That is purely his opinion. If restructuring meas resource control, the north will always be alright. We know the regions without resources. Nobody in the north is afraid of restructuring.
Really?

We igbos stand with the north, there must be no restructuring. All we want is an end to corruption.

Also we want every single natural resource to be under the control of the FG. Both liquid gaseous and solid.

The FG must take over and run all seaports and custom operations.

As time goes on with proper consideration the FG will be in charge of coordinating state IGR, so that they can be the ones allocating it to the states equitable.

Every region in Nigeria must grow, no region must leave the other behind

Let us assume Tinubu is a kleptomaniac. It is an assumption, not a fact. Despite the money Abacha stole, despite the criminality perpetrated by Saraki, HOW many northerners would come out to describe them the way you described Tinubu, whom you have no proof is a kleptomaniac?
Why do you think I ll go with a man that presented and garnished a FULL TIME FRAUD AND CRIMINAL Buhari a saint just for his selfish ambition . and pls donts start with an excuse for his selfish actions..

The north contributes little or nothing...but they are more intelligent and politically mature than the rest of the country. To be in control, you don't need resources, oil, minerals and all. You need a sharp intellect and balls. This is one thing northern leaders have. In the south, we tear down our politicians instead of supporting them. Majority of the news against Tinubu was written by southerners and they call him Fulani slave master. If Tinubu was a politician of northern extraction, no northerner would publicly insult him. We are our own enemies. The northerners are more cohesive. Until the south speaks with one voice
Why Tiinubu? Abeg present a better person and not a KLEPTOMANIAC like Tinubu. You speak as if he can be trusted..

.

It's is not, I posted a question in my write up can u name a state, that others have rules since 1999yhat is better off than Lagos. Let engage ourselves who know I may gain from ur knowledge, let stop been a pawn in the board game of naija politicians. The same Obaseki PDP condemned that he has done nothing in Edo is d golden boy today, like wise the same Ize APC called a thief is now an angel. Is not high time we the people rise against this few politicians.

Back to Tinubu, it takes a man who is an Icon to be relevant till date, name one politicians whose name has been a voice from 1999 till date, name one state who has better revenue than Lagos since d birth of democracy in naija. Tinubu is never a saint and I won't be surprised if we all say he is evil, even in US despite the MAGA policy of Trump has yielded well those who hate him are growing in numbers, but we can't deny the fact that the economy of US is far better.
He should keep his relevance to Lagos

Honestly speaking, there must be something about the man. Hate him or love him, there is something about him. Some ppu hate him, not because in the other regions there are no corrupt politicians but it's funny how they leave the fire on their roof and goes about quenching their neibo owns.

He is human and I don't expect perfection from him, but I respect him so much a man who has been in politics for over 20 yrs and still relevant hmm. With the recent stuff in Apc, I noticed many change the narration all bcus it's Tinubu, for God sake where do we throw our integrity, how can a deputy sec. become a party chairman?

Well,,I noticed many hate him just bcus of his person. People complain he has hold Lagos to ransom and nothing to show for it, but I challenge any body to name any state that is better in governance since 1999 till date than Lagos, most of Lagos blue print are copy by other states, In Enugu they av Gburugburu traffic police, in Kano they av Karota all this from Latsma model.

Well, I never say he is a saint but I think there something about him many wish they av his type in their region.

Hate him or love, he is just human.

Ambode does not have the support of his deputy and majority of the assembly were against him.

He would av been impeached if he attempted any thing. Once impeached , he won't be able to even contest and will lose every entitlement as a former Governor.

Ambode and Obaseki's case are not the same..

Ambode's deputy supported Sanwoolu and voted for him during primaries.

So before you people write try and think it won't hurt.
He would have atleast fought ..why not start the fight first and wait for what will follow.. If others decide not to join him, all well and good and if they do, its okay too. But let it be on record that ATLEAST HE FOUGHT ... Thats it

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Unhappy Over Governors Takeover Of APC by Evercurious(f): 1:39pm On Jun 26, 2020
fairfora:
I was about putting up a piece on Tinubu at the politics thread this morning but reading this, i felt it's not necessary. Nigerian youths let us take a cue of the edo politics as its still super hot. I watched the primaries yesterday and was amazed at the orderliness as it was televised live. That was the way our forefathers practiced open and transparent politics. I also heard Imasuagbon, one of the aspirants who stepped down speak this morning and could take a few words away from his statements. . This message goes to the yoruba youths in particular of which am one. The earlier we end godfatherism in yorubaland the better for us. Oyo is winning already with the emergence of Makinde who's thinking in the right direction. In retrospect, Pa Awolowo was no godfather to anyone rather, some of his folks ended up stabbing him in the back for being open as he gave everyone a level playing ground to operate. I remember a story once put up by Chief Omololu Olunloyo whom I respect so much. He said he always visited Pa Awo in his Oke Bola residence, opposite the popular Odusote Bookstores, the largest bookseling company in Africa at a time. He said he would sit down as an opposition and awolowo would give him beer to drink and he would tell him papa, you cannot win, telling him the reasons and they'd all laugh over it.

I also remember Alhaji Lateef Jakande in his active days in politics. He was no godfather to anyone, likewise Pa Michael Otedola who reigned after him and that was why someone like otedola, a printer could become governor of Lagos. Tinubu came and made himself a small god, surrounding himself with sycophants and thugs, those who would not hesitate to take anyone off his feet, should the person speak anything against him.

My people, we have been hearing that we are the futures of Nigeria but the future wouldn't stop coming our way. Many of us would soon become irrelevant in politics and leadership because age would soon start playing its part. Yesterday's youths are now men of today who can hardly fend for their family and no thanks to godfathers who have mortgaged their future, only to give them stipends when the election is approaching and dump them thereafter for their selfish gains. The bane behind our ordeal is godfatherism. I'd urge the diehard supporters of godfatherism to please sheath their swords and join the winning team. The team is neither the APC nor the PDP but you and I who can form a formidable force against godfatherism in Nigeria and the future would be truly ours. They don't have the number, we do. They only have money and influence but if we could shun them, we can take our country back. Good morning all.
Great and inspiring write up
