parliament pulled the SANDF out.

2. You have DEMONSTRATED that you don't know what the SANDF's mission was.

So,

If you agree the decision to pull out was made by politicians; AND

If you have no idea what the mission was,

How on earth can you be trusted to speak about failure?

How do you even begin to make sense on the point? Hmmm?
what are you even saying, dont try to manipulate my points to suit your misguided beliefs.i understand that SANDF mission in CAR was to train government troops and protect south african interests in CAR.but, when your troop were confronted by rebels, they pulled down their pants and ran to the airport.

Augugust argued today that Boko Haram has no MRAPS or such. So, tell us, are they sophisticated or not?
Actually, it is not that Boko Haram is not sophisticated, but it is that the Nigerian military is equally unsophisticated. All these things that you listed, if you aren't equal to the task, would then mean that BH is more sophisticated than your military. Your military should also be well funded or better. Your diplomacy should give you influence with your neighbours. But none of these things are possible because you are ragtag. So you give the world excuses.
It's ragtag vs ragtag at this point.
SANDF had no interest in who took over government because that was not the mission. You do know what "mission" means, don't you?
boko haram is a well armed terror group, that shouldnt be disputed.spear me petty sentiments and childish sarcasms,we all know how terribly you failed in CAR,this isnt about boko haram, its about seleka and SANDF.

4.You could not deny South Africa's involvement in the establishment of your auto industry.
5.You could not deny that South Africa exports more cars.
6."South Africa has a bigger industry".
These were your words and performance today, alright.
Now put it all together and say: "South Africa is an emerging market and Nigeria is a frontier market".
You'll be all the better for it. You've already put together all the required pieces anyway.
And no, it is not South Africa that has had to devalue the Rand, but it is Nigeria that has had to devalue the Naira at this time.
And DO TELL US how many stock markets are in Africa,in which case all these African countries are then not frontier?

And do point out the bodies of the 50 whenever you are ready. To your soldiers, picture related...
boko haram is a sophisticated,well-armed and well-trained islamic terror group.they not only recruit from nigeria, but from neighbouring cameroon, chad, and niger, they also employ tuareg fighters from mali and libya in their violent campaigns, they have a large network and are well funded,it was even recently reported that there is an awakening movement for boko haram in ghana.so stopping boko haram isnt a dancing matter.on the other hand, seleka rebels are 70% kwashiokor-ridden child soldiers, with neither training nor battle experience, yet they managed to take over government under your watch, and even slaughter your soldiers in predictable ambushes.

not every economy has both consumer and producer based industry, also, only an emerging market can sustain a stock market.a bigger industry does not reflect productivity.

nigeria is not just a frontier market,it has grown to become an emerging market due to the recent rise of the automobile, agriculture, textile and petrochemical industry.
the fact that nissan SA is supervising other nissan sub-groups in africa doesnt mean that SA is supervising us,it only highlights that their SA branch is the most strategic.despite your vaunted industry;SA's productivity is low and a large chunk of your labour market is idle.
