OP don’t let anyone misstate your frugal lifestyle as stinginess, it’s the Nigerian mentality creeping in. I know someone popping champagne during his paid job, only for him to start begging for money 2 weeks after loosing that job.

It’s the Nigerian style to shame and punish you for your frugality in one of the poorest countries on earth. I can assure you that your mentality will take you to a higher ground and don’t let the nay sayers change your mindset towards money, remember what they say about money in economics “a scarce commodity”.

Here in Europe a date is just a cup of coffee, please don’t let those hungry mofos convince you otherwise. If you are a serial dater like me, you would run into some dates where you or the girl just don’t feel any sparks, so it’s better to keep the spendings very basic on a first date.

You get a +1 rep from me for your attitude towards money and future plans and investment.
